My climate control system and airbags malfunction. This seems to be related to the UConnect system. My vehicle is available for inspection as needed. It has not been to a dealer for inspection yet, but an appointment is scheduled. The warning lamp that comes on as the climate control systems fails tells me the airbag system has failed.

[XXX] Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram, located in [XXX] performed an airbag recall on my vehicle. The vehicle was put back together incorrectly, and the headliner, rearview mirror, and sunglass holder are all hanging loose. The driver's line of sight is obstructed in the rearview mirror because of the parts hanging loose. I am too afraid to drive the car without knowing that the airbag was installed correctly. I spoke with the general manager of [XXX] Dodge, [XXX], and he will not take responsibility. My local Dodge dealership, York Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram, located in [XXX], has confirmed that the car was put back together incorrectly, but they said that Dodge will not pay them to inspect the airbag and correct the problems because they already paid the [XXX] Dodge to perform the recall. My car has been at York Dodge for a month because I refuse to pay for an incorrectly installed recall. Dodge and [XXX] Dodge in particular, are responsible for this. I cannot safely drive my car until this is corrected. I have attached a quote from York Dodge and they marked this issue as needing IMMEDIATE ATTENTION and the cost is $670.47. There has been numerous issues that affected my safety while driving and had to make costly repairs and replacements while on going. Alternator and serpentine belt broke out and all my coolant leaked out. had to stop in the middle of the street several Times by force having the abs, check engine light turn on having to turn the car off. Transmission shifter was so faulty I couldn’t pull out of park needing to replace it. Air leaks in the engine, electrical surges effecting headlights low beams I can’t see anything at night, dashboard and radio. The windows are has so much glare from sun light to other cars at night I almost cannot see ahead of me almost blinding me. The car constantly over heated. I’ve changed the battery, exhaust pipes, put breaks on it, ignition coils upper and lower intakes manifold but still proceeds to present me with a check engine light needing to unplug my battery to recent the car which turns off my eco system. Gas consumption is little to much at times The air bags light in the dashboard usually turn on constantly when adjusting the driver and passenger seat.

While parked in my driveway, the passenger rear side curtain airbag inflated on its own with noone in the car. The car cranks and operates correctly with no indication of a problem with the airbag system. This airbag had been replaced in September of 2025 due to a recall issued by Mopar. I have contacted Mopar and been assigned a case number.

The contact owns a 2020 Dodge Charger. The contact received notification of NHTSA Campaign Number: 24V198000 (Air Bags). The vehicle was taken to the dealer, who initially informed the contact that parts were not yet available. The contact was later informed that parts were available, but a technician was not available to perform the recall repair. The contact stated that later, while the vehicle was unoccupied, parked, and turned off in the driveway, the front passenger's side air bag unexpectedly deployed, causing damages to the upholstery. The contact stated that there was no warning light illuminated. A second dealer, Arrigo Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram of Ft. Pierce (5851 US-1, Fort Pierce, FL 34982), was informed of the failure but did not return the call. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and informed the contact that an engineer would inspect the vehicle. The failure mileage was approximately 59,000.

My airbag light comes on intermittently and when I called the dealership and told them they brushed it off as nothing. My car already had open recalls for the airbag and got fixed but it’s still having the same issues. I had the car since October of 2025 and there was no lights on when I financed it. The car has had 2 airbag related recalls done in 2015, 2019. Is there any way of getting my vehicle fixed by the dealership or manufacturer due to a safety concern of the airbag light randomly coming on. The dealership and manufacturer is claiming out of date for the work and it’s my job to pay for the diagnostic fee for the airbag light/getting it fixed.

While driving my 2012 dodge charger at times it pops out of driving going into neutral. It happens when I'm on the hwy or in town. And the air bags has illuminated on the dash and it is at the dealership, and I was told, I have to pay for everything out of pocket.To replace it, popping out of gear while driving and the airbags. The dealership is not going to warranty anything because it's past. It does it off and on, and I don't know when it's going to happen. Popping in and out of gear. Here in AZ we had some strong monsoon storms and during one last week, my car was shaken from the winds and rains so bad that my driver side curtain airbag was visible. It did not fully deploy but the bag was exposed. There is a current recall on these bags but since this happened before the recall fix(at the shop now getting replaced) should insurance have been contacted before hand since this was weather that caused the partial deployment? How safe are the replacements?
