Corrective Actions: To reduce the safety risk, Thor Motor Coach advises you not to use the generator until the recall repairs have been completed. If you need to use the generator, Thor Motor Coach recommends that you inspect it for hoses or wiring harnesses contacting the exhaust every time before use. Thor Motor Coach will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your motorhome to a dealership to secure the propane hose and install a heat shield. Any damaged parts will be replaced.

If this happens, the engine could stall and you may not be able to restart it. This can also cause the antilock brake system (ABS) not to work properly and the roll stability control (RSC) to turn off. Note: This problem may cause the check engine light and/or ABS and traction control warning lights to turn on. Safety Risk: A sudden loss of engine power could create the risk of a crash. Additionally, a loss of ABS and/or RSC could also increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Ford will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your motorhome to a Ford or Lincoln dealer to inspect the wire harness for damage. The dealer will apply protective tape over the area and ensure the harness is not touching nearby parts. Any damaged wires will be replaced.

On certain motorhomes equipped with Lippert Components Inc. electric entry steps, an internal bolt on the steps that attaches the fan gear assembly to the steps could fracture. This results in the fan gear disengaging from the steps, which could cause the steps to stop in an unexpected position and appear to be loose or unstable. If the steps become unstable, it could cause a person to fall, resulting in injury. Correction: Dealers will install a step retainer bracket to reinforce the operating mechanism, and all bolts of the mechanism will also be replaced.
