Loss of power or acceleration randomly, when pressing on the pedal. A recall was issued that it was a fuel pump failure June of 2025. One year and two months later there is still no solution to this recall. I am mostly submitting this covering all bases and am filing a complaint with Ford motor company as well. This is a serious safety concern as without warning the car basically dies so turning in front of oncoming traffic or pulling out onto a road poses great risk when the vehicle may cease functioning.

FUEL/PROPULSION SYSTEM
The structural fuel line located on top of the fuel tank ruptured, causing highly pressurized fuel to actively spray directly toward the hot exhaust piping on my 2022 Ford Bronco (44,657 miles). This failure created an immediate, catastrophic, and potentially fatal fire risk to myself and others. There were no warning lamps, error messages, or prior symptoms leading up to this failure; the severe leak was only discovered after a routine, short-distance trip to and from a local grocery store. The vehicle and the failed component are currently available for inspection upon request. To date, the vehicle has only been inspected by myself and a local Ford dealership. The dealership visually confirmed the leak but improperly misdiagnosed the structural line failure as "rodent damage" without providing any supporting physical evidence. However, multiple online owner forums suggest this specific fuel line failure is a known, systemic manufacturing concern. I escalated this issue to Ford Customer Service (Case #CXH-08762672-F7N2Y7), but Ford denied the warranty claim based solely on the dealership's misdiagnosis. My documented physical evidence clearly shows a component manufacturing rupture, not outside damage.

There is a recall on this vehicle (25S75), issued on July 8, 2025. As of the date of writing this, there is no remedy available. This is a safety issue, and the fact that it remains unresolved over a year later, is completely unacceptable. The NHTSA site says to file a complaint if the issue is not remedied in a timely manner, and this is certainly not a timely remedy.

MY FORD BRONCO STALLED OUT ON THE HIGHWAY GOING 70 MILES PER HOUR CAUSING ME TO HAVE TO PULL OVER TO THE SHOULDER AND RESTART THE VEHICLE! IT FEELS LIKE THE ENGINE IS MISFIRING AND NOT GETTING ENOUGH FUEL WHILE GIVING THE CAR GAS. FORD HAS NO REMEDY AVAILABLE TO FIX THE FUEL PUMP ISSUE, ACCORDING TO FORD. THIS VEHICLE HAS BECOME A TICKING BOMB WITH RECALL AFTER RECALL. MANY OF THE RECALLS ARE DANGEROUS AND THE VEHICLE IS AT REAL RISK OF A MAJOR MALFUNCTION OR FIRE AND ACCIDENT! I WANT REIMBURSEMENT FROM FORD MOTOR COMPANY FOR THE CONTINUOUS PROBLEMS I HAVE HAD ON THE VEHICLE. 23 RECALLS AND NUMEROUS OTHER ISSUES THAT I HAD TO HAVE FIXED OVER THE 4 YEARS SINCE I OWNED IT. TOTALLY RIDICULOUS AND QUITE FRANKLY UNBELIEVABLE COMING FROM A LARGE COMPANY LIKE FORD. I WANT REIMBURSEMENT FROM FORD OR FORD CAN BUY THIS PIECE OF JUNK VEHICLE BACK. TOO DANGEROUS TO DRIVE THIS BRONCO AT THIS POINT . I HAVE HAD ENOUGH OF FORD SAYING A FIX IS NOT AVAILABLE!

Nothing has happened yet, but I dont want to wreck or die waiting for them to create a fix. It has been a year since they issued the recall & they have built year after year of new ones, so either they are continuing to build Broncos with crappy fuel pumps, nor they have better ones that they aren't giving to us that have had the Bronco for years already.

On 7/19/26, I was driving my 2022 Ford Bronco Wildtrak and attempting to turn left across oncoming traffic. When I pressed the accelerator to complete the turn, the vehicle hesitated and failed to accelerate as expected. An approaching vehicle had to decelerate abruptly and honk to avoid a collision. My Bronco is subject to NHTSA Recall 25V-455/Ford Campaign 25S75 concerning loss of fuel pressure and fuel flow caused by low-pressure fuel-pump failure. I am concerned that the hesitation was related to the recalled fuel-pump condition. There were no injuries or collision, but the loss of expected acceleration created an immediate safety risk. The recall remedy is not currently available. I am requesting that NHTSA document and evaluate this incident.

35 miles out of [XXX] on Monday, XXX our Bronco loss fuel flow in the fast lane of [XXX] and stalled while going 70mph we were surrounded by trucks also going 70mph, unexpectedly mid morning. No warning . Almost got rear ended and had to safely drift over to reach the side of the road. Very terrifying with cars going very fast behind us. We attempted to restart the Bronco and it started a few times and sputtered out. I immediately called the closest Ford dealership Gaudin and they dispatched a tow truck. The temperature was very hot and we waited for 1.5 hrs in the desert sun. The dealer provided a rental but I was not allowed to leave NV nor go more than 50 miles, they confirmed that it was a bad fuel pump. I did not receive the car back until Friday 6/19/26. This incident occurred on my first day of VC planned in [XXX]. My whole vacation was ruined, unexpected expenses, and the stress of having to drive with a defective part when it’s fixed is a problem. We have to drive back to LA and I can’t miss work. We took the vehicle to Gaupin in LA to have it serviced before this trip even an oil change on 6/11/26. They assured us that all was well, only 2 recalls showed up- rear camera and a seat adjustment bolt . Why didn’t the dealer tell us about the fuel pump and the dangers. The vin number has a listed “1 un-repaired recall - fuel pump dated 7/2025. Manufacturer #XXX, NHTSA# 25V455. No notice has come through the mail and then it states Recall incomplete in red. If it was known that the fuel pump could fail, how are owners allowed to drive around without a complete recall, and without a fix. The dealer said they are going to announce on Jun 29. Well in our case that’s a little too late. Am I supposed to drive with a defective fuel system??? They replaced the fuel pump with another new pump that will have the same issue, not a fix. On June 19 later that evening after fueling it up, a service engine light came on with exhaust system issues. INFORMATION REDACTED PURSUANT TO THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT (FOIA),

My 2022 Ford Bronco experienced recall 25S75 where fuel pump failed while driving on the freeway outside LA near San Bernardino. Recall was communicated in July of 2025 and no fix available. How long has Ford been building cars? There were no warnings or symptoms prior to failure. This was extremely dangerous for car to stall in the middle of the freeway, not to mention it was 98 degrees outside. I was able to tow my Bronco to a Ford dealership where they confirmed and fixed the recall fuel pump issue.
