Tesla just recently recalling 700,000 cars with tire pressure issues and my car is effected as well because we never received any warning before the blowout. We did inspect the tire and documented everting showing no evidence of any that went through the tire to cause it go flat, the car is 8 month old and everything is fairly new and we should never have to deal with such and event that almost got us killed on the freeway, also since we were forced to exit the freeway for our safety driving on a flat tire that did cause a serious damages to the tire and vehicle with no spare wheel available to get it replaced on the spot to prevent any further damages, the car is not safe to be driven with serious Tire Pressure and bad alignment that comes from the factory that don’t match the suspension profile selected by the user that puts lots of unnecessary stress on the tire that causes a serious dangerous event to happen anytime. Tesla is refusing to take any responsibility for this issue even though it’s very well documented and we end up with a $4500 bill, something that we never should be responsible for. Also Tesla manager Oliver Ftankcom suggested that it’s ok to risk our lives staying in the car and not move it after a flat tire so we don’t cause more damages to the car, but we would of been killed on the freeway waiting for 4 hours for a tow truck to show up, so we had no choice but to exit the freeway for safety with a spare tire.

We bought our tesla model x on or about June 6th 2023, on or about march 22nd our right rear tire developed a leak, we took it to les Schwab tires to have it checked our and they discovered it was a cracked wheel, they said it was a defective wheel and that we should take it to tesla to get replaced as they have seen 3 others in the last 2 weeks. We took it to tesla and they said they would not warranty any wheels as they have never warrantied any before. They said it was due to road impact but there is no sign of any impact visible other than the crack. Around that same time our passenger door window button fell inside the door panel so we scheduled an appointment to have it fixed and had been advised it would be covered. My wife took it to them on or about April 19th and one guy said it probably wouldn't be covered then the other service adviser stated that it would be warranty as we have not had the car for even a year but then the service manager refused to fix it and wanted us to pay over $1,000 to fix it. They said it was from abuse that it broke but not sure how you abuse a switch push down on it with your finger to activate switch. Now on Saturday April 27th we have developed another tire loosing air, now the left rear due to another cracked wheel. Now I did more research online and have found numerous people with the same problems and having 3-4 of their factory wheels breaking. This is also on top of the car wearing out the inside edge of the tire while the center and outer part of the tire has lots of life left in it meaning that the alignment is not properly set but tesla says that it is normal because it is a performance vehicle. Not sure that I would consider a 6 passenger sub a performance vehicle

While pulling forward to straighten out car into parking/charging spot at less than 1mph at EVGo charger in front of Meijer store the front passenger wheel made loud clunk and would not move. Another motorist charging said he heard it and offered to help. I called Tesla roadside from car’s service screen and waited over half hour before being disconnected. The Tesla App provides NO applicable options for this scenario to report. I then called my extended warranty (X-care) roadside and after almost 4 hours obtained a tow to Tesla Service in Clarkston. Tesla now diagnosed that the FORE LINK ASSY, 1.00 RH(1041575-00-B) WASHER, NORDLOCK, 1.00 15.2X30.7X3.4(1033093- 00-A) NUT HF M14X1.50 [10] 1.00 ZNNI NL INSERT(1004358-00-C) need to be replaced. $400 parts and labor. Invoice attached. This luckily occurred with only me in the car, on 40 degree day and at the charger…I was nearly out of charge. I would have been stranded. And begged a lot of what if’s… The car had just been serviced by Tesla on 11/14/22-11/18/22. Invoice attached. Tesla replaced bolts in steering rack housing when I brought it in for a windshield replacement? Bottom line though this is too critical a failure during such a basic, low speed operation to be safe. I cannot trust that the fore link assembly won’t fail in future in same or different wheel. It felt like the car broke its own leg by merely taking a slow step forward.
