The contact stated while driving at an undisclosed speed, the Lane Keep Assist feature steered the vehicle to the left while the vehicle was driving inside the lane. The Lane Keep Assist warning light was illuminated. Additionally, the vehicle also experienced a loss of power steering assist. The contact stated that the failure occurred after the vehicle drove over a pothole. The contact also stated that the dealer had previously replaced the front-end bracket after another vehicle struck the front end while the vehicle was parked and unoccupied in a parking lot. The vehicle was taken to a second dealer, Escude Chevrolet of Easley (5010 Old Easley Bridge Rd, Easley, SC 29642), but the cause of the failure could not be determined. The contact was informed that the tires were the incorrect size for the vehicle. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. 265 ./ 45 R21 on our 2022 Blazer AWD Premier. I have the tires rotated every 10,000 miles and the vehicle only has 30,600 miles and all 4 tires have worn out, down to 2/32 or 3/32. I have owned 20+ GM vehicles over the past 25 years and I have never had to replace a tire due to tread wear before 45,000-50,000 miles. This is an expensive mid-range SUV and should not have junk tires. It is also my first GM vehicle that has Continental tires. The replacement Continental tire is $370 each. These are expensive tires and the SUV costs more that $55K, this is not ok. I see there is one other complaint filled for tires, but most consumers don’t know this web site exists. I would not except we I called Chevy customer service, they recommend that i file a complaint. I also don’t think most Blazers have 21 tires, i order this vehicle from Chevy with this as an upgrade option. Please research this tire brand and model as well as 2022 Blazer AWD Premiers with 21 tires an i think you will see this is a pervasive problem. Thank you.

This is for all four of the Continental Crosscontact LX Sport tires, size P 235/ 85 R18 with about 22,800 miles on them. These were the original tires that came with our 2020 Chevrolet Blazer. While driving on dry roads the car felt like it was on marbles, wanting to wiggle on the road. We took it to our locale Chevy dealership, they took a short look at the tires, and told us to have them replaced very soon. I started do research on new tires and also found out that Continental had put out a Voluntary tire recall there, this was for 93,959 of their passenger tires. But only certain mold dates and serial numbers were on this list. We had only one of our four tires on their list. All four tires had the same wear pattern, the outside tread of each tire had worn down to approximately 0.150", with the inside of tire tread at approximately 0.205". Probably near normal wear for a 22,800 mile tire. To me the malfunction was with the outside tire breaking down and becoming weak, causing the excessive wear and unstable driving experience, putting the car at risk of accident and all passengers in it. We replaced them with Goodyear Maxlife tires. One of the tires with the serial #[XXX] was on the recall list, Continental paid for it to be returned to them, and verified that it was on recall, they are to pay us for 1/2 of its life. Contacting them again, I told them again that all the tires had the same wear pattern. They then asked for the other 3 remaining tires to inspect. After they inspected the other 3 tires they have denied any other claims of defects on those tires. I do not have any tire to show you now, but Continental's records should show the tire wear as I have stated. Of the 3 tires, 2 of the tires not recalled were A3LM WD30 dated 08-20, serial #[XXX] and [XXX], and the third tire A3LM WD30 dated 12-20 with serial #[XXX]. Upon inspection when repairing a flat at a tire service center, I was alerted to the fact that my tread on all 4 tires was low almost to the wear markings. The tires only had at the time 15,000 miles on them and the car is less than 3 years old. I would have not known to check this as it is not in the usual lifespan of a tire, especially on a new car. When reviewing my past inspections at service appointments with my Chevrolet dealership, I can see that they have noted the wear but not alerted me. My tire size is 235/65 R18.

The tread-wear has been described by the service department as unusual and they have never seen a tire wear like this before. My safety and others safety is put at risk due to loss of tread causing traction to be lost on damp or wet roadways. The problem has been confirmed by the dealership service department. New 2020 Chevy Blazer AWD Premier with OEM Continental CrossContact LX Sport tires in size 265/45R21. Car has 18,000 miles on it and tires have been rotated and inflated correctly. All 4 tires have tread depth near 2/32 and need to be replaced per tire shop. Come to find out this Continental brand of tires has no treadlife warranty at all so they don't even believe in their product. How can Chevy and Continental be allowed to put this tire on new cars to rip off the consumer. I'm going to have to buy 4 new tires on a car that has 18,000 miles on it. This should not be happening. It's also a safety concern for others on the road that aren't aware they need to check their tire tread depth so soon with these tires.

I purchased this vehicle on June 26, 2020. When the vehicle was serviced on May 13, 2021 it had 8,366 miles on it and the tread wear was recorded at 6/32". In late June/early July 2021, I noticed the rear end of the vehicle seemed to slide around corners which lead me to research on the internet the Michelin tires that were on the vehicle. I found a GM Service Bulletin 19-NA-078 dated January 2020 that found issues with these tires. The vehicle's alignment was fixed and that problem seemed to go away. The vehicle was serviced on October 29, 2021 and I was told new tires were needed before winter driving. The tread measurement was 5/32". I told the service department that I wanted to talk to Michelin about this because I felt their tires should last longer. On October 29, the vehicle had 13,332 miles on it. I spoke to a Michelin representative on Monday, November 8th after scanning and emailing in the service records from October 29th showing the tread measurement to be 5/32". The Michelin representative acknowledged that they did have the service records and the only thing needed was a phone call from Bergstrom - Middleton WI, an authorized Michelin dealer. Bergstrom was confident additional information would be needed on the tires and asked that I schedule an appointment to come back in with the vehicle. I did that today. Today I was told by Bergstrom that nothing could be done because the tires were at 5/32". The current mileage on my vehicle is less than 14,000 miles and all 4 of these tires need to be replaced. It appears from what I could find on the internet, a "safe tire" is one that has at least 6/32" tire tread so these tires, which I might add should not have worn out at 14,000 miles, are no longer safe. What boggles my mind is that this has been a known issue with these tires since January 2020, before I even purchased the vehicle. I feel mislead and given the run-around by GM and Michelin.
