On certain motorhomes, the cable for the transmission range indicator "PRND321" on the instrument cluster may be damaged by a sharp edge on the shift lever arm. If the indicator cable is cut, the indicator will remain in the "1" position (first gear) regardless of what gear is actually selected. With no gear indication, the operator may inadvertently select an incorrect gear, increasing the risk of a crash causing property damage and/or personal injury. Correction: Ford dealers will replace the transmission selector arm and indicator assembly.

The final design did not include the steel plate as required by the Standard. During a crash, stress can cause the attachment to tear and allow the anchor to separate from the body of the vehicle Failure of the seatbelt anchorage to restrain the occupant as intended would increase the risk of personal injuries during a crash. Correction: Dealers will install additional seatbelt anchorage reinforcement plates.

If a leak occurs and the refrigerator continues to be operated after solution circulation has ceased, hydrogen gas may be expelled and can be ignited. This could result in a fire, causing property damage, personal injury, or death. Correction: Dealers will retrofit the cooling unit with a thermal switch kit.

On certain vehicles equipped with Workhorse Custom Chassis, an incorrect steering intermediate shaft may have been installed. The incorrect part has a finer pitch spline. Use of the incorrect part may cause the spline not to match correctly with the steering gear input shaft. This could cause the spline to strip if the steering wheel is turned with a significant amount of force. This failure is likely only to occur when the vehicle is stopped or during tight turning manoeuvres at very low speeds. This condition may result in a loss of steering control. Correction: Dealers will replace the shaft.

Certain vehicles do not comply with the requirements of CMVSS 120. The Vehicle Certification Label states the incorrect tire pressures. At the stated pressure, the tires are unable to support the Gross Axle Weight Rating (GAWR) of the vehicle. The correct front/rear tire pressures are 105/95 psi. The incorrect labels read 90/85 psi. Failure to follow proper vehicle loading specifications and tire inflation recommendations can result in tire damage and vehicle instability. Correction: Winnebago will mail new certification labels and installation instructions to owners of affected vehicles.
