The vehicle was sold with an outdated battery and later experienced repeated breakdowns. During the first repair visit, the dealership replaced the battery and alternator but failed to identify the root cause of the problem. The vehicle was returned, but the next day it broke down again. Upon inspection, it was discovered that the wiring harness was severely burnt and melted, creating a significant safety hazard that could cause stalling, fire, or total electronic failure. The dealership later diagnosed a PCM failure, which was not detected during the first repair visit. The wiring damage and PCM issue were not disclosed to the vehicle owner by the dealership, and there was no explanation provided for the cause. The problem has been confirmed by the dealership during the second visit, and photographs of the wiring damage are available. The electrical system and engine control were compromised, placing the driver and others at risk of sudden vehicle failure while driving.

There a problem with car stalling and dying because of power being lost to tcm because of tipm. Dealer had my car for 7 weeks and $1900 changing tcm and problems still exist. Didn't even make 10 miles from dealership. Very dangerous

Unknown, but based on what I've read and seen others describe happen to them I would say it's somehow connected to the park assist. But my battery loses voltage while driving, the car will start blowing hot or cold air which ever it prefers at the time without any heating or cooling system being turned on, the dash goes crazy the rpms, speedometer and everything else will drop to zero the transmission will start jerking and the service park assist warning will flash on and off repeatedly very fast then the car died while driving on the highway and refused to start even with a jump start. Replaced the battery twice in 2 weeks and the alternator as well and the car continues to do this randomly. No codes show up but the abs light, esp bas lights are on, the brake light will come on every now and then without the brake being pressed and the car seriously just seems to have a mind of it's own.

POWER TRAIN:AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION:CONTROL MODULE (TCM/PCM/TECM)
The contact owns a 2014 Chrysler 300C. The contact stated while driving 50 MPH, the vehicle lost motive power. The check engine warning light was illuminated. The vehicle was towed to the residence. An independent mechanic replaced the fuel pump and the fuel pump relays at the residence and informed the contact that the PCM needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The dealer was made aware of the failure and referred the contact to the manufacturer. The contact stated that the vehicle was previously repaired under NHTSA Campaign Numbers: 18V332000 (Electrical System, Vehicle Speed Control) and 19V018000 (Air Bags), as well as Emissions Recall: UB4 (Evaporative Emissions Canister). The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 190,000.

Vehicle stalls when idling or coming to a stop, mainly at low RPM. No codes are thrown. Gas tank has been replaced and fuel pump is new, still stalls. There are many reports on the Chrysler 300 Forum regarding the same situation. Many people have thrown good money after bad towards parts and still there's issues. I have my car at the Moss Bros Dealership in Riverside Ca. now for 5 days to try and repair this Safety Issue! 3/28/23. Car has stalled approximately 20 times, 4 times which were on the freeway. The car will start up and run fine for several days and then it acts up. Could be a number of things, but with no codes, pretty hard to diagnose the stalling issue.

My 300 has a glitch that causes me to put in neutral then back in drive I'm guessing because of a limp mode, I've had it worked on many times at the dealer in the 3 years I've owned it and spent thousands of dollars and not fix the problem. When the fuel tank is topped off the vehicle stalls 2-6 times until the excess fuel is burned off. This has happened on the road, in parking lots, intersections, etc. It causes total loss of power & power steering. Additionally, I usually have to shift to Park, Neutral, Reverse, Drive, Reverse, and then drive again in order to get the transmission to lock back in forward gearing. Causing me to have to additionally pull over, or stop, when/wherever the incident occurs.

The contact stated that the failure also occurred while the vehicle was idle. After each failure, the contact was able to restart the vehicle after several seconds. The vehicle had been taken to several dealers and independent mechanics for diagnostic testing however, the mechanics were unable to determine the cause of the failure. Several unknown repairs were made, and several parts were replaced; however, the failure persisted. The contact researched and found that similar vehicles were experiencing failure. The manufacturer was contacted and notified of the failure but provided no assistance. The approximate failure mileage was 200,000.
