Vehicle currently has 5000 miles.Vehicle has been and is currently for the 3rd time at dealership for this safety issue. Dealer has involved STAR engineering. Issue has not been duplicated by shop tech but was captured on video by owner and given to dealership. This creates a safety concern due to unexpected loss of propulsion in traffic conditions

On April 20, 2026, at approximately 3:30 PM, a 2025 Ram ProMaster operated as part of a commercial delivery fleet experienced a sudden vehicle fire while driving on a rural road near [XXX] [XXX] ). According to the driver, the vehicle drove over a small amount of corn husk debris on a low-maintenance gravel road, which is a normal and expected driving condition in this area. Immediately after, the vehicle became immobilized, and smoke and fire rapidly developed inside the vehicle and spread to the surrounding field. The driver exited the vehicle quickly and sustained second-degree burns and loss of facial hair. Emergency services responded, and approximately ten fire units were required to contain the fire. The driver was taken to the hospital by ambulance. The vehicle was a total loss. Notably, more than 24 hours after the initial incident, the vehicle reignited while being handled by a tow company. This incident does not appear consistent with normal operating risk. Driving over agricultural debris such as corn husks is a routine condition in rural Nebraska and should not result in catastrophic vehicle failure or fire. Additionally, another fleet operator in the same geographic market reported a nearly identical incident involving a 2025 Ram ProMaster less than one month prior. In that case, the vehicle also caught fire while being driven under normal rural road conditions. There is currently a known recall affecting 2025 Ram ProMaster vehicles. Given the similarity of incidents, severity of outcome, and potential pattern, this may indicate a broader safety defect. This event resulted in driver injury, complete vehicle loss, and damage to surrounding agricultural property. Immediate investigation into potential fire risk and defect in 2025 Ram ProMaster vehicles is strongly requested. My brand new truck started shaking while accelerating past 65mph. The shaking was not dampened by the suspension at all. (I.e. it kept the same or increased strength). The shaking could cause damage, excessive loosening or wear of critical components and lead to a serious accident at these speeds. It is similar to the "death wobble", but not as violent. It occurred multiple times. The shaking occurred without going over large bumps. I took it to a dealership and they did a load balance and alignment without resolving the problem. They noted a wheel was warped and moved it from the front to the back. This did not solve the problem. It seemed to prevent the shaking if I just tap the gas and wait a few seconds instead of holding it. The transition in and out of eco mode (4 to 8 cylinders) should be looked into.

I have had my DEF system in my 2025 Ram 2500 Freeze twice now, I live in an area that drops below 12 degrees in the winter. I took it to the dealership the first time and they said the whole thing was frozen solid. I had to pay $365 since it is not covered under warranty for them to completely thaw it out and put new DEF in the tank. 7 days later it froze up again. The Service DEF System message seems to come on every time I have already been driving for awhile. I'm not trying to pay $365 every single time it freezes up.

The instrument cluster failed completely. All gauges were offline, and the vehicle became stuck in the ACC/IGN “on” state. The push-to-start button would not disengage, the exterior lights stayed on, and the truck acted as if the ignition was on even when the engine was off. While driving, no speedometer, RPM, warning lights, temperature readings, DEF/emissions information, airbag indicators, or other instrument cluster functions were available. The vehicle also displayed a false door-open message. The issue was confirmed by the dealership, and the truck was declared unsafe to drive. The vehicle has remained out of service for months while waiting for the replacement instrument cluster, which has been unavailable due to manufacturer part shortages. The problem can be reproduced and is fully documented by the service center.

When turn signal auto-cancels (completion of turn), the opposite side turn signal will SOMETIMES erroneously enable. This can be consistently reproduced when completing a turn (returning wheel to center) quickly. Slow turns do not cause the problem. Took to dealer and showed them how to reproduce... In park, just turn on signal then simulate turning then returning to center quickly. Dealer tested another 2025 on the lot and confirmed same behavior. They told me this is normal behavior. This happens sometimes under normal driving conditions and I'm afraid it confuses cars around me and presents a potential safety issue.

Unknown. purchase June 2025, 1297 miles on odometer. On 4 occasions engine has died for no apparent reason in traffic. (Specific Hazard is that vehicle must be put in park and brake applied to restart. Very hazardous in traffic especially if pulling a trailer.) In each case vehicle was slowing to make a turn. Signal on and brake lightly applied, Nothing noticed on dash except when notice to put in park and apply brake to Start Engine appears. Dealer has not returned my call for service. Advised them on July 22. Have seen other mention of issue on internet but not this model year and did not notice mention of how hazardous it is to have to come to a complete stop to restart vehicle.

When letting off the gas and coasting to turn on a road around 10 mph, vehicle motor shut off and lost power steering control. Vehicle alerted to place vehicle in park, press break and push start button. Vehicle started back with no issues. Reported to dealer, dealer picked up and stated they could not find any issues and returned to me. Following day while going to work vehicle again shut off when pulling up to a gate entry and then again approaching my return to home at stop sign. All three times vehicle was under 15 mph and approaching turn/stop. New Truck, only 30 miles on it when first incident occurred and only 160 miles now. Dealer still not able to duplicate or locate the problem. System is showing no codes.
