FORWARD COLLISION AVOIDANCE: AUTOMATIC EMERGENCY BRAKING

While in rush hour traffic with over 100ft of clear road no cars, the car made its beeping noise and applied the ebrakes. This could've ended in a loss of life on the high way

FORWARD COLLISION AVOIDANCE: AUTOMATIC EMERGENCY BRAKING

I was on the freeway, going 65mph. Suddenly, i felt my car partially brake. Thank God I was close to an exit and got off safely. My car partially braked again while i was going 35mph down the street. As i cautiously drove home, the FCW kept blinking, even though there was ample distance between me and other cars, and at times, no car in front of me. It's winter time and there's snow on the ground. This could cause an accident!!!

2022 Nissan Rogue Sport Milwaukee, WI

FORWARD COLLISION AVOIDANCE: AUTOMATIC EMERGENCY BRAKING

I was driving 70 mi./ an hour and then all of a sudden the car jerked very hard. The car behind me had to hurry up and move from behind me because he saw my car had come coming to a complete stop at 25 to 35 miles an hour. A show that I had a crash and then I tried to accelerate to go pick up the speed and I couldn’t go no more than 45 miles was very scary don’t want driver car like that haven’t had the car a month and I’m having issues with something I’m paying for that shouldn’t be happening

FORWARD COLLISION AVOIDANCE: AUTOMATIC EMERGENCY BRAKING

I was driving on a four lane road, no car in front in my lane, only a car in the lane to the left and a car behind, when the forward collision warning came up and immediately activated the automatic emergency braking. There were no cars or objects in the road ahead that would have triggered the forward collision warning. Fortunately the car behind did not hit me despite the abrupt and unexpected stop. For context, I have had an ongoing issue with this car detecting shadows when in reverse (mostly in my driveway) and thinking they are objects or people, which triggers the automatic emergency braking. On the day of the incident described above the weather condition was sunny.

FORWARD COLLISION AVOIDANCE: WARNINGS

The fuel gauge has failed. The ac unit has been finicky since I purchased the vehicle and has already received one repair. Fuel gauge has been reading incorrectly for 2 weeks now. Read that it is a common issue for the nissan rogue sports. A few days ago my forward collision warning came on and said system error. There were no objects in front of me or stuck to the vehicle.

2021 Nissan Rogue Sport Hazelwood, MO

FORWARD COLLISION AVOIDANCE: WARNINGS

2021 Nissan Rogue Sport. While driving, the Forward Collision Warning/Automatic Emergency Braking system will sometimes activate without reason. The vehicle applies the brakes suddenly, even when there are no obstacles, vehicles, or hazards in front of me. This false activation occurs intermittently and poses a safety concern, as it can cause unexpected braking in traffic. The issue has happened under normal driving conditions, without any obstructions on the road.

FORWARD COLLISION AVOIDANCE: AUTOMATIC EMERGENCY BRAKING

I believe my cars computer is being hacked. Some things I’ve noticed are stereo issues the volume goes up and down or the music skips intermittently. Some times the music turns off. The collision symbol prompts on the dash. Acceleration issues. Antilock breaks don’t work, sometimes. Safety features are being turned off. My maps goes offline. My update for maps in Nebraska isn’t listed but all the other states are listed. Awd button doesn’t work, sometimes. I am worried for my safety. I took it to Nissan and they updated the sonar component system. It helped some. Stereo issues are still present. Music is still turning off by itself. Volume is still going up and down and the radio not a CD is skipping intermittently. Nissan stated they have no testing to see if any malware has been installed. I contacted Nissan consumer affairs. They are chosing to do nothing at this time.

FORWARD COLLISION AVOIDANCE: AUTOMATIC EMERGENCY BRAKING

Car stops abruptly when no objects or cars are in the road - had to push through on the gas to not be hit/cause and accident. • Seems to be (NTB19-033F). But no longer/ never active for 2019 Rogue? • Can kill someone and cause severe damage to humans and vehicles/property. • Has happened twice (June 2024, January 2025) thankfully with no crashes, but very possible. • Local dealership says it's not an active recall and > $2000 for repair on Jan 9, 2025 2019 Nissan Rogue Sport SL

FORWARD COLLISION AVOIDANCE: AUTOMATIC EMERGENCY BRAKING

Hi. I was driving my Nissan car at around 45 to 50 miles per hour and the car abruptly/suddenly stopped in the middle of the road without any warning. I was about to be hit by other cars behind me but Thank God that didn’t happen. I am very scared of driving this car now. My kids also drive this car and I am extremely worried about their safety. I am hoping Nissan will do something. Extremely worried and scared.

FORWARD COLLISION AVOIDANCE: AUTOMATIC EMERGENCY BRAKING

Twice, while I was driving with no cars in front of me, the emergency brake was released. The first time, cars were behind me abs the second time they were not. I was driving at normal speed down a street both times. This could cause an accident or hurt someone. Approximate date is the second incident. The first incident was a couple of months before.

FORWARD COLLISION AVOIDANCE: ADAPTIVE CRUISE CONTROL

On Saturday [XXX] while driving on [XXX] while in cruise control mode and set approx. 71 mph I know that my right knee made minimal contact with keyfob and the engine seemed to shut down and the vehicle decelerated immediately, I had no desire to brake due to my seeing my speed was near 30 mph. Traffic was not directly behind and all I was trying to locate was the 4 way hazard to engage which having only recently purchasing [XXX] and I had driven maybe 60 miles I located but with seeing a couple of vehicles approaching and being in the #2 lane my steering was stiff with little chance to get over safely to the #1 lane or to the further left HOV lane, I reached down w/ right hand and made very minimal contact with ignition/ keyfob area and the vehicle had power and was able to regain speed. I absolutely did not attempt to turn the key that was still fully in place. I can not say that other than making contact with no aggressive action or intent was I to believe the vehicle would again be running as it had prior and I proceeded the remainder of my trip (approx. 15-18 miles) with no further issues and without a clue other than I had been made aware of the recall prior to purchase and told it was not anything to be concerned with that the jackknife keyfob seemed to lock in the open position fine, and to just leave it in that position, which I did not agree with that opinion as I read about this safety issue and have brought up on at least 4 occasions prior to and after the sale. We were actually informed by the finance mgr. upon signing there were NO RECALLS on this vehicle, which we made him aware of and he commented that it would be nice if somebody would let him know that! And I informed sales person on two separate occasions as well asking that it receive the final Nissan remedy yet never being taken very seriously and now unhappy with this event when I that my knee making such slight contact is disturbing! 2021 Nissan Rogue Sport Raleigh, NC Crash

FORWARD COLLISION AVOIDANCE: WARNINGS

The FCW system would come on for no reason. I've had the car 3 months this had been a problem as well as other crash warnings of the vehicle during this time period. then on May 31st I was in an accident that I should have gotten a warning as to to close but didn't. I had reported to the dealership I purchased car from but no information to help. I'm upset. I have read that this is an ongoing problem with the make, year, and model. Do I have any recourse to address to the maker, Nissan?

2019 Nissan Rogue Sport Watertown, MA

FORWARD COLLISION AVOIDANCE: ADAPTIVE CRUISE CONTROL

I have reported to my dealer (the Marlboro Nissan/MA on [XXX] 2024 XXXPM) the dangerous situation that keeps my Rogue (vin: XXX) at a lower gear (the car cannot go more than 20 MPH... in the highway this is very slow) after standing still in a traffic jam for a while on a hot day (specially after a traffic jam is cleared). I'm concerned this can cause an accident and Nissan is doing nothing to resolve this risky car issue. There is no indication in the dashboard and even though we have reported this problem to the dealer twice, they have done nothing. Nissan should be held accountable for not resolving this design/manufacturing issue. Additional INFORMATION REDACTED PURSUANT TO THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6)
