My 2018 Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid has developed a progressively worsening creaking noise from the front left suspension. It began two years ago occurring only occasionally when accelerating from a full stop or exiting a driveway, and has since become constant under most normal driving conditions including acceleration, deceleration, and slow turns in either direction. The vehicle has approximately 35,000 miles and has been driven exclusively on regular paved roads with no off-road or unusual use. The pattern of gradual degradation on a low mileage vehicle suggests a corroding or deteriorating structural component rather than impact damage. An authorized Chrysler dealership recommended replacing both lower control arms at approximately $3,300, framing this as necessary to continue diagnostics rather than a confirmed repair. No specific component was isolated as the cause. This is directly relevant to Recall V15 (NHTSA 19V143000), issued for right front lower control arm ball joint separation on 2018 Pacifica and Pacifica Hybrid vehicles, which could cause loss of directional control without prior warning. My vehicle was excluded from that recall despite exhibiting similar symptoms on the left side. Two documented owner reports establish safety relevance. SUSPENSION
My 2018 Pacifica Hybrid suffered a catastrophic suspension separation while driving—the exact failure described in Safety Recall V15. The driver fortunately arrived at home safely only seeing smoke coming out form the tire rubbing against the wheel hood. Although my VIN isn't showing as 'active,' this is clearly a safety defect. I would like to open a case for a Goodwill Repair or a 'Special Policy' adjustment because this is a known dangerous failure.

The contact owns a 2021 Chrysler Pacifica. The contact stated that while driving approximately 30 - 35 MPH, there was an abnormal rattling sound coming from the wheel well or near the front underbody near the air dam, as if there was a piece of ice stuck in the air dam. The vehicle was taken to the dealer, who diagnosed that the front wheel hub hardware was loose, affecting the wheel bearings, and causing the failure. SUSPENSION
The front driver's side tire on my 2023 Chrysler Pacifica (77600 miles as of 12/1/25) has started making a loud rumbling sound regardless of my speed. This is happening when I turn the wheel from left to right and occurring every time I am driving. There are no warning lights on the dashboard. I had a mechanic evaluate the tire while on racks in the air and was shown the tire visibly rapidly bouncing and vibrating as the wheel was turned left to right. I am terrified to drive my van alone or with my family as the rumbling sound is heard loudly and consistently inside the van. This is my only mode of transportation and I am gravely concerned the wheel may indeed fly off the car and as a precaution I am driving slower than the speed limit on roads causing other drivers to become frustrated and close to hitting the back of my van. I need this issue addressed immediately to ensure the safety of everyone.

SUSPENSION
When taking turns the steering "sticks" amd it takes extra physical force to "unstick" the car. While unsticking by turning the steering wheel harder than normal, it either crosses into uncoming traffic or runs off the shoulder. SUSPENSION
The contact's mother owns a 2026 Chrysler Pacifica. The contact stated that while his mother was driving 30-35 MPH on a well-maintained road, the front passenger's side of the vehicle suddenly lowered, and the driver lost control of the steering wheel, causing the rear passenger's side of the vehicle to strike a curb, and the vehicle was pushed towards the left, near oncoming traffic. The contact stated that the vehicle nearly rolled over prior to coming to a stop. The driver was able to exit the vehicle. A Police Officer arrived at the scene and redirected traffic away from the vehicle, but no Police report was filed. There was no injury sustained. The contact stated that upon meeting his mother at the scene, the contact inspected the vehicle. The contact noticed that the front passenger's side lower control arm ball joint had fractured sharply, separated, and had gone sideways. The vehicle was towed to an Auto Collision repair shop. SUSPENSION
My 2018 Chrysler Pacifica has ongoing electrical problems that match the same symptoms described in existing recalls, but my VIN is not included in those campaigns. The issues began around 08/30/22. The vehicle has experienced stalling, electrical shutdown, dashboard warning lights, loss of power steering issues, failure of the start-stop system, dead batteries, loud creaking, popping, squeaking noises from the front suspension, especially when turning, backing up, steering lock, or going over bumps. These events began in 2021 and continue despite numerous repairs at mechanics and dealerships. Despite repairs and inspections, the problems continue. I have reviewed NHTSA recalls and found recall numbers 18V524000, 20V334000, 19V143000 as well as battery ground recall for 2017–2019 models, and my vehicle’s problems are identical to those safety issues. The dealer confirmed that my VIN is not covered, so I have been responsible for repair costs. These defects create a serious safety hazard, especially when the vehicle stalls or loses power while driving. It places my family and other drivers at risk of a crash. We have been stranded on highways and in the center of busy intersections due to loss of power. I strongly request that NHTSA investigate whether the existing recalls should be expanded to include additional VIN ranges, since many 2018 Pacifica owners (myself included) are experiencing the same electrical failures. I have had the vehicle inspected/repaired on: 4/15/21, 9/15/22, 10/2/23, 11/22/23, 8/10/24, 7/21/25, 8/7/25, 9/23/25 for battery ground, electrical module replacement, wiring repair, and strut repairs. The issues persist despite these attempts.

SUSPENSION
of all the issues, I want to bring attention to 2 very serious ones. 1) Engine has transmission issue. Auto Shifting of gears give constant jerks and this was never resolved. Chrysler has always avoided this as it's a very expensive fix. Have taken to several different dealerships in 2 different states. (NJ & TX) 2) Coolant leaking. This ends up becoming an engine problem that they don't fix.

SUSPENSION
I purchased this Chrysler Pacifica from advantage auto sales in new Kensington pa. Making payments obviously but I have had nothing but issues since we got it. Now it’s up at #1 Cochran and they did a exam and they sent me a video and the transmission is bad, (which when I got the vehicle I been saying something is wrong with the transmission, took it to the garage they kept telling me to take to for now 3rd gear to be grinded out. Head gaskets went in it as well they kept it for over 2 months to not even put parts back together properly, axle is bad. Leaking oil somewhere where still , this fan flapper thingy in the front is bad and been since day 1 there is a bad sensor on it which they told me they fixed and clearly didn’t. I have had nothing but issues on this vehicle since I got it. It sees more garages than it does outside. I have 4 kids. Making a lot of trips to doctor appointments and such.. so I need a vehicle, they don’t care. I went to the dealer yesterday and they just told me to take it to another place to get the transmission rebuild or whatever but I feel that isn’t going to fix it and I’m just gonna have more issues in the long run. Can you guys help me at all ?! I need something done. My warrenty is up soon and they only cover 8,000 of the tranny and it’s a 10,000 tranny.

While driving at various speeds, it was difficult to stay in the intended lane. The Lane Sensing feature was loose and failed to the vehicle failed to steer correctly.
