This could lead to a separation of the tie rod arm and cause a loss of steering control. Safety Risk: A loss of steering control could create a risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: The company will notify the owner by mail and instruct them to take their vehicle to a Daimler Trucks North America Authorized Service Facility to have the steering and tie rod arm bolts inspected to ensure they are torqued correctly. New fasteners will be installed as necessary.
On certain motorhomes, the electrical motor for the awning could become damaged, allowing the awning to unfurl unexpectedly. As a result, the awning could strike another vehicle, a stationary object, or a bystander, causing property damage and/or personal injury. Correction: Dealers will replace the awning motor.
