The fuel gauge in my 2015 Taurus/Interceptor is showing inaccurate fuel levels; it will show there is less fuel in the tank than there actually is, causing me to think I am possibly going to run out of fuel. Example: I will fill the fuel tank when the gauge reads 3/4, which should be around 5 gallons of fuel used. The amount of fuel being put in the tank is significantly less than what the fuel gauge shows.

The contact owns a 2018 Ford Taurus. The contact stated that upon parking the vehicle on a slightly inclined parking lot, the vehicle started rolling backwards. The contact engaged the electric parking brake, and the vehicle responded as intended. The contact stated that the failure had been recurring while parking the vehicle on an incline, requiring the electric parking brake to be engaged. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired by an independent mechanic or dealer. The contact related the failure to NHTSA Campaign Number: 18V141000 (Electrical System, Power Train); however, the VIN was not included. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and informed the contact that the VIN was not associated with a recall due to the manufacturing date of the vehicle. I am writing to report an unresolved safety recall for my vehicle. I received Safety Recall Notice 25V695 in October 2025, and as of today, the recall has not been resolved because the required repair parts remain unavailable. This recall involves a safety-related defect, and the extended delay in providing a remedy raises serious safety concerns. I have contacted authorized dealerships, and I have been informed that parts are still on backorder with no estimated availability date. Given the amount of time that has passed since the recall notice was issued, I do not believe this recall has been addressed within a reasonable timeframe. The ongoing lack of an available repair increases the risk associated with operating the vehicle under normal conditions. I am requesting that this issue be reviewed to ensure the manufacturer complies with its obligation to provide a timely and effective remedy for this safety recall. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

NHTSA complaint #11699439 — an unverified report by a vehicle owner.

The backup camera has failed. Sometimes it works, sometimes it does not. I have seen other reports on NHTSA here specifying the same problem. Visibility in this car is poor and is augmented by the backup camera. Car serviced by ford dealerships only. If left unrepaired, other drivers of this make and model 2013-2019 Taurus have an increased susceptibility to collisions.

No heat gauge, oil pressure gauge on vehicle. Blend door issue, one side blows hot, other cold. Radio not working. Weird noise in dash by ignition. Ignition sticks when trying to start car, keeps turning over. Dimmer switch doesn't work. Car can be tracked by unknown people, without permission.

Backup camera is appearing Upside down on display and sometimes inverted. When it gets dark outside, the backup camera has lines appear on the display so you can’t use it when it’s dark. This is a huge safety risk as to having the camera display upside down/inverted/not clear can cause major incidents.

In March of 2025 my vehicles driver assist lights started blinking coming out of my apt complex and within 15 seconds I couldn't even turn the wheels at all. Ive had several mechanics run their computer to diagnose the issue and was told that this make model and year has a recall for loss of steering which is an electrical issue. I called Ford themselves and they refused to even look at my car. I cannot find a mechanic who will even repair this electrical issue. Car is in perfect condition. Just replaced all 4 tires in January 2025 and oil change.

When putting my car in Reverse the back-up camera does not work properly. It either shows up and jumps screens to where you can't see anything behind you or make out what you're looking at. or the screen just goes black. It has not been looked at by anyone. There are no Warning lamps, signals or any other warning. The camera has been going in and out not working for over 6 months. I am worried that when backing up I might hit something or not see everything in view.

2011 Ford Taurus Limited 37'000 miles Original owner Like New Condition. Engine and all systems working perfectly no check engine or other lights showing. I was driving on city street about 25mph and with no warning engine and dash all shut down I had no crank and no dash lights at all. while I waited for tow truck dash lights did come on and anti theft light was flashing very fast. If I had been driving on Interstate 80 I may have been killed with all the Semi's that are always there. This happened August 7th 2025 It has been at the FORD dealership by my house for 25 work days and all they have done is checked the computer and said no power so replaced comp with rebuilt one and still no power so that is where I'm at. If you have seen this before please tell me ,they have no clue THANKS

Rear camera just went inverted and rear assist lines are not displayed. Dealer has not been contacted. This is a safety hazard while backing up. I have had no other issues.

The Rear View Camera has not been working properly for 5-6 years. Sometimes it works to display what is behind he car and at other times there is a blank black screen displaying a message that it's not working. The vehicle is out of warranty, and my local auto mechanic informed me that the cost to investigate and repair it would be very expensive, and recommended against fixing it. It does pose a safety problem, but we have become diligent in looking carefully in the rear view mirror and directly by turning around to ensure that there is nothing behind the car. Also, the warning "beeps" still works when in reverse. I noted that Ford has had many previous recalls regarding the back-up cameras, and wonder how my car has not been included. Please check if there are any recalls that my vehicle would qualify for. Thank you.
