On certain motorhomes, the fasteners which secure the 20W solar panel to the roof-mounted air conditioner may loosen over time. This could allow the solar panel to separate from the vehicle and strike another vehicle, a stationary object, or a bystander, causing property damage and/or personal injury. Correction: Dealers will install locking nuts and apply thread locking compound in order to secure the solar panel.
On certain motorhomes equipped with a Norcold Inc. refrigerator, a fatigue crack in the section of the cooling unit which contains the refrigerant could allow the liquid solution to slowly leak. If a leak occurs and the refrigerator continues to be operated after solution circulation has ceased, hydrogen gas may be expelled and can be ignited. This could result in a fire, causing property damage, personal injury, or death. Correction: Dealers will retrofit the cooling unit with a thermal switch kit.
On certain motorhomes, the battery cable is routed too close to a sharp edge that is located on top of a shelf installed over the driveshaft. This can cause abrasion damage to the battery cable insulation, leading to an electrical short and possibly a vehicle fire. Correction: Dealers will inspect and, if necessary, replace or repair damaged cables, and install an edge guard.
On certain motorhomes, the rear suspension transverse beam may have been manufactured incorrectly. Should it fail, vehicle stability while cornering would be affected, possibly resulting in a vehicle crash with personal injury or death. In addition, the transverse beam could drop to the ground causing sparks that could create a fire hazard. Correction: Dealers will inspect and, if necessary, replace the transverse beam assembly.

This could allow the release of pressurized coolant solution into an area where an ignition source is present, which could result in a fire. On certain motorhomes equipped with a Diesel engine, the tow hitch receiver information label incorrectly lists the weight carrying capacity value of 10,000 lbs and tongue weight value of 1,000 lbs. The correct weight carrying capacity value is 5,000 lbs and the tongue weight value is 500 lbs. Correction: Owners will be provided with corrected tow hitch weight information labels and installation instructions.
On certain vehicles built on FCCC XC motorhome chassis, in a situation where multiple alarms are active, a Check Engine, Stop Engine, or similar warning indicator is given priority over the Low Air alarm by the instrument system controller software. If the operator does not acknowledge these higher priority alarms a Low Air alarm may not be displayed. This is a non-compliance with the low air warning requirements of CMVSS 121. Correction: Dealers will reprogram the Multi-Module Data Controller (MMDC).

Certain vehicles equipped with a solar panel for use on Polar Mach & Polar Cub "solar ready" air conditioners and heat pumps. During installation, the rubber well nuts may not have engaged the hole adequately to prevent them from being pulled out of the plastic shroud during normal use. Should the panel detach while the vehicle is in motion, it could strike another vehicle or a pedestrian, possibly resulting in personal injuries. Correction: Dealer will reinforce the solar panel with metal mounting brackets.
