Hi, There are numbers of recalls and 3 of the recalls came back. I got engine light with the codes U0402 Implausible Data Received From TCM U0164 Lost Communication With HVAC Control Module TCM BCM and PCM needs to be reprogrammed or replaced. Also car is accelerating while cruise control is set. Fca satisfaction notice - R01 Fca recall - S55 Nhtsa recall - 16V - 529 Fca recall - U63 Nhtsa recall - 18V - 332 These 3 recalls need to be redone. Thanks

FORWARD COLLISION AVOIDANCE: ADAPTIVE CRUISE CONTROL
A few times when I have used cruise control my car suddenly accelerates and takes me slamming on my break for a few seconds to disengage to slow down, almost causing me to crash into someone. I have not taken my car to a shop to have it looked at. There were no warning lights or messages when it happened

There has been two separate occasions this has occurred. The last occurrence resulted in a car wreck . The first occurrence I was driving out of a public parking lot and had feet on breaks and engine rived up and keep going into traffic but car saw me coming and switched lines. This second occurrence I was parking the car in a parking space with my feet on the breaks and the car rived up even with me hitting the breaks jumped the curb and i and the car ended up through the window of a store. No one was hurt but car damaged and in the shop for repairs. Police came to the seen and deemed it an accident. FORWARD COLLISION AVOIDANCE: AUTOMATIC EMERGENCY BRAKING
My 2015 Jeep Cherokee Limited has a parking brake issue. My parking brake will not disengage, the car will not move forward or back, the warning lights are lit up on the dashboard. My Jeep is inoperable due to this issue. This has happened before in parking lots, etc but I was always able to pull over and disengage. That is NOT the case this time as had the car towed to the Jeep Dealership and diagnosed as the parking Brake Module is faulty, the part is back oprdered for months and will cost over $1700 to repair.

Water fills up in the spare tire component which corroded the emergency brake box. I took it to the local Sunoco to fix they contacted Chrysler and was told to give the car back to me as is I should have it fixed by the dealership. My car is currently at a dealership and they’re telling me I have to pay $1600 for the repair. But if you Google this is a common problem with this vehicle.

BACK OVER PREVENTION: WARNINGS
My jeep Cherokee have a 4wd warning indication services need. It automatically shifts my power train to snow. Also when in park. The vehicle starts to go to neutral. Please recall this. I have a 2015 Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk. It has been in the shop many times due to poor manufacturing and recalls. Prior to me purchasing the vehicle in May 2020, it was involved with a recall for a water leak and powerlift gate short due to water damage. It has leaked water into the hatch/ trunk area since I purchased it. I have spoken with 2 dealerships about the issue. The most recent was November 1, 2022 when it was left with Rockwall Chrysler. My issue is that the Electronic Parking Brake Module was damaged to due heavy rain and the continued leak. On October 30, 2022, we were trying to leave in the cherokee and the Service Brake warning light was on as well as service shifter. The vehicle was stuck due to a malfunctioning parking brake. After multiple attempts, the brake disengaged and I continued to work. October 31, when I started the vehicle the following warning/ service lights were on and remains on: Service Brake Light (2 different lights) ACC/FCW not available / service Auto start/ stop unavailable/service Airbag warning light (went off 11/3/22) 4WD Unavailable/service On my drive home from work, the electronic parking brake engaged while I was turning across traffic and I almost was hit by a large delivery truck. Once I managed to get the vehicle to drive, it happened again on the highway service road and I was very close to being rear ended by an 18 wheeler that was driving behind me. The dealership did no repairs due to the $575.00 charge I cannot pay to diagnose and do a leak test. I explained this was involved with a recall and they basically told me it was fixed in with Canada or Ohio and I needed to return to that dealer (I live in TX). Which is not possible because the vehicle is sitting in my drive way and will not move due to the brake being stuck on. I picked the unrepaired vehicle up on 11/3/22 and was advised its best to get rid of as soon as possible. The problem is that I owe roughly $13,000 on the jeep. I cant afford this and a rental

this vehicle shows all recalls have been completed. however, every time it rains, the hatch compartment fills with water. 10/30/2022, my electronic parking brake light came on and the vehicle was stuck in park. Once we got the car home, I opened the hatch and removed the spare tire; there was standing water in the area from rain. This morning I was leaving for work an d the following lights came on; 1) Service 4WD 2) Service electronic Parking Brake 3) Service Airbags 4) Service Front Collision system 5) Service auto start stop 6) Adaptive Cruise Control not available 7) cruise/ fcw unab=vailable- service required This vehicle has been a complete nightmare. I did record the event as we used a shop vac to remove the water. the Service 4 wd light comes on and goes off randomly daily; the PTU was "flashed" but the problem continued. I have contacted the dealership only to be told all recalls are complete and I must pay for the additional repairs. I have contacted Jeep and have had zero resolutions.

Electric Emergency brake system will not disengage. Started my vehicle and it stated check parking brake and the red light was also on. I thought someone hit the brake button so I hit it and the light went off. I was able to drive my jeep a few feet to unlock the gate to our property. I put the jeep in park got out to open the gate and when I got back in the orange light came back on to check the park brake. I tried clicking it off and it would not go off. I then could not move my jeep forward or backwards. Because of this we had to have the jeep towed to local dealership to review. It is there as we speak. They told us looks to be the brake module. I will have documentation once the repair is complete.

Loss of power to all things electrical 10/10/2022. My son was left stranded in Memphis as a result, leaving him in a dangerous situation. The car was towed to a jeep/Chrysler dealership in collierville, TN on 10/19/2021. I’ve attached the invoices below and of the parts they’ve replaced. Before beginning work the dealership was unable to release the emergency brake x 2 days. It’s is January 4, 2022 & the car is still at the dealership still with no power. Their next suggested part is an ignition switch that is on back order. I’ve read several other reports concerning power loss abruptly in the jeep 2015 model. There were no warning lamps or symptoms of failure preceding the incident. Please evaluate the volume of complaints associated with this particular problem as I’ve read 100s of similar issue with this model vehicle.

FORWARD COLLISION AVOIDANCE: WARNINGS
Nearly all of the warning lights came on suddenly at the same time. Service parking brake, service transmission, service antilock braking system, service forward collision system and more. The vehicle then starts to have trouble shifting and sometimes acceleration is gone completely. I had to coast over to shoulder on the freeway multiple times. Turning the vehicle off and restarting seems to help somewhat and allowed me to get the vehicle home. Sometimes acceleration is jumpy (slowing down then speeding up again). I have had the vehicle serviced 3 times for this issue. First time they stated it was fixed with a software update. Second time they replaced a sensor inside the transmission, and the third time they replaced the PTU. All of these repairs and the $1,000+ I have paid for the repairs have done nothing to address the issue.

About 5 minutes later my brakes wouldn’t work at all trying to stop at a light and I ended up crashing into a car that was completely stopped while going about 35mph. My front collision detection didn’t go off until I was about an inch away from the vehicle and the automatic emergency brake didn’t engage either and normally if a car is turning slowly 30 ft ahead it will slam on the brakes. Nothing worked and I am terrified to continue driving this vehicle.

I SLAMMED ON THE BRAKES BUT THE CRUSE CONTROL WOULD NOT DISENGAGE. I THEN BEGAN PUMPING THE BRAKES AND STILL NO DISENGAGEMENT. AS I APPROACHED THE BACK END OF THE SEMI PRIOR TO HITTING IT, I DROVE OFF THE FREEWAY DOWN THE DESCENDING EMBANKMENT STILL PUMPING THE BRAKES WITHOUT DISENGAGING THE CRUISE CONTROL. A MESSAGE CAME ON THAT SAID ACC FCW WAS INACTIVE AND TO CLEAN THE FRONT RADAR SENSOR. HE WIPED AND CLEANED THE SENSOR. HOWEVER, THAT DID NOT STOP THE MESSAGE FROM CONSTANTLY COMING ON. THE DEALER WAS UNABLE TO REPLICATE THE PROBLEM. THE CONSUMER STATED EVEN THOUGH THE COLLISION BRAKING SYSTEM WAS TURNED OFF, IT WAS ACTING AS THOUGH SOMETHING WAS BEHIND HIM AND THEREFORE THE BRAKES ENGAGED CAUSING THE VEHICLE TO STOP.
