I purchased my vehicle in October 2025 for over $20,000, and It just started having issues on December 8, 2025. I have taken it to the dealership and made the head office aware of the issue I am having. The vehicle experiences delayed or absent braking response when brake pedal is applied. Dealership claims no issue found, but the vehicle fails to decelerate as expected, creating an imminent risk of collision. The vehicle has been at the Coggin Nissan dealership in Jacksonville since January 22,2026. I am not receiving any feedback or response on addressing the issue. I am now renting a car for which Nissan headquarters said will reimburse until yesterday but my issue is not resolved and my car is not safe to drive. Thank you for your help on this matter. Event Description - Car began veering off the road to the left - Driver attempted to correct the unintended maneuver, but the car increased in speed, despite braking - The car then lost all steering and braking capability, - In an attempt to control/stop the car, it instead proceeded uncontrollably performing a doughnut on the roadside embankment, and another doughnut that landed the vehicle back on the road, horizontally against oncoming traffic - The vehicle was then put in park, but the gear indicator, indicated that the car was still in drive - With foot on brake, the gear stick was shifted to the “drive” position, but the car went in reverse instead of forward - The vehicle was then completely turned off, and restarted. At that point, the vehicle proceeded as usual. - Vehicle was then driven to a safe location.

I was on the freeway, going 65mph. Suddenly, i felt my car partially brake. Thank God I was close to an exit and got off safely. My car partially braked again while i was going 35mph down the street. As i cautiously drove home, the FCW kept blinking, even though there was ample distance between me and other cars, and at times, no car in front of me. It's winter time and there's snow on the ground. This could cause an accident!!!

There appears to be a problem with the Automatic Emergency Braking (AEB), while driving on 2 occasions, my Nossan 2018 roque automatically slowed down by itself and flashed a warning on the dash board and made an audible beeping sound. The tires also had friction against the road, showing the breaks activated on their own although there was no risk of an accident or obstacle in the way so t should not have activated. Thos seems dangerous because it slows the car down randomly and might actually cause an accident. It happened 22Dec2025 and about 6 driving sessions before that so it's a recurring issue.

I was driving 70 mi./ an hour and then all of a sudden the car jerked very hard. The car behind me had to hurry up and move from behind me because he saw my car had come coming to a complete stop at 25 to 35 miles an hour. A show that I had a crash and then I tried to accelerate to go pick up the speed and I couldn’t go no more than 45 miles was very scary don’t want driver car like that haven’t had the car a month and I’m having issues with something I’m paying for that shouldn’t be happening

I was driving on a four lane road, no car in front in my lane, only a car in the lane to the left and a car behind, when the forward collision warning came up and immediately activated the automatic emergency braking. There were no cars or objects in the road ahead that would have triggered the forward collision warning. Fortunately the car behind did not hit me despite the abrupt and unexpected stop. For context, I have had an ongoing issue with this car detecting shadows when in reverse (mostly in my driveway) and thinking they are objects or people, which triggers the automatic emergency braking. On the day of the incident described above the weather condition was sunny.

2021 Nissan Rogue Sport. While driving, the Forward Collision Warning/Automatic Emergency Braking system will sometimes activate without reason. The vehicle applies the brakes suddenly, even when there are no obstacles, vehicles, or hazards in front of me. This false activation occurs intermittently and poses a safety concern, as it can cause unexpected braking in traffic. The issue has happened under normal driving conditions, without any obstructions on the road.

Car stops abruptly when no objects or cars are in the road - had to push through on the gas to not be hit/cause and accident. • Seems to be (NTB19-033F). But no longer/ never active for 2019 Rogue? • Can kill someone and cause severe damage to humans and vehicles/property. • Has happened twice (June 2024, January 2025) thankfully with no crashes, but very possible. • Local dealership says it's not an active recall and > $2000 for repair on Jan 9, 2025 2019 Nissan Rogue Sport SL

For about a year now when starting my car I sometimes get a message that states No Key detected. I have two keys in the vehicle with new batteries. I does not do it all the time but often. Yesterday the car would not start at all. I pressed the buttons on the key fob several times to lock and unlock the doors and the car finally recognized the key was in the car. Once i started rolling out the garage the brakes locked up and I could not turn the wheel. Thankfully, I was able to stop before entering the street. I feel this is a manufacturers defect because I have had several people with Nissans say they had the same issue and paid over $1000 to get it corrected. My co worker was talked into trading hers in for another vehicle for the exact same issue. I made a claim with Nissan customer service. The case number is [XXX}. Hi. I was driving my Nissan car at around 45 to 50 miles per hour and the car abruptly/suddenly stopped in the middle of the road without any warning. I was about to be hit by other cars behind me but Thank God that didn’t happen. I am very scared of driving this car now. My kids also drive this car and I am extremely worried about their safety. I am hoping Nissan will do something. Extremely worried and scared.

The problem that the ABS system suddenly applies the brakes is back depsite the recall a few years ago on the Nissan Rogues. This happens ont he highway and on back streets at whatever speed. Yes the car is availabel for inspection. It happends when alone or in traffic, no rhyme or reason. I have not had the time to take it to the dealer yet to investigate. The light may come on or the car brakes itself slightly causing the car to swerve or pitch. This has happened daily last week and this week. This can cause someone to have an accident and endanger the lives of others. There is no warning, the light either comes on or the brakes are applied all of a sudden.

My emergency breaking system breaks on its own this has been happening since I got the car I went back to the dealership a few months later and they didn’t help me in the slightest I have been turning the breaking system off everyday for years and I shouldn’t have to do that I am paying a loan on a car that is going to kill me… I forgot to turn it off the other day and I stopped when I was going 60 MPH this is unsafe and unreasonable for Nissan to not assist me by either taking this out of the car, giving me a new car or reimbursing me. This car is going to kill me.

Recalls about it the cvt has been reported but nothing has been done.

My 2020 Nissan Sport braked while I was driving and then lost power completely and would not accelerate no matter how much or how long I pressed the gas pedal. This occurred for no reason and there was no obstacle in front of the vehicle. This is a very serious problem and could cause a serious accident. A message appeared in the instrumental panel saying “Warning Malfunction” and the symbol of two cars colliding appeared.

On several separate occasions my brakes locked up while driving my 2018 Nissan Rouge Sport, including yesterday January 2, 2022, luckily I was trying to leave a gas station and not on the interstate like the prior incident. I didn't understand what was happening this morning January 3rd, when I started researching the strange orange indicator light that keeps displaying and why my brakes keeps locking and I can't do anything until they release themselves. I found several complaints of people having the same issue as I. This was a scary situation, I was 91 miles from home when this brake incident occurred again. I looked up recalls and there is no recall for the braking malfunction for my vehicle, I can't keep playing Russian Roulette with this vehicle and my life, I drive my 5 year old grandson in this car. Now that I know the issue I'm scared of driving for fear of having an accident and worst case scenario me or my grandson being killed if the brakes locked on the highway and someone slams into the rear of the vehicle. This is definitely a safely hazzard that needs to be resolved. I can't believe I had to research to find that this was an ongoing problem that's being kept quiet. Who has to die before major issues such as this are corrected, we are consumers who put their trust in the hands of automakers and manufacturers to ensure we are purchasing safe vehicles. Like myself and so many others, our intent is to purchase good quality vehicles, which includes safety as the number one feature. My vehicle is definitely not safe and I don't want to keep putting myself or my grandson in harm's way due to no fault of our own.

On three separate dates this year the AEB system activated without any reason. There was no vehicle in front of the Rogue Sport and thank God there were no vehicles beyond the Rogue to cause any damage, injuries, or deaths. 1st incident - Feb 2021 - winter snow (17,300 miles) 2nd incident - Mar 2021 - diving over railroad tracks (17,800 miles) 3rd incident - Sept 2021 – rainy conditions (27,700 miles) Rogue was taken to the dealership after 2nd and 3rd incidents. The techs checked for codes, performed system checks, and tried to duplicate the problem. Performed RE flash on the laser radar system (RX6FAA reprogram laser/radar control unit) after 2nd incident.
