The manufacturer's label under the hood states only add 134y refrigerant to the cooling system but the service port is not the correct size. I bought an adapter and added the 134a refrigerant and my cars cooling system isn't working correctly and my car ran hot as well as I had to replace a temperature sensor. After doing research others have had this issue because the system is made for r1234yf refrigerant.

I am reporting a serious public safety concern involving Walmart Auto Care Center in Waterford, CT, after tire installation on my 2023 Dodge Challenger. Walmart installed four new Michelin tires on 05/12/2026 after Walmart.com order #[XXX]. On [XXX], a missing front passenger-side locking lug nut was discovered. I photographed the missing lug nut area and reported the issue to Walmart. When I returned to the Waterford Walmart Auto Care Center on 06/12/2026, the Tire/Lube department manager stated that Walmart associates do not tighten or torque locking lug nuts because of a prior incident where a locking-lug key broke inside a customer’s wheel. This was never disclosed to me before service and was not posted for consumers. On 06/24/2026, the same department manager confirmed that statement in front of an assistant store manager during a recorded in-person interaction. During that same interaction, after I stated the vehicle has five lug nuts per wheel, the assistant store manager stated words to the effect that I could safely drive with only three lug nuts. My concern is not only reimbursement. This appears to be a serious vehicle safety issue: customers may be leaving a tire service department with missing, unsecured, or untorqued locking lug nuts, without being warned that all lug nuts were not properly secured. Lug nuts secure the wheel to the vehicle. A wheel or tire assembly failure at roadway speeds could endanger the vehicle occupants and the public. I have scheduled an independent inspection with Karns Automotive for 07/06/2026 to evaluate Walmart’s tire work and related wheel-safety concerns. Walmart Ethics/Safety reference: [XXX]. My vehicle was parked in the driveway with a car cover over it and it caught on fire. The fire appeared to have started by the driver side headlight area and quickly ignited and burnt the whole front end of the car. The fire department showed up to put the fire out and they did not see any foul play. Surveillance camera shows the car catching on fire on it own without anyone near it. The last time it was driven it was a week ago. No after market parts in the car either, it’s all stock with very low miles or 12K.

I purchased the vehicle which had minor passenger door damage under $500. There were false reports on Copart and Autobidmaster about the vehicle. They lied and said the vehicle was 91.2 percent damaged. The businesses are false. They admitted insanity as their fraudulent motivation. The title should be clean title and the door has been completely repaired. The title to the vehicle should be in my name. Car is ready to be registered. The reports from State Farm Insurance, Copart and Autobidmaster were what they said were false attempts to keep me from registering my vehicle I purchased. This has been ongoing since February 2025 and they are the guilty party.

This make/model/year has many issues of windshield cracking. My car windshield was fine, no issues, I went to the garage to uncover it to drive and there was a crack among the passenger edge about 9 inches. I researched if this was a recall/known issue. No recall but many many issues amongst owners of this car, in the exact same location for no apparent reason. They are saying it IS a build issue. Window cracking in Dodge Challengers, especially 2023 models, is a widespread issue linked to potential body flexing/twisting from manufacturing defects, causing stress cracks in the windshield; it's often a factory/assembly defect, not just typical wear. Dodge will NOT fix my windshield, they state there is only a 12 month glass warranty. I purchased my car in May of 2024. It only has 3000 miles on it and there is NO evidence of debris causing this. If you google, you will see how bad this is and it is affecting these cars everywhere.

On August 7, 2025, at approximately 11:30 PM, my 2014 Dodge Challenger caught fire in the trunk area where the battery is located. I had just parked at my location and was about to get out of the car when I noticed a strong burning smell and smoke coming from the rear. Flames were visible inside the trunk. The fire damaged the trunk interior, wiring, and surrounding components, but the battery still functioned afterward. There were no warning lights or prior issues before the incident. This poses a serious safety hazard and could have caused injury or further damage if it had occurred while driving.

2017 Dodge Challenger 392. my radiator fan motor seized, causing the fan blades to explode sending plastic pieces into the radiator and other fuel lines. The fuel lines were my biggest concern because of fire. however, it did not. Next the repairs at a certified Dodge dealership cost me over $5,500. in damages to repair. This is a very known issue with Dodge SRT models. Furthermore, not even a month later the other fan seized and exploded apart, once again causing complete failure of my 1 month old radiator, causing another $5,000 in damages to repair. THIS is a very well known issue on forums across the USA. Thank you

At 7k miles my windshield cracked sitting in the driveway. I have done some research and there are plenty of examples of 2023 Dodge Challengers having this issue. It is because of a manufacturing defect in the glass. I contacted Dodge and the dealership and they've claimed this damage is known and even inspected to prove it was not caused by an impact. Dodge also will not replace it under warranty even tho it is a manufacturing defect.

Got into my vehicle Saturday 4-19-25 and hit the start button and my front windshield cracked!!! A lot of people are having the same issue if you look on the dodge hellcat forum.

I own a 2023 Dodge Challenger R/T with approximately 9,200 miles. Recently, while the vehicle was parked, I discovered a significant crack in the front windshield originating from the passenger side edge with a length of approximately 10 inches. Notably, there are no visible signs of impact, such as rock chips or debris damage, indicating the crack developed spontaneously. This sudden failure compromises the structural integrity of the windshield, potentially reducing protection in the event of a collision and distorting visibility, thereby posing a safety risk. I took the vehicle to Hendrick Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram in Concord, NC, where the dealership visually confirmed the crack. However, they denied warranty coverage, citing that the issue occurred beyond the 12-month coverage window. No prior warning lights, messages, or symptoms indicated any issues before the windshield cracked. Upon researching, I found that other owners of 2023 Dodge Challengers have reported similar spontaneous windshield cracks without any impact, suggesting a potential manufacturing defect. For instance, a user on a Challenger forum reported a 6-inch crack on the passenger side of their windshield, which appeared without any impact and extended halfway across the windshield by the end of the day. I believe this issue may be related to inadequate windshield adhesion or stress from body flex, possibly due to manufacturing defects. I am submitting this complaint to bring attention to a potential safety defect that may affect other vehicles of the same model and year.

Was driving out of the parking lot when I started to drive I felt the car shifted then the engine light came on.Took it to auto zone the next day and they said it’s an incorrect gear rotation on their scanner. The car feels fine when I drive and it’s not shaking at all.

I’m not sure if anyone has reported Dodge ( Challengers ) windshields unexpectedly without impact cracking. I’m seeing it a lot on the 2023 years my windshield cracked without impact, my brother also has a 2023 scatpack and his windshield cracked not even a week after purchasing the car. My cousin and uncle both have a 2016 and both windshields are cracked. I’m seeing a lot of videos on social media with people getting challengers and their windshields are cracked aswell there is no ways it’s a coincidence.
