This event occurred after a history of ABS system issues as well as Infotainment system issues since 10k miles. During morning commute at approximately 60 mph, all dash warnings began to chime associated with the Touring features of the sedan. TPMS, Collision Avoidance, Braking System, Lane Departure, etc. AND Electric Power Steering. The steering wheel clicked and immediately became difficult to steer. I found a safe pullover point and managed to return the car safely the short distance home.

My husband was driving our 2022 Honda Accord home eastbound on [XXX] on Friday, [XXX] from Oswego to Saratoga Springs from a funeral. It was extremely hot that day. It started to rain and he was going the speed limit and the steering locked up. He ended up doing at least one 360 possible two and then hit the guardrail. We never had a recall on our steering but a lot of issues while driving on the lane controls. INFORMATION REDACTED PURSUANT TO THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6)

The steering wheel became hard to turn randomly and the power steering problem warning came on but then went away. At one point the driver assist turned off and the lights were orange but then it went away too. It keeps happening when I'm parking. The steering wheel gets stiff and the warning comes on and goes away. There were no lights or warnings prior, just started happening randomly. This is recent and I have not yet got it inspected but it is available for inspection.

Turning the wheel when the car is in park or reversing causes a very loud groaning sound. Honda claims it’s not a safety issue so to ignore it but it has been happening since the car had less than 48,000 miles on it and seems to be a common problem online. A recall is needed to replace the defective part.

The contact owns a 2022 Honda Accord. The contact stated that while driving at an undisclosed speed and turning, the vehicle made an abnormal sound. No warning light was illuminated. The vehicle was taken to the dealer, who determined that the EPS (Electric Power Steering) module had failed; however, the contact was informed that there was no repair available at the time. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was 24,686.

steering feels tighter turning left than right. when turning left the wheel centers back up but when turning right it dosnt center. my alignment is fine when my wheel is straight it goes straight. it also likes to center up a little to the right. no one could fix this issue. i took it to a mechanic after multiple honda visists and they said it might be the steering rack. i took it back to honda after a clicking noise started happening when i turn at slow speeds or stopped and they said it was the steering rack but there was nothing they could do untill the investogstion for it was done

Woke up and started my car, all the lights were on including engine light. no adapter cruise, steering light was on. Screen also was saying avoid speeding. Every notification was telling me go to the dealer ship. I took it Howdy Honda in Texas and they said we will need to do a diagnostic and it was for 255 for to see what the problem was. They looked and said I had code for po172(rich) and misfire on p0301 told me I need to replace fuel injectors. Which cost 1933$. Which is way too much and fuel injectors a labor should be covered under Federal Emissions Warranty but they said no. So I am filing a recall for fuel injectors for my 2022 Honda accord sports se. I am unable to drive because it’s in limp mode. I also have documentation from howdy for quote.

I purchased my 2022 Honda Accord Sport 1.5 T in December 2021. Around 20k miles, I began experiencing issues with the steering. There was a sticky sensation that required exerting force. I took into the dealership on numerous occasions only to be told "there was nothing wrong" or that "the issue could not be duplicated". It eventually began to get worse around 52k miles, so around October of 2023, I began going back to the dealership, only for the same answers of "can not be duplicated". At 60k miles, the unfindable issue become discoverable (Not sure if they were being honest or they were waiting until my warranty expired to properly diagnose the issue). The service advisor informed me that I would need a steering rack replacement. I asked would Honda assist with the repair as I had began complaining about the issue well before my warranty expired. The advisor informed me that Honda would not assist. Fast forward, a week later, I reached out to Honda myself and they gave me a green light for assistance with the repair. They agreed to cover $2200 for the part itself and I was responsible for the labor, which left me with a balance of $1400. In December of 2023, I had the repair done and the vehicle was driving a little better at first, but still a little off. Of course the service department ensured that nothing was wrong and they could not do anything unless something breaks or the computer throws a code. Fast forward to around June of 2024, I began having the same issues with the steering wheel sticking, but was out of warranty as the dealership stated that the warranty was a 2 year/12k mile warranty. This is ridiculous to pay all this money for vehicles, have it repaired and have to deal with the same issue again. Honda is well aware of this issue, but instead of doing the right and ethical thing and issuing a recall on the steering racks, they'd rather sit and act clueless and oblivious to the issue.

Metal part of Rear upper and control arm bushings get rusty, they may come off the main piece and cause the driver to lose control of the vehicle and cause an accident. I have just put 25,000 miles on my Accord. Bought it a year ago.

The car shuffles on the concrete highway and causes a safety issue, and we cannot drive safely in this new vehicle purchase. I contacted my dealer Smat Honda, and Honda.com within 3 days and told them that I cannot drive the car, and I want to return it. It’s a safety risk, and it causes vertigo for both me and my wife.
