I was driving with my wife on the highway on June 26th, 2021. As I was going around a turn to the right I had a warning come up saying to service advance trac. Right as that happened my steering wheel locked up straight almost causing me to crash. I do not know what could have caused this. I have gotten both my battery and alternator checked and they both are completely fine. I am getting my recall taken care of on Thursday July the 6th so it will be looked over then to see what may have been the cause of it but a toe link would not cause something like this to happen. I WAS DRIVING TO BURLINGTON MA ON AUGUST 29, 2019 AND, WHILE MAKING A RIGHT TURN TO ENTER ONTO RTE 3 NORTHBOUND, I LOST ALL MY POWER STEERING. WHEN I WRESTLED THE CAR INTO MY DRIVEWAY AT HOME, I SHUT IT OFF, WAITED A MINUTE AND RESTARTED THE CAR. THE DASH IDIOT LIGHT WAS OFF AND THE POWER STEERING WAS WORKING. I HAVE NOT USED AND DON'T PLAN ON USING THE CAR UNTIL THIS PROBLEM IS FIXED. I MADE AN APPOINTMENT TO HAVE THIS PROBLEM DIAGNOSED AND REPAIRED ON SEPTEMBER 9, 2019. I BELIEVE THE CAUSE OF THE CATASTROPHIC FAILURE IS RELATED TO THE SENSORS ON THE STEERING WHEEL COLUMN THAT COMMUNICATE WITH THE COMPUTER WHICH CONTROLS THE ELECTRIC RACK AND PINION SYSTEM.
