As a result, the battery could create smoke or heat, which can melt or damage the battery and nearby parts. Safety Risk: A battery that overheats can create a fire risk. Corrective Actions: To reduce the safety risk, Jaguar recommends that you charge and park your vehicle outside and away from other vehicles or buildings until the recall repairs are completed. As an interim repair, a dealer will update the vehicle software to limit the maximum charge setting at 90% until the recall repairs are available. I was exiting a parking spot and I had my foot on the brake to start the vehicle and again to put the car in reverse. I backed out of my parking spot and turned 90 degrees to exit the parking lot. As I pushed down on the brake to stop and shift to drive, the pad that covers the brake pedal fell off, causing my foot to slip and hit the accelerator. I then struck another vehicle with the back of my car. In looking at the car after the accident, the pad that normally covers the brake pedal was on the floor of the car, between the brake and accelerator. At the body shop, one of the people said there is supposed to be a clip that holds the pad, but it was either broken or missing on my car.

I own a 2020 Jaguar I-PACE with approximately 102,000 miles that is currently at a Jaguar dealership following a sudden failure to accept Level 2 charging in mid-June 2026 and has been there since. The vehicle initially showed fault code P0AA6-00, and the dealership subsequently replaced the 12V battery and charging module (440123457); after communication with the vehicle's systems was restored, they reported that 31 of the 36 modules in the high-voltage battery were failed or failing and that the entire battery requires replacement. My concern is that this may be related to the H570/H572 high-voltage battery recalls. My vehicle had not yet received the recall-related charging limitation software, and it had previously experienced a significant battery/electrical issue in June 2025 involving Restricted Performance, an isolation fault, and BECM reconfiguration/software that apparently resolved the issue at that time. The dealership is now attributing the 2026 failure to normal age-related battery degradation, but I find it difficult to reconcile that explanation with 31 of 36 modules reportedly failing simultaneously, particularly given the vehicle's prior isolation fault and the current recall's stated concerns involving internal battery faults, short circuits, and thermal overload. The dealership has told me they did not perform a thorough investigation specifically to determine whether the current battery failure is related to H570/H572, yet they have concluded that it is unrelated. I am requesting that NHTSA review this situation because I am concerned that a potentially serious high-voltage battery defect covered by the recall may have caused or contributed to this failure. In the meantime, they have quoted me $50,000 to perform a full HV battery replacement, as a potential option/resolution.

This vehicle is subject to NHTSA Recall 26V067 (JLR campaign H570/H571/H572) for high-voltage battery thermal overload risk. The recall remedy instructs owners to park and charge the vehicle outside and away from structures. My property does not allow for this: the vehicle must be garaged in a bay directly beneath an occupied room, adjacent to two other vehicles, and near the home's main electrical panel and gas furnace. There is no alternative outdoor charging location on my property. I am currently unable to comply with the manufacturer's own safety instruction for this recall, which leaves me either storing a known fire-risk vehicle against manufacturer guidance or unable to use the vehicle at all. The permanent remedy for this recall population is still under development as of this filing. I have submitted a written demand to JLR for repurchase and have received no substantive response as of August 4, 2026.

I am the owner of a 2020 Jaguar I-PACE, VIN: [INSERT VIN], subject to NHTSA Recall 26V067. The interim software remedy under campaign H570 has been installed on my vehicle, capping the battery charge at 90%. I reside in a designated fire hazard zone in Santa Monica, California, in a densely populated residential area. I contacted NHTSA directly on June 5th 2027 at appx 10:20 AM and was advised that it is still not safe to park the vehicle inside or charge it indoors, even after the H570 software update has been applied. However, the Executive Liaison at Jaguar Land Rover North America's Customer Relationship Center, Judianne Di Leo, stated in writing yesterday that, following the H570 update, all parking and charging precautions are lifted and the vehicle can be operated as normal. This directly contradicts the guidance I received from NHTSA. I submitted a formal repurchase request to [XXX] under the California Song-Beverly Consumer Warranty Act. Jaguar Land Rover North America denied that request in writing, with no explanation or legal basis provided. The permanent remedy under campaign H572 remains open and under development with no committed timeline. The air conditioning has failed, even after spending $8k to replace everything it still blows hot air intermittently. Also, there is a gearbox fault detection warning that has presented itself which i believe affects the cars ability to hold still at a stop. Nothing but problems with this car, and auto nation Ft. Lauderdale jaguar has no clue how to fix any of it although i have spent so much money. The car is like a lemon.

The vehicle has experienced repeated high‑voltage battery system failures consistent with the symptoms described in the current open safety recall for this model. The vehicle first displayed a “High Voltage System Fault” warning, loss of A/C cooling, and inability to charge. A dealer confirmed an HV isolation fault and documented an isolation reading of only 38 megaohms, which is far below normal and indicates a dangerous high‑voltage isolation breakdown. They replaced the front inverter (EPIC), the 3‑phase cable, and the high‑voltage cable to the battery. Less than a year later, the same “High Voltage System Fault” warning reappeared and the vehicle again became unable to charge. Today, May 29, 2026, a Jaguar Corporate Executive Liaison officially issued a written denial of alternative safe transportation (Case #XXX). The manufacturer explicitly claimed in writing that the vehicle is "safe to drive" and that parking it outside is "entirely my decision," directly contradicting active NHTSA Campaign 26V067000 (H570) documentation. JLR federal filings state that the final physical remedy (H572) is still under development and that instructions to park outside away from structures remain actively in effect.The manufacturer is actively misrepresenting the safety metrics of an uncorrected high-voltage battery fire risk to consumers.
