Issue: Under certain conditions, the antilock brake system (ABS) and the dynamic stability control (DSC) may be disabled when you start the vehicle. If this happens, the ABS and DSC warning lights will turn on in the instrument cluster, along with message center text to alert the driver. Safety Risk: If the stability control system and antilock brake system are disabled, there could be an increased risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Jaguar will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your vehicle to a dealer to update the vehicle with the latest software.

Issue: On certain vehicles, the engine crankshaft pulley bolt may have been manufactured improperly. This could cause it to crack and fail. If this happens, the crankshaft could break and cause a sudden engine failure. A driver may hear loud noises and see warning lights on the dash immediately before the engine fails. Safety Risk: An engine failure could increase the risk of a crash. Additionally, a loose pulley could separate from the engine and cause damage. If it separates from the vehicle, it could become a hazard for bystanders or other drivers. Corrective Actions: The company will notify owners by mail. In the event of a front turn signal indicator lamp Light Emitting Diode (LED) failure or failure of the headlamp module which affects operation of the front turn signal indicator lamps, the required warning needed to comply with the standard is not provided. This could cause the anti-corrosion coating to come off, exposing bare metal to the environment, resulting in premature fatigue failure causing separation of the joint. A separating control arm knuckle assembly could affect vehicle handling and stability increasing the risk of a crash causing injury and/or damage to property.
