Safety Risk: A buildup of propane gas inside the trailer could create the risk of an explosion or fire. A buildup of carbon monoxide could result in carbon monoxide poisoning. Corrective Actions: Keystone will notify owners by mail and give you directions for how to use the VictronConnect app to check the battery voltage. This can help you ensure that the wiring for the solar controller is connected correctly. If it is not, they will ask you to bring your trailer to a dealer to correct the wiring. If the VictronConnect app shows that the battery voltage is over 14.4 V, you should disconnect the battery from the solar power and take the trailer to a dealer for service.

Corrective Actions: The company will notify owners by mail and instruct them to take their trailer to a dealer to inspect the wiring for the Solar Prep system. If it is not connected correctly to a circuit breaker, the wiring will be modified.
On certain travel trailers, the axles may not have enough grease on the inner hub bearings. This could cause the bearings to overheat and fail, potentially resulting in wheel lockup or separation. This may result in a loss of control causing a crash. In addition, a loose wheel assembly could strike another vehicle, stationary object, or bystander, causing injury and/or property damage. Correction: Dealers will inspect all hub assemblies. If there is insufficient grease and the bearings are in new condition, the bearings will be repacked, and the hubs reinstalled. If the bearings show any signs of wear, the hubs and bearings will be replaced. If the axle beam shows any damage, it will also be replaced.

Correction: Dealers will inspect to see if incorrect breaker was installed and replace as necessary.
On certain travel trailers, two carbon monoxide detectors were installed instead of one smoke detector and one carbon monoxide detector. This results in the vehicle having no smoke detector, which could increase the risk of injury in the event of a fire. Correction: Dealers will replace one carbon monoxide detector with a smoke detector.
On certain fifth wheel trailers manufactured with a Christianson Industries exterior foldable ladder, the ladder's mounting bracket could separate from the hinge due to an incorrect weld. This could result in the ladder separating from the vehicle, which if an individual were to be utilizing the ladder, it could lead to an increased risk of injury and/or damage to property. Correction: Dealers will install a hinge brace over the back of the existing hinges to secure the hinge and mounting bracket.
On certain travel trailers, the fasteners used for the floor decking may have come in contact with the propane cylinder cross tube during assembly. If this occurred, the propane manifold could have been damaged which could create a leak. A propane leak in the presence of an ignition source could increase the risk of fire causing injury and or/damage to property. Correction: Dealers will inspect and replace the propane manifold as necessary.

Correction: Dealers will inspect and, if necessary, replace the tires and/or certification label.
On certain travel trailers and fifth wheels, the Norco slide room mechanisms could be defective. The drive train that controls the inward and outward motion of the room could have been manufactured with incorrectly rated screws. If the screws were to fail, the slide room could extend while the vehicle is in motion, increasing the risk of crash causing injury and/or damage to property. Correction: Dealers will replace the defective screws with correctly rated screws.
On certain travel trailers, the wheel hubs may have been manufactured with defective wheel studs, which could cause a complete separation of the wheel(s) from the travel trailer and a loss of vehicle control, increasing the risk of a crash causing injury and/or damage to property. Correction: Dealers will replace the defective hubs.

On certain travel trailers, insufficient wheel hub bearing lubrication may have been applied to inner wheel bearings at the time of manufacture. This could cause the bearings to overheat and fail, potentially resulting in wheel separation. A wheel separating from the vehicle could cause a loss of control and a crash. In addition, the wheel assembly could strike another vehicle, stationary object, or bystander. These issues could result in injury and/or property damage. Correction: Dealers will inspect hubs and repack / replace bearings as necessary.
On certain fifth wheels and travel trailers, the electrical motor for the awning could become damaged, allowing the awning to unfurl unexpectedly. As a result, the awning could strike another vehicle, a stationary object, or a bystander, causing property damage and/or personal injury. Correction: Dealers will replace the awning motor.
