2024 Ford Bronco Sport fuel system problems

I purchased a new 2024 Ford Bronco Sport on XXX from Sayville Ford in [XXX]. They failed to disclose an unremedied safety recall (24V-267) on the vehicle that was issued on XXX and still sold me the vehicle. When I went back to them after seeing that there was a recall on the car, they denied the existence of the recall despite me showing them the recall notice on both the NHTSA and Ford websites. Last year there was another safety recall for leaking fuel injectors (25V-467) that I brought my car in for service, and they claimed to have done a software fix. Upon checking the recall checked on the NHTSA website (6 months after service) it lists that the safety recall work was never performed, despite the dealership keeping my car for the entire day and telling me the work was performed. This dealership has been evasive and deceptive when I have confronted them about these issues and should be examined and fined for their practices. On August 10, 2026, I conducted a recall search on NHTSA website for my 2024 Bronco Sport Big Bend edition. The search showed the following recall : JUL 16, 2025 Manufacturer Recall Number 25S76 NHTSA Recall Number 25V467 Recall Status Recall Incomplete, remedy not yet available Summary ON YOUR VEHICLE THERE IS A POSSIBILITY THAT A FUEL INJECTOR MAY CRACK, WHICH MAY RESULT IN FUEL ACCUMULATING ON THE TOP OF THE ENGINE. Safety Risk LIQUID FUEL AND OR FUEL VAPOR THAT ACCUMULATES NEAR A HOT SURFACE, SUCH AS HOT ENGINE OR EXHAUST COMPONENTS MAY IGNITE RESULTING IN AN UNDER-HOOD FIRE, INCREASING THE RISK OF INJURY. Remedy PARTS ARE NOT CURRENTLY AVAILABLE. FORD MOTOR COMPANY IS WORKING TO PROVIDE PARTS FOR THIS REPAIR. I am very concerned because I have a letter dated August 2025 about this recall and nothing has been done yet. If something happens while I’m driving my car, I could have an under hood fire, resulting in risk of injury to myself or others in the vehicle. January 10, 2026. My battery abruptly stalled. It was charged drove a few feet in the car just stopped. The car was towed, and the battery was deemed faulty and needed replacement. May 10. The engine coolant light came on. The car would turn on and then abruptly stalled. Mid traffic. The car again was towed and it was deemed had a faulty coolant pump. I asked for the fuel injection system to be looked at and they said my card does not have a Vin recall. These two prior issues established the fact that something is wrong with my vehicle and should have been included in the main Ford recall. I would like my VIN number added for the safety of my car and to be able to get the updates necessary for the fuel injection cracks that occur in this year bronco. The dealership is refusing to do this.

My 2024 Ford Bronco Sport has had an open unrepaired safety recall (Ford 25S76 / NHTSA 25V467) for about 10 months. The recall states that a fuel injector may crack and create an under-hood fire risk. There is still no repair remedy available. Ford and the dealership have stated that they are trying to develop a solution until June 2026. This effectively means I am being told to continue driving a vehicle with a known fire risk for an unknown extended period of time. For the past 10 months, I have been driving this vehicle in fear. I use it every day to take my children to school, transport my family, and handle family responsibilities. I cannot afford to purchase another vehicle because I invested most of my money into this one. The dealership has not provided me with a clear solution or completed any repair related to this recall. I have also faced nearly $4,000 in mechanical repair costs on a vehicle with about 59,000 miles. I no longer feel safe or confident owning this vehicle. I am concerned that a fire could happen while driving or while parked, putting my family and surrounding property at risk.

At least 6 times now my gas guage has plummeted from 60+ miles to 6 then 2 and none in less than a mile. Thus has left me standed after midnight on the side of the highway and other various places. I had to use the road side help ford offered. It happens often and doinng deliveries this is very scary for me. I never know how much gas i have. I feel like im constantly putting in gas. I looked up the symptoms and found on reddit quite a few people experience the same. This could be very dangerous to me and other drivers constantly getting stranded on side of road or in the middle of the road. This is a new car im Paying alot of money for. And should feel as safe as possible while driving

During the time of that complaint I was advised that my bronco currently has a recall that the fuel tank needs to be replaced but it is currently being deemed as non safety and will only be addressed if the vehicle is in for service. I was also advised that due to this recall it is currently a part of fords customer satisfaction program. Anything fuel related should be deemed as a safety recall considering fuel is a flammable chemical. I have requested a buy back as I no longer feel safe operating the vehicle or comfortable transporting my daughter in the vehicle as it aligns too closely with the known fuel safety recall currently present on some 2021-2024 bronco sports.

I have contacted ford directly and they still have not gotten a remedy for the unrepaired recall. My spouse and I went on a road trip that was 20 hour trip in total. They told us to keep driving it until it catches on fire because they did not have a remedy for it yet. We had just taken it in for an oil change and had them look the vehicle over due to the rpms keep jumping up even when going at low speed. The vehicle keeps loosing power and shakes when at idle or even when it starts up. We told ford about the smell of fuel or something when we walk by the hood of the vehicle and they said there was nothing wrong with it and that they didnt notice or smell anything when they did the oil change. When we talked to ford about our concern with the vehicle and that were were afraid to drive it especially since we have a baby and that we were told to continue driving it until it catches fire. We have a 9 month old who is in the vehicle daily due to having to go daycare. i am afraid for him being in the vehicle and it catching on fire or anything and not having enough time to get him out of the vehicle. Something needs to be done pronto or a law suit will be brought up

When coming from a stop at a traffic light vehicle losses power for approximately 15-20 seconds. This puts the driver of the vehicle, passengers, and other vehicle drivers operating on the roadway in danger of a major collision, possible bodily harm or even death. We have twice taken the vehicle to our dealership, where we purchased the vehicle; in order to fix the recall and we have had no success in gaining a remedy for the issues. The vehicle was seen twice by the Chandler, Arizona Earnheart Ford service department. There were no warning signs before the incident and they started appearing soon after the purchase of the vehicle. We have notice that the hotter it is outside the more frequent the loss of power occurs.
