What we collect

FaultScore has no accounts and no logins, and asks for no personal information. We do not collect names, email addresses or payment details, because there is nothing on this site that would need them.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics to count page views and understand which pages people find useful. It sets cookies and records a truncated IP address.

Advertising

This site is free because of advertising. Google AdSense and its partners may use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. You can opt out of personalised advertising at Google's ad settings, or opt out of third-party vendors' cookies at aboutads.info.

The complaint data

Complaint records shown here come from NHTSA's public files. They contain the city and state a complaint was filed from, as NHTSA publishes them. We do not display complainants' names, addresses, phone numbers or full VINs, and we do not attempt to identify anyone.
