my girlfriend had bought a car from a dealership in Pennsylvania and the car is registered in Pennsylvania at a dealer called premier world wide auto sales. when she had bought the car all four of the tires i believe should have failed pa safety inspection and the owner of this shop keeps telling me that they pass one hundred percent even though the tires have signs of dry rot all the way around all four tires and would not stop giving me problems and trying to prove me wrong the dot codes show that the tires in the front were 10 years of age and the rear tires at 8 years of age and showing signs of dry rot the tire size all around is 205/55r16 and this is completely unacceptable for a business that has been operating for as long as its been operating because all i can think about is how many other cars has this dealership sold with dry rotting tires nor did they show my girlfriend when she bought the car any of the work that had been done by the shop that had done the inspection prior she was told that everything on this car was great and that there weren't any issues when infact that was not the case i found a leak coming from an engine oil pressure sensor and a cv axle boot torn and flinging grease along with the tires with none of this being disclosed to my girlfriend who bought the car shortly after

I purchased two tires from Les Schwab in Molalla, OR on 1/15/25 in which upon them changing the tires they damaged one of my TPMS sensors and they did not replace it. I didn't have a warning light before I went in and now I do and they knowingly did not replace it when TPMS sensor service was part of purchasing the new tires. Instead they quoted me $451.96 to replace the sensors in all 4 tires other than replaced the one they broke. A set of TPMS sensors online cost $28, this is unethical of them to take advantage of consumers like this and they should be held accountable. If I'm not mistake it says in "49 USC 30122(b)" that "Prohibition.-A manufacturer, distributor, dealer, rental company, or motor vehicle repair business may not knowingly make inoperative any part of a device or element of design installed on or in a motor vehicle or motor vehicle equipment in compliance with an applicable motor vehicle safety standard prescribed under this chapter unless the manufacturer, distributor, dealer, rental company, or repair business reasonably believes the vehicle or equipment will not be used (except for testing or a similar purpose during maintenance or repair) when the device or element is inoperative." 205/55 R16

215/45R18 89V I bought a new 2024 Mazda 3 sedan Sport for my senior college son on [XXX] in Rockville, Maryland. In the evening of [XXX], during our attending my son's graduation in Nashville, Tennessee, on the highway to hotel, the front right tire was suddenly blowed out (air leaking quickly and completely). There was nothing on the highway, no object and no pothole. The cars in the front of us were just fine. My son only drove several thousand miles. We were very scared and our safety was threatened. My insurance Geico helped us to replace it with spare tire. We went to a local tire store at Nashville to replace the tire with BRI TURANZA EL440, and the new tire cost us $352.01. Our local Mazda dealer at Rockville Maryland asked us to contact Toyo for tire warranty, but nothing happened. We have kept the receipt. By the way, I googled new Mazda3 tire problems, and I found multiple complains on line. Examples [XXX] [XXX] INFORMATION REDACTED PURSUANT TO THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6)

DECEMBER 6, 2018 DEAR NHTSA, I HAVE A 2011 MAZDA 3 WITH FOUR (4) WESTLAKE RP18 205/55R16 91V RADIAL TOURING TIRES. I AM WRITING THIS LETTER TO NOTIFY THE COMPANY THAT AT LEAST THIS LOT OF TIRE OR THIS TIRE LINE IS STRUCTURALLY DEFECTIVE. I HAVE ATTACHED PICTURES ON PAGE 2. THERE ARE SEVERAL IMPLICATION TO THIS DEFECT INCLUDING BENDING OF TIRE SHIELD, EASY PUNCTUATION AND EASY BLOW-OUT. ALL OF THESE INSTANCES CAN LEAD TO TRAFFIC ACCIDENTS AND EVEN DEATH. FOR INSTANCE, RECENTLY ROAD OBSTRUCTIONS PUNCTURED BOTH OF MY 2 BACK TIRES. THESE TIRES WERE FLAT WITHIN 30 MINUTES WHILE I WAS OUT SHOPPING AND A 20 MINUTES DRIVING DISTANCE FROM MY HOME. I PURCHASED A FOOT AIR PUMP TO PUT ENOUGH AIR IN MY TIRES TO TRAVEL ONE BLOCK AWAY TO THE AUTO SHOP TO REPLACE BOTH TIRES. FURTHERMORE, I DROVE AT SPEEDS ON THE HIGHWAY AT LESS THAN 20 MPH (MILES PER HOUR). AT THE STORE THEY REMOVED THE TIRE AND IDENTIFIED THE OBSTRUCTIONS, HOWEVER, THE TIRES EXPLODED VERY EASILY. THESE TIRES CAN BE PURCHASED FROM WAL-MART AND AMAZON FOR $44.24 EACH OR $176.96 FOR 4 TIRES ONLINE. I THINK THESE TIRES SHOULD BE RECALLED AND THIS MATTER PURSUED VIGOROUSLY PARTICULAR BECAUSE OF THE UPCOMING 2018 HOLIDAY TRAVEL SEASON. ON OCTOBER 16, 2018, I MAILED A CORRESPONDENCE LETTER TO TIRECO INC., SUPER-REPRESENTATIVE OF WESTLAKE TIRE. THE LETTER IS LISTED ABOVE. THIS MAIL WAS CERTIFIED WITH THE UNITED STATES POSTAL SERVICE UNDER CODE: 7018 0680 0000 5488 3046. I HAVE NOT RECEIVED A RESPONSE FROM THE COMPANY. AS STATED ABOVE, I BELIEVE THESE TIRES ARE STRUCTURALLY DEFECTIVE AND NEED TO BE RECALLED. SINCERELY, [XXX] INFORMATION REDACTED PURSUANT TO THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6).

I WAS DRIVING ON THE HIGHWAY WHEN I HAD A COMPLETE LOSS OF AIR PRESSURE WHILE TRAVELING AT APPROXIMATELY 60 TO 65 MPH NEARLY LOSING CONTROL MY MY VEHICLE. I WAS ABLE TO SAFELY PULL OFF THE HIGHWAY AND EXAMINE MY TIRE, AND SAW THAT MY VALVE STEM WAS COMPLETELY MISSING FROM THE FRONT LEFT WHEEL. UPON CLOSER INSPECTION, IT APPEARS THAT THE WHEEL THREADS SHOWS SIGNS OF CORROSION WHICH MAY HAVE RESULTED IN THE TPMS MONITOR AND VALVE STEM BREAKING OFF.
