ELECTRICAL SYSTEM

Vehicle has stalled when moving slowly and making a turn or slight turn. In all cases, the engine shuts off, all displays (instrument cluster and infotainment display) go black, and power accessories such as windows, radio, ac are all off. No warnings or service lights have appeared in the instrument cluster. July 4, 2026, morning – Vehicle stalled entering an alley, moving slowly and turning. This occurrence did not involve stopping previously to the stall as the next two did. In this instance the engine started again on its own and power came back on, though ac settings were changed. July 4, 2026, afternoon – Vehicle stalled after stopping for cross traffic in a roundabout and then moving to enter the roundabout. It was necessary to completely stop the vehicle in traffic order to restart it (depressing brake pedal and pushing the start button). August 8, 2026, morning - Vehicle stalled after stopping at a stop light and then moving to enter the intersection and turning. It was necessary to completely stop the vehicle in traffic order to restart it (depressing brake pedal and pushing the start button). We have taken the vehicle to two different GM Service Centers to diagnose and resolve the issue. In both cases the service centers were unable to determine the cause, being unable to duplicate the situation. I enclose the service reports for both - Hallady Motors, Cheyenne, Wy 7/10/20236, and Tyrrell Chevrolet, Cheynne, WY 8/17/2026.

It was in the shop 9/19/24 for the screen going blank while driving causing a safety concern as was unable to tell how fast was going, screen slowly came back on and they found had internal fault and replaced telematics control module. All was fine until July 2026. Picked up from Glen Polk GM in Gainesville Texas 7/15/26 they state reprogramed radio, and USB file. The screen went out 7/19, 7/21, 7/29. 7/31 we dropped car back to dealership 7/31 and they kept it until 8/4/26. This time they state the repair performed reconfiguration update as they claim the previous update was corrupted. Today 8/14/2026 the screen blanked out again at 7:10am. I now have a new appointment for 8/19/26 at 10am. I have also opened a corporate complaint with GM.

The data screen for navigation has gone blank several times. A few times previously but 3 times in the past 2 days. The speedometer is viable but not the radio or navigation. Adaptive cruise control has occasionally alerted that it is not available & shuts off on its own. An alert yesterday stated power steering needs to be serviced but nothing is wrong. The car has turned off as I started to pull out into traffic & turned back on its self 3 times today. One time in the morning on my way to the gym at a stop light when it turned green when I went to proceed the car turned off and turn back on its self, leaving the gym pulling out of the parking lot pulling out into traffic it turned off & back on by itself & this evening after stoping at a store I stopped at the exit & when I went to pull out in traffic the car turned off & back on again by itself. Also the delay wipers do not come on themselves.

ELECTRICAL SYSTEM

I am writing to report a serious and ongoing safety issue with my vehicle. While I was actively driving in traffic, my car suddenly shut off completely without warning. This occurred while the vehicle was in motion, creating an immediate and dangerous situation. During this incident, the steering wheel locked up multiple times while I was driving, making it extremely difficult to control the vehicle and safely maneuver through traffic. This put not only my safety at risk, but also the safety of other drivers on the road. In addition to this, there are multiple mechanical and safety-related issues with the vehicle: •The driver’s seat is stuck and cannot be adjusted. •The front doors will not lock. •The back doors will not unlock. These issues significantly increase the risk of injury or harm in the event of an emergency, accident, or even while the vehicle is parked. Given that the vehicle shut off in traffic and experienced steering lock while driving, I do not feel the car is safe to operate. I am requesting that this matter be reviewed urgently, as this vehicle presents a serious safety hazard to myself and others. Please advise on the next steps for inspection, coverage, or resolution as soon as possible. Thank you for your prompt attention to this matter

2025 Buick Envista Elkridge, MD

ELECTRICAL SYSTEM

The vehicle’s infotainment/display screen (center touchscreen system) malfunctions. The screen flickers, freezes, becomes unresponsive, and frequently fails to connect. The malfunction creates a safety concern because the screen controls critical functions such as navigation, rear-view camera display, Bluetooth/phone connectivity, and vehicle settings. When the screen freezes or flickers, I am unable to safely access navigation or hands-free phone features, causing distraction while driving and increasing the risk of an accident. The issue has occurred repeatedly during normal vehicle operation. There were no warning lamps prior to the malfunction. Symptoms include screen flickering, freezing, delayed response, and loss of connectivity. These symptoms began intermittently and have progressively become more frequent over time.

What component or system failed or malfunctioned, and is it available for inspection upon request? Answer: The brake system failed, specifically involving the brake master cylinder and/or electronic brake booster assembly. The vehicle and affected components are currently available for inspection at a Buick dealership. How was your safety or the safety of others put at risk? Answer: The vehicle experienced a complete loss of braking while in motion. The brake pedal did not provide normal stopping capability, and the vehicle did not slow or stop as expected when the brakes were applied. This created an unsafe driving condition due to the inability to stop the vehicle using normal braking input. Has the problem been reproduced or confirmed by a dealer or independent service center? Answer: Yes. The vehicle was inspected by a Buick dealership following the incident, and the dealer confirmed a failure of the brake master cylinder and/or electronic brake booster assembly. Has the vehicle or component been inspected by the manufacturer, police, insurance representatives or others? Answer: The vehicle has been inspected by a Buick dealership. General Motors Customer Assistance has been contacted regarding the issue. No police report was filed, as no collision occurred Were there any warning lamps, messages or other symptoms of the problem prior to the failure, and when did they first appear? The infotainment system blacks out intermittently. The speakers will go out along with the infotainment. This has happened on several occasions I have pictures that are dated and time stamped. All the lights on the infotainment went out to include the odometer as I was operating the vehicle. I first thought the vehicle cut off then moments later the infotainment turns on and the speakers and odometer is working again. This has happened intermittently on multiple occasions. The vehicle has gone to the dealer 3 times but they are stating they can’t duplicate. So they can not fix it and issue is not resolved.

ELECTRICAL SYSTEM

To whom it may concern, I am writing to formally file a complaint regarding the safety and reliability of my leased vehicle. I have been experiencing ongoing issues that pose a serious safety risk. Approximately two months into my lease, I began experiencing electrical problems with the vehicle. The most concerning issue is the car's tendency to shut down unexpectedly while driving, which has escalated over time. Each incident has resulted in significant concern for my safety and that of my passengers, as well as for other drivers on the road. I visited the dealership to report the problem and get the car serviced but I was unfortunately met with unprofessional behavior, and was asked to leave the dealership without resolution. Despite my repeated attempts to address the ongoing issues, I have been unable to find a suitable solution. Additionally, the lack of available loaner vehicles has made it increasingly difficult to have the vehicle serviced. Driving a vehicle that is prone to unexpected shutdowns is not only inconvenient but poses a significant safety hazard. I am deeply concerned that continued use of this vehicle may lead to an accident, endangering myself, my family, and others on the road. Given the seriousness of these safety issues, I am formally requesting an investigation into these matters. I believe it is essential for this situation to be addressed promptly to ensure that necessary measures are taken to prevent accidents and protect consumers. Please let me know if further information is required to support my complaint. I appreciate your attention to this serious matter and look forward to your prompt response. Sincerely, [XXX] [XXX] [XXX] INFORMATION REDACTED PURSUANT TO THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6)
