Tire size 235/45R-19 95H Vehicle began shaking and vibrating at highway speed. Upon inspection both front tires had the outer and inner edge tread separating from the tire. Ford dealership advised all tires be replaced.

TIRE SIZE: 235/50 R18 I was driving on the highway at approx 65 miles per hour in the far left lane when I heard a loud POP and then my car started driving weird. No warning lights came on in my vehicle prior to. I pulled over as soon as I safely could and when I stopped and got out. I realized it was my passenger rear tire that exploded. I called AAA and they put on my spare. The next day I was able to get my vehicle to an NTB. The associate there told me that my front passenger wheel also had side wall damage and that’s likely what caused my passenger tire to pop. He commented that my tread was really good on all my tires so it wasn’t the cause. Because it was two tires that needed changing I was recommended to change all four tires for safety reasons.

- The tire side walls blew out. There are several tears approximately 2-3 inches long. - It happened going about 55 and maintaining control of the car was difficult. My wife was broke down alone in an isolated area. - I took the tire to Twin State Ford in St Johnsbury VT where it was looked at by the service department. He commented that the sidewalls of the other tires were cracking. He confirmed there was a safety recall on the tires for the year make and model that matched my car but he said my VIN number was not included. Ford number 21S10 recall date 2021-03-09 - A few seconds before the tire blew out the low tire light came on. TIRES
I just had these tires replaced about 2 yrs ago and the front driver's side stated loosing air and upon inspection it is starting to shred. All 4 are doing this but not as back as the front one. This is a safety hazard if they were to come apart while driving it. The warning light came on stating low tire pressure. I only have 36744 miles on this vehicle.this happened on 7 /20/2022.. tire is in my possession but i will have to have it changed. Info is 235/45R19 95M MS DOT A3E6

The contact stated that while driving at an undisclosed speed, there was an abnormal sound coming from the vehicle. The vehicle was taken to the dealer where it was diagnosed that the passenger's side rear tire had a separated tread belt. The dealer informed the contact that her VIN was not included in NHTSA Campaign Number: 21V155000 (Tires). The passenger’s side rear tire was not replaced. Continental ContiproContact 235/45R19 95H on 2019 Ford Escape Titanium. Tires were factory original with approximately 35,000 miles. Approximately 4/32” tread remaining. DOT A3E6 47LB 0119 Was just turning onto the interstate on-ramp (from MD-543 SB onto I-95 NB) traveling about 15-20 mph and heard a large pop noise and the car begin to pull hard to the right. Pulled onto the shoulder. Upon checking, front passenger tire was completely flat. Replaced with spare and returned home. Further inspection of the tire revealed a 2” rupture in the sidewall. Tire pressures had been checked and verified (tires at cold pressure) approximately three hours prior to event. No TPMS warnings prior to event. Outdoor temperatures were around 35°F. No indication of other abnormal wear or damage.

The contact owns a 2019 Ford Escape. The contact stated that after receiving a maintenance check-up by her mechanic, she was informed that only 50% of her tread remained on all four tires. A few months later, the contact noticed that all four tires were shredding and that small holes had developed around each tread. The contact then took the vehicle back to her mechanic where they contacted the tire manufacturer. The tire manufacturer informed her that her vehicle was not under NHTSA Campaign Number: 21V155000 (TIRHotES). The dealer nor the vehicle manufacturer have yet to be notified of the failure. The vehicle had yet to be repaired. The failure mileage was 21,034.
