-On the date of Monday XXX at approximately 4:30 pm est I was traveling on [XXX] and transmission felt like a possible slip happened in transmission. At approximatively 4:45pm est I made it home tried to back vehicle into parking space and reverse was lost. Vehicle didn't and wouldn't shift into reverse. I had to push vehicle in spot backwards. No check engine or warning lights were displayed on dash. - On Tuesday XXX. I contacted [XXX] of [XXX] approximately at 8:30 am est. [XXX] answered. I explained the symptoms and asked If I could bring in within the hour or so. He stated it would be fine to bring in. - At approximately 9:10 am est My girlfriend and [XXX] daughter got in vehicle. Started vehicle no service lights were on, but had no reverse still no reverse. My girlfriends mother was following us to pick us up at dealership as we dont have a 2nd vehicle. We started out driveway to [XXX]. I had no problems at 1st then prior to the intersection of [XXX] the Vehicle lost control on its own. The sequences happened fast and abrupt. 1. Vehicle downshifted roughly to about 3 gear 2. Lost power steering 3. engine over revved 4. vehicle pulled right. During this time as a professional trained driver. I removed us off [XXX] off road way on to [XXX] (To the right) to avoid being in an accident. I would say that the speed was roughly 20MPH at turn as I was avoiding the accident that could of potentially happened. I was not on asphalt the whole time to make turn as I had a limited vehicle (Not properly functional). I was able to stop at [XXX] to stop. Stopped on Brigantine is when I pointed out to my girlfriend that the lights just came on. in the meantime, we received a phone call from [XXX] (Girlfriends mom) asking where we went as she didn't see us. We explained to her situation, and she met on Brigantine and followed us to dealership. INFORMATION REDACTED PURSUANT TO THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6)

2015 Chevrolet Tahoe Summerville, SC

STEERING

While driving, the vehicle experienced a total loss of power steering, accompanied by a 'Power Steering: Drive with Care' dashboard alert. The steering wheel became extremely heavy and difficult to maneuver. Simultaneously, the ABS and brake warning lights illuminated. Although I managed to bring the vehicle to a safe stop, a subsequent repair attempt failed to resolve the issue. The vehicle remains undriveable as the intermittent failure persists, creating a severe safety hazard.

Car got stuck between gears while driving on the road. The vehicle accelerated by itself almost causing me to crash. I immediately pulled over into a business and put the truck in park. The car stayed on. It turned on and off but would not shift gears. Would not go from park to reverse or drive. And unfortunately the “warranty” only cover 60k miles. Conveniently right before this well known issue goes out. The main issue was Pressure Control Solenoid C Stuck On. This issue is an issue many people are having and since it is a drivetrain issue this can affect many lives while on the road.

I am having power steering issues. I reached out to Chevrolet and they said in their system the recall was performed in 2019 prior to me purchasing the vehicle in 2021. I should not have to pay for an issue that was recalled. I’m unaware of what was done prior to my purchase of the vehicle in 2021

STEERING

My 2023 Chevrolet Tahoe LS has experienced repeated service issues within the first year of ownership. The vehicle has been in the repair shop five separate times and out of service for approximately five months total. Due to extended repair periods, the mileage remains extremely low. A primary concern involved the steering system. The steering wheel was noticeably off-center while driving straight, requiring continuous correction to maintain proper lane position. Steering-related components were inspected and replaced. There were no warning lights present at the time. However, improper steering alignment raised safety concerns regarding vehicle tracking and stability. The vehicle has been inspected and repaired by authorized service providers. I am submitting this complaint to determine whether this reflects a broader safety-related issue with this model year.

Since 15,394 miles vehicle has experience multiple system failures upon vehicle startup. 2/24, 2/25, 12/25, 1/26. In all of these 4 instances the brakes become spongy/hard, steering wheel locks, and I am not able to control vehicle. Dash lights up; "Brake system failure - 43mph top speed", "Fwd collision system unavailable", "Service traction control", "Service ESC", "Service steering column lock", "Service brake pad monitor". Dealership has replaced, Telematic control module, Electronic brake control module (EBCM), Serial data gateway module, Park assist module and most recently they replaced the battery and cleared the codes to "fix" the same intermittent but recurring condition. The car was parked totally normal, went into a store, then came out to start it and when it was put in drive every light on the dash came on and gave a warning for “brake system failure top speed 43 mph” “service traction control” “service esc” “service steering column lock” “service brake pad monitor” “trailer brakes disabled service required”. Shut the vehicle off and restarted with same results. Brakes were inoperable and almost hit the car parked in front of me. Let the car shut down for a couple hours came back and started it and now everything acts normal except there is a Check engine light. Haven’t read the codes yet but am making an appointment at the dealer for warranty work.

The car presented steering lock column issues with repair lights on at 50 miles. Since then, they have repaired the system numerous times and replaced that system fully twice. They also replaced the manual start system and six other pieces of the car over 18 visits to two different Chevy dealerships. The car still reduces speed and stops acceleration, has electric issues in the windows, lights and gate etc.

I took it to Riverside Chevrolet to get a diagnostic on it because my steering wheel is locked all the lights on the dashboard are on in the vehicle is not drivable almost a month and a half of Riverside Chevrolet and they could not get a diagnostic on it. Apparently the technicians there were not able to figure out what’s wrong with it. The vehicle is not drivable and it is a safety hazard
