My child got into the back passenger seat and wasn’t able to click her seatbelt into the buckle. I used a flashlight to see if something had gotten stuck in it, there’s nothing. It simply won’t click in. The red button can be pressed down but won’t allow the seatbelt to go into it. I used this same seatbelt and could buckle into both other buckles.

I recently purchased this vehicle. The driver seatbelt does not retract snugly when fastened. The tensioner is not working. I am afraid it will not hold me if I crash. I will fix this. It is a serious safety issue!

Drivers side, front seatbelt buckle is not latching properly without multiple attempts. Release latch seems to stick when depressed to release the belt, so then will not latch the next time it is inserted.

Sunroof will not close and every time it rains it leaks so much to the point that it’s going to cause more electrical issues. I will not take this back to the Randy Marion dealership in west Jefferson NC they also sold me this car with a bad transmission which ended back up in the shop for 3 plus months. They were completely incompetent about handling the situation. So I will not go back to them. Also they sold this cat with seatbelts that are so lose if I were to have a wreck I would probably go through the windshield. They didn’t want to repair that without me handling the bill.

The cars electrical system has failed multiple times while driving leading to no headlights , brake lights and all other electrical components. we have had vehicle serviced by multiple different mechanics including ford dealership however problem persists shortly after repair each time. vehicle does not display any forewarning of failure such as no check engine lights or any indication that anything is wrong. all services and inspections show nothing is wrong however vehicle service records show electrical system and battery serviced/changed multiple time due to reoccurring problem. manufacturer says that our vin is not included in the recall however vehicle has all same issues as recalls from May 2014 to July 2015 .Vehicle was manufactured April 04,2015. how are vehicle does not fall under any of these recalls is beyond my understanding , at this point in time vehicle does not run due to multiple mechanics being unable to pin point or fix electrical issues. Would like vehicle reinspected for any of these recalls and car fixed and safe to drive.

WE BOUGHT THIS CAR USED WITH 33000 MILES. IT NOW HAS 46000 MILES. AT 37000 MILES THE PASSENGER SEAT BELT STARTED TO RANDOMLY LOCK UP. IT WOULD PIN MY WIFE TO THE SEAT BACK. EVERY TIME WE HAD TO STOP THE CAR TO UNBUCKLE, THEN FEED THE BELT BACK INTO THE MECHANISM TO PULL IT BACK OUT. IF SHE LEANED FORWARD TO ADJUST THE RADIO IT WOULD SOMETIMES LET OUT AN INCH OR TWO OR THREE, THEN LOCK. WE THEN HAD TO STOP THE CAR, UNBUCKLE AND FEED IT BACK IN, THEN START OVER. SOMETIMES IT LOCKS IN PLACE AS SOON AS SHE BUCKLES UP BE FORE I START THE CAR. SOMETIMES IT WILL GO SEVERAL DAYS WITH NO ISSUE. OUR LOCAL DEALER IS MULLINAX FORD OF OLYMPIA WA.THEY REPLACED IT UNDER THE 50000MILE SAFETY WARRANTY. IT DID NOT FIX THE ISSUE. IT STILL RANDOMLY LOCKED UP AND WE HAVE TO STOP THE CAR TO UNBUCKLE AND FEED IT BACK IN. THEY RE[PLACED IT AGAIN. IT STILL LOCKS UP. I TRIED MOVING THE ADJUSTABLE UPPER ANCHOR POINT. THAT SEEMS TO FIX THE PROBLEM FOR THAT DAY. THE NEXT DAY ITS BACK. THEY CLAIM THERE IS NOTHING WRONG. "THIS IS NORMAL." MY 1973 PINTO DID NOT DO THIS, NOR DID MY 1993 AEROSTAR OR MY 1985 PONTIAC. MY 1993 F150 PICK UP DOES NOT ACT LIKE THIS. MY CONCERN IS THAT IN THE EVENT OF A CRASH SHE WILL BE STUCK IN THE CAR IF THE RELEASE BUTTON IN DAMAGED OR UNREACHABLE. I CAN'T BELIEVE THIS IS NORMAL. MY DAUGHTER INFORMS ME THAT THE RIGHT SIDE REAR BELT HAS STARTED TO DO THIS. SO BOTH BELTS ON THE RIGHT SIDE HAVE ISSUES, BUT NOT THE LEFT SIDE. WHAT IS WRONG WITH THESE BELTS? IS THERE A DESIGN OR PRODUCTION CHANGE THAT NEEDS CORRECTION? PLEASE INVESTIGATE. I HAVE SUPPORTING DOCUMENTATION INCLUDING EMAILS WITH FORD, BUT YOUR SYSTEM WILL NOT ACCEPT THEM DUE TO FILE SIZE. I'LL TRY ANYWAY. NOPE. PLEASE CONTACT ME. I CAN EMAIL OR FAX THEM TO YOU. IT HAPPENS AT ANY SPEED 0 TO 70 AT ANY THROTTLE OR BRAKE SETTING.
