When owners complained

A spike years after the car went on sale usually means a part wearing out on schedule across the whole fleet — the kind of pattern no single owner can see from inside their own car.

Recalls on the 2025 Jeep Wagoneer

A complaint is one owner's allegation. A recall is the point at which the manufacturer or a regulator agreed the defect is real and dangerous enough to fix for free — however old the car is.

Canada — Transport Canada

Canada runs its own recall programme, and its campaigns do not always mirror the American ones.

Recall 2025467 8,535 units in Canada

Structure

Issue: On certain vehicles, the window trims on the front doors may not have been secured properly. As a result, the trim(s) could loosen and separate from the vehicle. Safety Risk: Trim that detaches from the vehicle could create a road hazard for others and increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: FCA Canada will notify owners in writing and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to inspect and, if necessary, replace the window trim(s).

Recalls cover specific build ranges, so check your own vehicle by VIN at nhtsa.gov/recalls or, in Canada, Transport Canada.

ELECTRICAL SYSTEM

For the past year I have been dealing with multiple vehicle failures with our 2025 Jeep Wagoneer. I have worked with my dealer a dozen times. Adnt he vehicle has been under service for roughly 13 weeks. Each time the dealership tells me the issue was a software update or they were not able to "recreate the issue". Our 2025 Wagoneer has been stalling out, shifting to park and then requiring a complete restart multiple times per week. This happens at low speed or at idle. On the afternoon of XXX, while driving the vehicle back from a different dealer for service of the same issue the vehicle stalled out completely on [XXX] just outside of [XXX]. Please see attached video. It is more than apparent that this vehicle is faulty and putting me and anyone else in my family that night drive this vehicle at risk. Over the past 7 months I have documented all issues and the dismissiveness of Herb Chambers Jeep Chrysler in Danvers, MA where we purchased/leased the vehicle from. Herb Chambers is stating I have to pay nearly $3000 dollars to exit our current lease. But, this is ridiculous as the vehicle is a danger to drive. Something bad will happen if our vehicle continues to be driven. And given the amount of time and energy I have wasted on trying to resolve these ongoing issues, Jeep/Stellantis, should actually pay me for the inconvenience. FORWARD COLLISION AVOIDANCE: AUTOMATIC EMERGENCY BRAKING

This happened twice but the second time could've caused a serious accident. I was turning left through an intersection and the vehicle on the opposite side of the road was turning left (we were going opposite directions) When the other vehicle got "close" to me (not close enough to crash) my collision assistance/automatic emergency braking stopped my car in the middle of the intersection with other people turning also behind me. I had to put my car in park and then in drive again to get it going. it was very scary and if anyone wasn't paying attention it would've cause a collision in an intersection which the safety feature was trying to avoid. I have since turned that off and only get visual alerts to brake.

STEERING

ABS and Stability control lights came on and I immediately lost braking pressure within 100 yards of warning lights and could not stop the vehicle and drove through a stop light. Fortunately there were no cars in the intersection. I also have had steering warning light as well as engine warning light. My Wagoneer’s engine stumbled and put itself in park at a stop light in another issue with the vehicle. The loss of braking force is most concerning safety issue to me. My car is only 4 days old and has already had numerous issues.

ELECTRICAL SYSTEM

With only 4811 miles on our Jeep Wagoneer, it had TOTAL BRAKE FAILURE causing my wife to drive thru a stop sign avoiding pedestrians. I had it towed by Jeep roadside assistance to St.Clair Chrysler Jeep in St. Clair MI. on [XXX]. A week later on [XXX] I was told to come pick up the car and that it was repaired. The porter went to move the car and again TOTAL BRAKE FAILURE. The vehicle was again repaired and when I went to get it, I asked if the brakes were guaranteed to work and no one would say that they were. This car model has a lot of brake issues and I can't have my family drive in it anymore, I traded it in on another new car but lost $14.000 in depreciation do to brakes. This is not my fault.
