On certain vehicles, the fuel pressure sensor may not have been tightened properly when the corrective measure of recall 2012-074 was performed. As a result, the fuel pressure sensor may loosen over time, which could cause a fuel leak. A fuel leak in the presence of an ignition source could result in a fire causing injury and/or damage to property. Correction: Dealers will inspect and retighten the fuel pressure sensor as necessary.

On certain vehicles, a weld at the boost sensor bracket may fail, allowing the bracket to separate from the air inlet tube. If this occurred, the engine would enter fail-safe driving mode, resulting in reduced motive power in which the vehicle could still be driven for short distances. Continued operation could cause the engine to stall which, in conjunction with traffic and road conditions, and the driver's reactions, could increase the risk of a crash causing property damage and/or personal injury. Correction: Dealers will inspect and, if necessary, replace the air inlet tube assembly.

AS I WAS COMING TO A STOP AT THE APPROACHING RED LIGHT, MY CAR COMPLETELY CUT OFF. IT WAS NOT ENOUGH TIME TO TURN ON HAZARDS OR SIGNAL ANY APPROACHING CARS SO THE CAR CAUSING THE CAR BEHIND ME TO HIT INTO THE BACK OF MY BUMPER. THE HIT CAUSED SOMETHING TO FALL OFF THE TOP OF THEIR CAR AND MAKE A SMALL CRACK ONTO MY DRIVER TAIL LIGHT. THE CAR STOPPED BECAUSE IT WAS COMPLETELY OUT OF GAS, EVEN THOUGH THE GAS METER READ THAT THERE WAS MORE THAN A QUARTER TANK OF GAS IN THE CAR. THERE WAS A RECALL ON MY VEHICLE FOR THE FUEL SYSTEM NOT READING CORRECTLY, WHICH I HAD MY CAR TAKEN INTO THE NISSAN DEALERSHIP IN JULY, WHERE THEY SPENT 3 HOURS "CORRECTING" THE PROBLEM. HOWEVER, THE PROBLEM WAS NOT FIXED CORRECTLY AS HAVING NO GAS IN THE CAR (EVEN THOUGH THE METER SAID I HAD GAS) CAUSED MY CAR TO STOP IN THE MIDDLE OF A BUSY STREET, WHICH IN TURN CAUSED MY DAUGHTER AND MYSELF TO BECOME INVOLVED IN A CAR ACCIDENT.

The contact owns a 2011 Nissan Juke. The contact received notice of NHTSA Campaign Number: 18V156000 (Fuel System, Gasoline). The contact stated that on several occasions while driving up hills, mostly at approximately 30 MPH, the vehicle jerked and lost power. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic where it was diagnosed that the fuel pump needed to be replaced. The contact stated that on other occasions when gas was added to the vehicle and the vehicle began driving at various speeds, the vehicle stalled. The vehicle was then taken to a dealer where the failure could not be replicated. The contact added that on several occasions while parked, the vehicle did not start. The vehicle was taken to a dealer where the failure could not be duplicated. The vehicle was then taken to a dealer after being notified of the recall associated with the vehicle to have the recall repaired, but the dealer stated that they did not have the right tools to make the repair. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was unknown.

My 2011 nissan juke has approximately 118,000 miles and I've ran out of gas several times even when it said there was 88 miles left in the tank and the traction control light won't go off it stays on constantly along with the check engine light and tire pressure warning light and its making a squealing noise and its losing power I've only had it a year I know they have been recalled for certain reasons but I'm not sure if this car has been fixed or not i can't afford to get it fixed due to health and medical bills including hospital bills from when my wife passed away I'm finding several issues people have had with the jukes why isnt nissan extending the recalls because for people who buy them from private people dont know if the car has been recalled or fixed its very unsafe I've lost power while driving at 45 miles an hour because it ran out of gas even when it displayed 88 miles left my car needs fixed and its expensive I had to replace the ball joint and was told it was going to be almost 700$ or it wouldn't pass inspection this car has turned into a money pit i can't even resell it i need help getting it fixed please

I bought this car LATE 2019, from a used dealership. I WAS ON THE FREEWAY ON MY WAY BACK FROM A 1 1/2 HR DRIVE. AND THE CAR SUDDENLY STOPPED ACCELERATING.! I WOULD PUSH DOWN ON THE GAS PETAL AND NOTHING. FREEWAY WITH TRAFFIC. IT WAS SO SCARY! THE CARS BEHIND ME ALMOST HIT ME! I MANAGED TO PUT ON MY HAZARDS LIGHTS ON AND PULLED OVER. THEN WAITED A WHILE, AND THEN TURNED IT BACK ON AND IT WORKED. THEN IT HAPPENED AGAIN. AN SO ON UNTIL I MADE IT BACK HOME, MY 1 HOUR DRIVE TURN INTO 3HRS BECAUSE I KEPT PULLING OVER., UNTIL I GOT INTO THE NEAREST TOWN TO A AUTOZONE TO CHECK IT. Transmission has a problem with overheating on any trip longer than an hour, leading to the car going into limp mode and being unable to maintain speeds and/or climb any high % grade. This has happened to me multiple times, leading to an immediate loss of power and the need to pull over and park on mountain roads to avoid rolling backwards. This is a known issue on juke forums, and nissan themselves have code read countless cars with the CVT transmission being the issue.

The timing chain rattled, wearing a hole in the timing cover causing oil leak. After driving my car and parking it, all of the oil leaked out on to the ground. When trying to drive the car, even before the oil leak, the car would completely shut off whenever I would slow down, including in the middle of intersections. After taking it to a mechanic, they told me that the timing chain had worn a hole in the timing cover, and a Nissan dealership service shop told me that I would need to get the engine replaced. Even before all of the oil leaked out, I was put in great danger not knowing when my car would shut off when driving it and slowing down. At one point, the service engine soon light came on, but it went away and the car drove like normal for a period before the oil leaked out. I was never informed about any recalls or service notices when I bought the car or when getting it routinely serviced.
