On August 6, 2025, I purchased a 2013 Infiniti G37 from Auto Quality Corp. The total amount paid was $4,700 with a pending balance of $1000. I was given the car turned on and was not present when the car was turned on. Upon leaving the dealership and arriving to my destination, I turned off the car. Once I was ready to get back on the road, the car failed to turn on again. The vehicle is failing to start and is now inoperable. I do not feel safe driving the vehicle due to the major concerns that are showing up. The vehicle is not functional. The car stopped working entirely within the same day of purchase, and I am now left with a non-operational vehicle. The odometer has discrepancies. The bill of sale shows 82,521 miles, but this does not match the information in the vehicle history reports. Also, I was not made of aware, until I signed the bill of sale, that the Airbags checkbox is marked as unknown. This raises serious safety concerns, especially since I suspect the vehicle may not even be equipped with functioning airbags. The Dealer also refuses to cooperate. I contacted them the same day I was sold the vehicle and did not answer the phone calls. I had to get a ride and go physically to the office to state my complaint. I want to return the car and request a full refund due to safety and misrepresentation issues. However, they refused to accept a return or provide any refund. The vehicle was sold "as-is" but I know the sale involved fraud and omitted critical safety information that would have affected my decision to purchase. I am requesting that your office investigate this dealer for potential violations of Florida law regarding vehicle sales, odometer fraud, and failure to disclose critical safety information.

The air bag sensor and lights indicated that the passenger side air bag was not operating. We took the vehicle to the Infiniti Dealer and they did a diagnostic test and determined that the sensor in the passenger seat was not working. We were told that in the event of a collision that the air bags in the entire car would not deploy if the passenger air bag was not replaced. In order to have operating air bags the passenger seat would need to be replaced. The cost of the seat was 7,452.84 and the labor was 525.00. This repair was completed on 12/13/2021. It is now 7/18/23 and the passenger air bag light is now illuminated again. This repair is past the one year warranty. My wife is the only driver of this vehicle and rarely has anyone using the front passenger seat. There was a recall (number 08v522100) for this same issue fir 2007/08 G models. Please investigate this safety issue before someone is seriously injured due to this failure.

ELECTRICAL SYSTEM

Immediately when I started driving, the sensors on my dashboard started lighting up. First the air pressure sensor, then the Tire serve sensor, and finally the key sensor. My turn signals were malfunctioning. They would go on and off without me triggering them. Then every time I came to a stop and accelerated again, my car would jerk back. I eventually pulled over and my car wouldn’t even turn off. I had to put the key fob in the key slot to get the car to turn off. Then, the car would not start back up. I had to have the car towed to the Dealership. When I arrived at the Dealership, they told me that there were two other cars there having similar issues caused by rain water getting into the electrical. Here is the diagnosis they gave me: UPON INSPECTION AND SITTING IN VEHICLE CAN SMELL AND FEEL DAMPNESS FROM CARPET. FURTHER INSPECTION FOUND WATER FROM SUNROOF DRAIN TUBES LEAKING WATER INTO THE BODY CONTROL COMPUTER AND CAUSED ELECTRICAL SHORT CIRCUIT WITH INTELLIGENT KEY SYSTEM AND IGNITION SYSTEM. PERFORMED ELECTRICAL TEST AND TRACED SOURCE OF FAILURE TO THE BODY CONTROL UNIT. (THE BODY CONTROL MODULE CONTROLS KEYS, DOOR LOCKS, VEHICLE IGNITION START, AND TURN SIGNALS), AND VEHICLE LIGHTS). INSPECTION FOUND THERE IS A SHORT IN THE BODY CONTROL UNIT COMPUTER DUE TO WATER INTRUSION. REMOVED BODY CONTROL COMPUTER UNIT AND FOUND WATER INSIDE THE CONNECTOR PLUGS. BODY CONTROL MODULE COMPUTER SHORT CIRCUIT AND IS COMPROMISED. NEED TO REPLACE SUN ROOF DRAIN TUBES TO ELIMINATE WATER INTRUSION INTO THE CABIN AREA AND ALSO TO REPLACE BODY CONTROL UNIT COMPUTER. It’s highly unlikely that there would be 3 cars with similar issues at one dealership on any given day if this was NOT a manufacturers issue. Please help me get reimbursed and start a recall for this dangerous issue. Thank you

Brought my car in to fix a/c auto amp behind radio cause fuel gauge was not giving correct readings.. 2 days after receiving vehicle my airbag light turned on and is blinking and Infiniti won’t take responsibility and saying they have to fix diag sensor in center console which is 2400 dollars and if that don’t fix issue they have to replace passenger seat cushion which is 5000 dollars which is on back order and may not even be able to get part at all cause they don’t make part anymore. so I have a vehicle that I’m still paying on that will never pass inspection and it’s very upsetting that I have to take such a huge loss like this and don’t know how Infiniti is getting away with this when it should be recall.. I looked up on forums and seen dozens of complaints from ppl about the same exact issue specially after having the a/c auto amp fixed.. I also contact state and recall and they said that’s not right but they needs more complaints to do basic investigation..I really hope something gets done about this

My vehicle fuel gauge reading recently started malfunctioning. It showed 1/8 tank and 40 miles left before I needed gas. The gas warning light came on. However within a minute, it showed 1/4 tank and 80 miles left before I ran out of gas. So I thought I was OK because I was on the freeway and I was getting better mileage, so I could travel further. I drove about 10 more miles and all of a sudden the warning light came on and said I only had about 2 miles of gas left. My car started sputtering and I ran out of gas on the freeway. I was VERY lucky I was able to coast (no power) onto the emergency shoulder. I called AAA to bring me gas. I felt very unsafe being on the side of the freeway in Los Angeles, cars were passing me at 70+ mph, and several cars swerved to avoid me, even with my emergency blinkers on. I thought it might have been a glitch that only happened once, so I have been very careful about filling my gas well before I think it needs it. But then it happened again the other day. My gauge showed 1/4 tank with about 75 miles left but then a few minutes later it showed 1/2 tank with around 150 miles left. I stopped for gas and it took nearly 15 gallons (it only holds 17 gallons). This is extremely dangerous, and many other G35/G37 owners have this problem. (I have seen the exact same issues with fuel gauge readings in Infiniti G37 forums). My cluster is working (I ran the cluster diagnostic and all gauges are functioning) so I believe it must be either the fuel sensor, the float arm or possibly an AC Amp (a part that controls all the information sent to the gauge cluster, found near the radio?) I also saw that Nissan/Infiniti had a recall almost identical to this. Recall 10V074000. THIS COULD CAUSE THE VEHICLE TO RUN OUT OF GAS AND STALL ON THE HIGHWAY, WHICH COULD CAUSE A CRASH. Please advise if this can be investigated as a potential safety hazard and recall for my vehicle. Thank you!

Due to the sunroof drain defect, the flooding of the interior causes the water to get into the body control module impacting the electronics which can result in numerous failures in the vehicle making it dangerous to drive. The service department informed me that the sensor in the lower seat assemble was bad ad needed to be replaced (part number 87300JJ84A). The air bag warning light for the passenger air bag on my 2013 Infiniti G37 is constantly flashing on my dash and the passenger air bag off message is always on in my vehicle, even when my wife is sitting in the seat, and I have not had an accident. The light just started flashing on its own approximately 6 months ago. This would seem to me to be a legitimate safety issue. If I were in an accident, regardless of whose fault, and my wife was in the passenger's seat, she could sustain serious injuries due to the fact that the passenger air bag did not deploy due to a faulty sensor.

Approximately 2 months ago, the air bag warning light on the dash started flashing along with the icon on the front display warning about the passenger side airbag being off. There was no person sitting in the seat, nor was there any small items on the passenger seat. I looked up online how to reset the dash warning light and this worked up until about one week ago. Also, when someone now sits in the passenger seat, the warning light starts flashing along with the front display warning of the passenger side airbag being off. The airbag light on the dash was flashing. The airbag light that indicates the passenger airbag is not on stays on even if a person is sitting in the passenger seat. This means that the airbag is not active when there is someone sitting in the passenger seat. If I got into an accident and the passenger airbag did not deploy, it could cause serious bodily injury to the passenger. The cost to repair is more than half of what the car is worth. In the picture, you can see the second item in the list is to replace the passenger seat sensor.
