Issue: On certain RV trailers, the wiring for the solar controller may not have been installed correctly. Under certain conditions, this could cause the 12 V DC electrical system not to work properly (including the carbon monoxide and propane gas detector). If this happens, you would not be alerted if there was a buildup of propane gas and/or carbon monoxide inside the trailer. Note: This recall affects trailers with a SolarFlex 200 or 400i system. Safety Risk: A buildup of propane gas inside the trailer could create the risk of an explosion or fire. A buildup of carbon monoxide could result in carbon monoxide poisoning. Corrective Actions: Keystone will notify owners by mail and give you directions for how to use the VictronConnect app to check the battery voltage. This can help you ensure that the wiring for the solar controller is connected correctly. If it is not, they will ask you to bring your trailer to a dealer to correct the wiring. If the VictronConnect app shows that the battery voltage is over 14.4 V, you should disconnect the battery from the solar power and take the trailer to a dealer for service.

Correction: Dealers will inspect all hub assemblies. If there is insufficient grease and the bearings are in new condition, the bearings will be repacked, and the hubs reinstalled. Certain fifth wheel and travel trailers originally equipped with white (spoke or modular design) steel wheels may have poor weld quality between the wheel center disk and outer rim. The wheels which have a six (6) hole bolt pattern were manufactured by Xingmin Wheel and bear the rim stamp "07 10 06 Z" or "08 10 16 B" on the back side of the rim. The poor weld could cause the outer rim portion of the wheel to fail. A wheel separating from the vehicle could cause a loss of control and a crash. In addition, the errant wheel assembly could strike a vehicle, property, or a bystander. Both problems could cause property damage and/or personal injury. Correction: Dealers will inspect the wheels for the specific rim identification markings and replace as necessary.
