When I drive my 2022 Hyundai venue, when I put it in reverse and the camera comes on, it works fine but when I go back to drive after backing out of my parking space, the camera is still visible from behind and the only way it goe off the screen is if I put the car in park and then put it back in drive. This has been happening for a month.

The soy-based coating on the harness surrounding critical wiring attracts squirrels who are keen to the scent resulting in wiring critical to the operation of the vehicle being chewed and malfunctioning. Not only is this repair expensive, but since one doesn't know it has happened, it is extremely dangerous when messing with critical components that affect the safe operation of the vehicle. Insurance has determined they will pay for the repair, but nothing is done to recoup the $500 deductible I had to pay, and the inconvenience of not having my vehicle for a long period of time. The replacement part is the same which means that this could happen repeatedly. . Hyundai refuses to compensate owners.

Upon purchasing the vehicle I noticed the windows do not go down and up properly but rather get stuck in both the down and up position. I consider this a hazard because I'm the event of an accident if the website is the only way out it does not operate and also when driving the ability to wind up your windows keeps you safe from dangerous persons who may be inclined to reach through the window to attack those in their cars

My car has been having electrical problems. First, airbag sensor caused every yellow warning light to go on. Now my infotainment center with maps either goes black or too dark to see all the time. Hyundai has an update for this infotainment center but they cannot update it. It will not update. I am driving relying on maps and all of the sudden it cannot be seen. Very dangerous. I had this happen on the turnpike getting off at an exit and had no idea where to go. There is a Hyundai USA complaint number XXX which has many pages of documents including repair and videos and photos of the problem. THIS IS A 2032 HYUNDAI VENUE WITH 21,000 MILES, ALL THE COMPLIMENTARY INSPECTIONS DONE BY HUYNDAI NORTHWEST IN HOUSTON. WE HAD TO CHANGE THE 4 TIRES DUE TO ABNORAL WEAR AND TEAR. THE NEW TIRES WERE PURCHASED ON NOV 2025. THE LAST SERVICE DONE IN HUYNDAI NORTHWEST WAS ON AUG 2025 WHEN HUYNDAI NORTHWEST SAID THE TIRES WERE OK WHICH IS A LIE. 2 DIFERENT TECHNITIANS FROM DISCOUNT TIRE AND SUN AUTO CONFIRMED THE UNSAFE CONDITION SEPARATELY IN NOV 2025.

My vehicle is experiencing engine challenges. My check engine light has been on for more that half of this year. I took my car to get a diagnostic , and it was returned reported as normal however the check engine light re-appeared. My car make a noise and does not accelerate properly. My driver door is missing a handle, there was never a handle, the screws to show a handle was placed originally, and one of my seat belts is not attached properly causing my back seats which can go down engage in frequent friction in order to realize seats down. My car is well under 100,000, and it would be completely unfair for me to stay in this faulty contract.

The Driver Attention Warning. A mandatory Manufacturing component that cannot be disabled. When driving in heavy traffic at highway speed unwarranted beeps and take a break warnings appear. To be sure this is a severe distraction to drivers and a complaint in my case Hyundai is failing to respond to. It is a distraction and needs to be taken care of with software upgrades that are possible but Hyundai is unwilling to take care. No matter the environment a driver will turn his/her attention to an alarm sound distraction could prove fatal in a worse case scenario. The complaints are abundant and hopefully no deaths have occurred yet. A recall notice to correct this function that is only required in Europe would benefit thousands to hundreds of thousands of drivers through out the US.

I have two serious complaints about this vehicle. I am 5 ft 2 in tall. The seatbelt consistently slides across my neck causing distraction while driving. One would think that manufacturers would have figured this out by now. Almost all vehicles do this to anyone under 5ft 3in tall. Can’t tell me that when they add expensive sensors the seatbelt adjustment would be all that expensive to fix. Also- I have three grandchildren two in car seats one rear facing. It is not safe for me to travel with all three in the backseat. If I’m sideswiped the older child will have broken hips there is simply not enough room. And when we put the rear facing in the back seat the passenger in front has to push up so far their knees are in the dash. Can we say”how about I eat that airbag?”

Owner brand new since may 2023. Few months later, beginning 2024 one day notice when need to use that horn went off by it own, when to the dealership to service, after wait for about 3-4 week they replaced,. All good until 5-7 months later around October 2024 once again NOT HORN AGAIN!!. Go back to the dealer they refuse to serve because on the Hyundai system it looks like it was made an mileage alterations, No way I buy the vehicle with 50 miles and the only place servicing the car is the same dealer, they went deeper and found that the DMV mistaken put that in the title when I get the new 2024 plate sticker, the DMV found their mistakes to not charge fixed but I have to wait about 4 months to get the title that said" Corrected" when finally get that, the dealership still can't see my car until Hyundai system marker fix, in order to do that I sent everything, is July 2025 and still waiting they fix that for the dealer for second freaking TIME do the replacement of the horn. THE HORN IS A SAFETY FEATURE!!!!! THIS MUST BE A RECALL at this point and they know that because is happening to every car since 2020. Never again I will own a Hyundai,. And still today July 1th 2025 I have NOT WORKING HORN. having the car and the first replacement still both in warranty

Blew horn at someone who cut in front of me, and horn sounded rough, then the same driver cut me off again, blew horn, NO horn. Also, headlight burnout issues. Had to replace the driver's headlight 39 weeks ago. Week or two after that, the left side went out, and about a month later, running bulb went out on passenger side. Well, the headlight just blew again, same day as the horn, just had to replace that again - $25 a pop at Auto Zone! I've read there were horn recalls on the '20-'22 models, just not on the '23...WHY!??? Electrical in windows not working as they should, very slow to stuck halfway up or down...unfortunately the only thing covered in a purchased warranty is electrical screens, radio, GPS, maps, cruise control, etc... And WHY are my headlights always burning out? Electrical issues for sure! There should be a recall on these horns for the 2023 model as well!

My 2022 Hyundai Venue has a serious water intrusion issue that has gone unresolved for over a year. Every time it rains water pours into the cabin, especially on the passenger side leaving the floor soaked. I have to vacuum out water daily and use towels to prevent further damage. The vehicle has developed severe mold, which is a health risk, especially for my infant daughter who rides in the car. When the dealership first inspected it, they said it was the sunroof seal and would take several days to repair. Since the part wasn’t covered under warranty, I wasn’t offered a loaner and couldn’t be without a car. When I returned later, they said it likely wasn’t the sunroof after all, as there was no water damage at the top. They also said replacing the seal would be risky. After running their water tests, they claimed no water was entering the vehicle, despite clear evidence of ongoing leaks. To manage the constant water intrusion, I’ve had to regularly shop vac the car to remove standing water, line the interior with towels, and place multiple DampRid bags and buckets inside the vehicle weekly to try and reduce moisture. This has become a nearly daily routine, especially during rainy weather, and the problem continues to worsen. The interior constantly smells musty and feels unsafe for me and daughter. I am very concerned that the repeated water exposure may have damaged the electrical system or affected the airbags, especially the side airbags located in the door areas. I fear these safety systems could fail in the event of an accident. This is not an isolated problem. I have found multiple reports online of other Hyundai Venue owners experiencing the same leak in the same area. This suggests a larger factory defect that Hyundai is not addressing. See attached. I am asking NHTSA to investigate this issue, as it presents both a health and a serious safety risk. This defect should be evaluated for potential recall to protect other drivers and passengers.

Position of accelerator and brake pedals is dangerous and potentially fatal. The brake pedal is significantly higher than the accelerator, often causing the driver's foot to slip onto the accelerator. Also, braking is difficult due to pedal placement that does not allow natural movement from the accelerator to the brake pedal because the height difference causes the driver's foot to hit the side of the brake, forcing driver to panic, lift leg high, and hope he hits the brake in time to prevent a rear-end collision. The dealer confirmed that the pedals are not adjustable, rendering the entire vehicle unsafe. Other Venue drivers have told me they have the same problem but no solution.
