On certain motorhomes, the seat belt(s) may not comply with Canada Motor Vehicle Safety Standard 209 - Seat Belt Assemblies. Due to a defect in manufacturing, the seat belt buckle may not release as required by the standard. This could hinder egress from the vehicle in an emergency, increasing the risk of injury. Correction: Dealers will inspect and, if necessary, replace affected seatbelt buckles.
On certain motorhomes, the electrical motor for the awning could become damaged, allowing the awning to unfurl unexpectedly. As a result, the awning could strike another vehicle, a stationary object, or a bystander, causing property damage and/or personal injury. Correction: Dealers will replace the awning motor.
On certain vehicles, the connector for the brake and cruise control signal diode jumper assembly may come loose, resulting in a possible intermittent or continuously open circuit. Two circuits are potentially affected. One circuit disengages the cruise control with brake pedal application, and the other circuit illuminates the brake lights with brake application. Failure of the cruise control to disengage, or of the brake lights to illuminate when the brake pedal is depressed, could result in a crash causing property damage and/or personal injury. Correction: Dealers will verify that the locking tabs on the diode jumper assembly connector are fully engaged and locked into place.
On certain motorhomes, the mechanism for the slide-out room could contact and damage the fuel filler hose. This could allow diesel fuel to leak onto the ground while refuelling the vehicle. Fuel leakage, in the presence of an ignition source, could result in a fire causing property damage and/or personal injury. Correction: Dealers will inspect and, if necessary, replace the slide-out mechanism turn shaft threaded fastener.
On certain motorhomes, the battery cable is routed too close to a sharp edge that is located on top of a shelf installed over the driveshaft. This can cause abrasion damage to the battery cable insulation, leading to an electrical short and possibly a vehicle fire. Correction: Dealers will inspect and, if necessary, replace or repair damaged cables, and install an edge guard.

In addition, the transverse beam could drop to the ground causing sparks that could create a fire hazard. Correction: Dealers will inspect and, if necessary, replace the transverse beam assembly.

This could allow the release of pressurized coolant solution into an area where an ignition source is present, which could result in a fire. Incorrectly torqued steering arm fasteners may fatigue and fracture, possibly causing a crash without warning. Correction: Dealers will inspect fasteners and apply correct tightening torque.

On certain motorhomes, conventional travel trailers and fifth wheel travel trailers equipped with a Dometic Corporation refrigerator, a fatigue crack can develop in the boiler tube. This could allow the release of pressurized coolant solution into an area where an ignition source is present, which could result in a fire. Correction: Dealers will replace the refrigerator's boiler tube assembly.
On certain motorhomes, the electric entrance step control unit may develop a short which could ignite its plastic case. If this were to happen, personal injury and/or vehicle and property damage could result. Correction: Dealers will inspect and, if required, replace the step control unit.
On certain vehicles built on FCCC XC motorhome chassis, in a situation where multiple alarms are active, a Check Engine, Stop Engine, or similar warning indicator is given priority over the Low Air alarm by the instrument system controller software. If the operator does not acknowledge these higher priority alarms a Low Air alarm may not be displayed. This is a non-compliance with the low air warning requirements of CMVSS 121. Correction: Dealers will reprogram the Multi-Module Data Controller (MMDC).
