I was driving my vehicle, 2015 Dodge Dart to get a regular oil change service back on XXX. The oil change service hub was only 10 minutes or so from my home. Upon arriving to the oil change location([XXX]), I was about to turn into the intersection when my vehicle had started to shake abruptly & my steering wheel started to wiggle left & right. It was very difficult to control my vehicle while turning with on going traffic coming my way. I was able to turn & safely park my vehicle. After the oil change my vehicle was able to be safely driven back to my apartment home. My vehicle has been parked in the same spot since this day & this day was the first time I had experienced this issue. The issue does flare up sometimes when I move my vehicle parking spots to avoid tow. I have contacted the Dodge dealership by my home via phone call & also via email in which I am regularly advised to check back again with in the following month as the parts or remedy is unavailable. Thankfully I have been able to manage my transportation priorities for work and other events for the past year this has been going on for. Recently it has added a descent amount of stress on everyday living & also putting a strain on expenses due to uber & rental reservations for transportation. On July 24th 2026, while operating my 2015 Dodge Dart, I was backing up in reverse and attempted to shift the vehicle into Park. During this normal shifting process, the transmission shift cable failed/broke, causing the vehicle to become stuck in Reverse and preventing me from safely shifting the vehicle into Park or another gear. The failed component is the transmission shift cable, which is the same component involved in the current safety recall for this vehicle. The failed part is available for inspection upon request and is currently with the dealership. This failure created a serious safety risk because the vehicle could not be placed into Park and remained stuck in Reverse. A vehicle that cannot properly shift gears creates a risk of unintended vehicle movement, inability to secure the vehicle when parked, and potential danger to the driver, passengers, and others nearby. The problem was confirmed by the Dodge dealership after inspection. The dealer verified that the shift cable had failed and that the issue involved the recalled component. The vehicle is currently at the dealership awaiting repair. There were no warning lights, dashboard messages, or other noticeable symptoms before the failure. The shift cable broke suddenly while I was attempting to shift from Reverse into Park during normal vehicle operation. The failure happened without warning and left me without a usable vehicle.

Recall Number A0C and NHTSA Recall Number 25V-674 has yet been addressed by the dealer or manufacturer. I contacted the dealership back in October of 2025 when learning about the recall at which time I was told there was no remedy as of yet. We are now in April of 2026 and there remains no remedy for a recall that imposes a risk of losing control of the vehicle's movement which ultimately will and can lead to a crash.

On 3/18/26 i reported a serious safety issue involving my vehicle, which currently has an open manufacturer recall with no available remedy. The vehicle has experienced multiple dangerous and malfunctioning conditions. First, the vehicle intermittently displays a dashboard message indicating that the vehicle is "not in park" even when it is clearly in the park position. When this occurs, I am unable to turn the vehicle off. I have had to wait approximately 15 minutes before the vehicle will allow me to shut it down.Second, while driving at approximately 40 mph, including while exiting the highway, the vehicle has stalled and completely shut off while in motion. This has occurred multiple times and created a significant safety risk due to sudden loss of power during active driving. Additionally, the vehicle frequently displays a message stating "engine warming, please wait to start," even when weather conditions are warm. Most recently, at approximately 70 degrees outside, the vehicle would not start and continued to display the message. I waited approximately one hour attempting to start the vehicle before it randomly started. These issues appear to be worsening. I attempted to schedule repair for the open recall, but I was advised by the manufacturer that there is currently no remedy available. Due to the vehicle stalling in motion and preventing proper shutdown and startup, I believe this represents a serious safety defect that puts me and others at risk.The vehicle previously experienced stalling while driving in motion. I brought the vehicle in for a recall repair on 01/27/25. #U90 2014-2016 at davis moore After the recall repair, the stalling condition improved; however, the vehicle began experiencing additional serious issues including the vehicle not recognizing the park position, inability to shut off, and intermittent failure to start with "engine warming" messages. When i want to turn off my car, the key gets stuck in ACC and does not turn to off. The key wont turn all the way off gets stuck, even though I am in parking. I saw that their is a recall for this and their is no answer for this yet or remedy I mean. The vehicle’s gear shifter intermittently locks in the Park position, preventing the key fob from being removed from the ignition. When this occurs, the shifter must be manually wiggled back and forth to release the key. Dodge has a recall U87 over pcm not letting car to start and many other problems i have a 2015 dodge dart sxt 2.4l MultiAir with same engine as the 2017 jeeps and others stated in the U87 recall and my pcm is going out my car will start intermittently and when the car won't start the pcm feels hot why are they not replacing the pcm in the 2015 and only 2017 and up when I'm having the same issue as described in the U87 recall, I need help with getting this fixed my car has same engine as the 2017 and up stated in recall and my car is having same problem as stated in the recall dodge needs to be accountable and fix all the pcm in every year that has the same engines as the 2017 cars in the recall it will cost me thousands to do myself for somthing dodge knew there was a problem with or they wouldn't of put a recall out for it but my year isn't in the new recall for the PCM replacement please help this is my only transportation. There was a W20 recall done on my car for a PCM update but didn't help anything and this recall was supposed to be for oil consumption either the update messed up my PCM or there is a bigger issue dodge isn't telling us that's wrong with PCM and come to find out the 2017 cars with same engine as my 2015 dodge dart has a PCM replacement for same problems I'm having with my 2015 dodge dart

My car keeps going into neutral when I’m going down the interstate or highway with my eight-year-old in the car and I have to pull over and restart the car for it to go anywhere. There’s no warning it just does it. It says there are no unrepaired recalls on my car I bought it used, but when I looked up the recalls for the car, there were five and I know at least three of them are wrong with my car. Is there anything I can do to get these fixed? I am a single mother and I cannot afford to have it fixed. Is there anyone who can help me? To recall, I’m pretty sure it is wrong. On other Dodge darts was the transmission control module or something like that and my car is doing the same thing only it’s saying I don’t have a recall for my car. This happens on a daily basis.

The recall was for the PCM, which is the powertrain control module. Dodge reprogrammed it, but now my mechanic is telling me it actually needs to be replaced—and I’m being charged for that. I don’t believe the recall resolved the core issue, and I’m concerned the repair wasn’t thorough enough. Every since July 12th, 2016 25,993 I’ve had this car checked for electrical problems at the dealership and they always say they can see the drain but they couldn’t help but the problem has been tracked down to the body control module #3 electrical that stays on drawing 1.5amps every second and surges and tons of other people have the same issue as me proof all over the internet also it leaks a ton of oil out of the pvc into the intake coating the map sensor making it idle rough

I have a back up camera as original equipment with the vehicle. For several years now, the camera will intermittently work. Many times, the camera comes on then quickly goes out. I have no picture to assist me when backing out of the driveway, the parking spot, or other situations. I need to crane my head, neck and body around to make sure the way is clear. I use the mirrors and even had my passenger get out of the car and assist in backing out of a parking spot. When I took the car to the dealership, I was told I would need to buy a new camera which costs hundreds of dollars. This week I found out there is a recall on Dodge, Jeep and Chrysler vehicles regarding the back up camera. However it does not cover the year of my vehicle which is 2015. I am wondering why my vehicle is not included. IS it because those model years are more likely not to be operating on the road??? Is it not still a safety issue? Please let me know what I can do. I like my car and it isn't junk yet.

Automatic transmission shifter cable bushing on transmission side failed for the second time. This is a recalled item for this make and model. It was repaired in 2019 but has failed again. Dealer told me they would not repair again. It’s obvious the material they use to make the bushing are prematurely failing do to heat.

The car intentionally starts. The radio sometimes works and sometimes has no power. It loses the air conditioner and power windows. It burns off excessive amounts of coolant. It smells like it is running hot but isn't. When turning key the gages bounce and it clicks and clicks. Sometimes it starts and other times it will not. Multiple people have stated the same issues. I was driving the other day dropping off food for a customer and as I shifted my car from park to drive it wouldn’t change gears. Now let me remind u I’m stuck in the middle of these strangers driveway as they’re trying to leave their home and I cannot switch into reverse so I had to keep my foot on that break pedal the entire time. Thank god they were very understanding ( because who knows what could’ve happened) and said they were leaving for something that wasn’t very important and would go another day. Come to find out it was my CABLE SHIFTER WHICH I HAD ALREADY HAD REAPIRED PREVIOUSLY AS A RECALL. I haven’t even been able to drive the car because it will not shift into any gear. It’s currently just sitting across the street in my apartment complex as I have no way to work or anywhere for that matter. I called the same dealership (I took it to the first time I had the recall done)as soon as the incident happend to see if I could just get it repaired AGAIN (which I shouldn’t have to) and they told me that there was no way I was gonna be able to drop my car off at the dealership because they were extremely backed up so it would take 4 WEEKS before they could have anyone even look at the car. I described what it was doing over the phone to him and he said it most definitely was the cable shifter. And not only that but he also told me that even with it sitting here or there they don’t even have the part to fix the vehicle at the moment.This isn’t even the least of issues with this vehicle that I haven’t even owned for 2 years.There were never any warning lights or anything that popped up on the dashboard.
