out on schedule across the whole fleet — the kind of pattern no single

The contact's husband owned a 2019 Chevrolet Colorado. The contact stated that while her husband was driving and she was a passenger, their vehicle shuddered and then lost power at approximately 55 MPH. The vehicle was guided to the side of the road, where the contact and her husband noticed smoke emerging near the gear shift. For safety reasons, they both exited the vehicle and moved away from it. The contact then observed flames appearing between the driver's side of the cab and the bed of the vehicle, which quickly burst into flames. Another motorist attempted to extinguish the fire with an extinguisher, but it ran out before the fire could be contained, and the vehicle became fully engulfed in flames. Although the police were called, a formal report was not filed. The fire department arrived and extinguished the fire. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 41,000.

My radio is hooked up with my reverse camera, it has been malfunctioning for about a year now. When I place my truck in reverse and the reverse camera comes on it only displays it for 3 seconds than turns immediately off. This is causing a safety issue. I depend on this radio and camera to work properly. They dealer have to assume responsibility over this matter.i took my truck the dealership right 104 thousand miles, the dealership is charging me humongous amounts of cash to have the safety concern fixed.

POWER TRAIN
I pulled off the dealer lot with 3 miles on the odometer, came to a stop sign and damn near smacked my face on the steering wheel due to a hard downshift from 2nd to 1st gear. Pulled back into the lot and was told that "I have to break it in". As I laughed in his face, I knew I messed up buying a GM product. 20 miles down the road, I start getting transmission shutter during light acceleration. Took it back to the dealer and they ended up changing the fluid. As I was coming to a stop to pull in my driveway, the transmission hard shifted and threw me past the driveway. Took it back in to hear "Yep, that is GM acceptable". I am now having transmission shutter so bad, the truck will barely accelerate at 30mph or faster. This truck is absolute junk and I tell everyone I know, not to buy a GM truck. I will never buy an American made truck until they are made in America again, as they are overpriced and don't last. I want my money back!

I WAS DRIVING ON HIGHWAY WHEN I NOTICED SEVERAL PEOPLE PASSING ME ON THE RIGHT AND POINTING DOWN AT MY TRUCK. I REMEMBER MY TRUCK HAD SLOWED DOWN AND WHEN I WENT TO PRESS ON THE GAS AND MOVE TO THE RIGHT LANE TO PULL OVER IT DID NOT RESPOND. I THEN NOTICED SMOKE FILLING THE CABIN THAT WAS COMING FROM UNDERNEATH AND UP THROUGH THE TRANSMISSION STICK. WHEN I HIT THE BRAKES THEY WENT RIGHT TO THE FLOOR. I ENDED UP USING THE EBRAKE TO SLOW THE TRUCK DOWN AND PULL TO THE SIDE. WHEN I EXITED THE VEHICLE IT WAS ALREADY ON FIRE AND I PROCEEDED TO MOVE MYSELF TO SAFETY. A PASSING FIREMAN TRIED TO USE AN EXTINGUISHER TO PUT OUT THE FIRE TO NO AVAIL. THE TRUCK ONLY HAD 14000 MILES ON IT AND WAS TWO YEARS OLD WITH NO RECENT WORK DONE TO IT AT ALL

Transmission is shuddering, I had a transmission flush done, and a tune up, and neither helped. I am concerned the transmission is going to go out while driving, especially in a busy intersection and cause an accident. I have had problems with the vehicle no accelerating when need going uphill to get out of the way of traffic when turning. Problem is duplicated every day until I can get it fixed. It has been looked at by a dealership and other personal mechanic shops. No lights on the dash have appeared.

SAFETY RISK: On XXX, brake pedal suddenly lost assist while my son merged onto XXX from [XXX]. Pedal effort/stopping distance increased with no warning - high risk of collision merging into highway traffic. CONFIRMED BY DEALER: Yes. Chapman Chevrolet confirmed vacuum pump failure and camshaft damage, consistent with GM TSB 21-NA-268 (drive-lug failure). OTHER INSPECTIONS: Dealer only so far; not yet by GM, police, or insurance. Available if needed. PRIOR SYMPTOMS: None. There were no warning lamps, messages, or other symptoms prior to the sudden brake assist failure on 7/1/26. The infotainment system is not functioning. The screen will come on as I turn on the truck, then it goes blank. Sometimes it flashes and then goes black. I cannot use any of my apps or connect to Apple CarPlay. This has been going on for months now. I have complained to Chevrolet and the dealership. They have failed to provide a solution. This truck only has 35,000 miles on it. We can no longer take it on trips because we have no navigation, especially in areas where wi-fi may be hard to connect to by just our phones. We have followed all the trouble shooting provided in the Chevy app or online and nothing helps.

I purchased my truck from Karl Chevrolet in Ankeny, IA around September of 2019. Approximately 1.5 years after purchasing the vehicle, I began having issues with my infotainment system intermittently resetting itself while I was driving. On or about the end of 2021 (after this had occurred a few time), I brought the truck into the Karl Chevrolet in Ankeny, IA, as it seemed to become more frequent of an occurrence. The technician told me that this thing happens all the time with the infotainment systems and it was nothing to be concerned about and because it was intermittent, they may not be able to identify the issue unless it was actively occurring and I was told to come back in if it continued to happen. Shortly after, I had moved to [XXX] in April of 2022, I began to have more frequent issues with the infotainment system randomly resetting and eventually it began impacting phone calls, where people would cut in and out or disconnect, beginning to cause even more of a safety and distraction issue. After conducting some of my own research, I learned that I was not the only one that had issues with the infotainment system in the 2019 Colorado and that GM had published several Technical Service Bulletins (TSBs) regarding the infotainment system, and there had been a class action lawsuit, [XXX] , et al. v. General Motors LLC, that covers the same issues I am having. On January 29, 2025, after the issue progressively getting worse, I took the truck to Gregg Young Chevrolet in Omaha, NE. After conducting a diagnosis they verbally confirmed there were TSBs regarding radio issues that after contacting the GM service center, GM's response was to replace the radio. This was to be at my own cost however, considering GM confirmed through TSBs there are issues with the infotainment system, coupled with safety concerns around distracted driving, I felt compelled to make this complaint. In and out of the shop for the last 3.5 years (Warranty is expired now) with multiple engin codes (CEL). Most having to do with the fuel delivery systems. Most common P026D, and P1089. It has been in the shop at least 6 or more times. GM won't stand by their product. Since the warranty ended I've put mor than $4,000 in to repairs for this and now I'm told it will cost me anouther $6000 to $7000 to repair. I bout this truck used with 60,000 miles on it and paid cash $50,000 to the dealer the originally sold it to the previous owner. I just want them to fix the issue once and for all. To date they have just thrown parts at it but it never fixes the problem. They have changed the MAP sensor, the fuel rail and pressure regulator, the injectors, and they've re-wired part of the wiring harness. None of this has solved the issues.

I recognized it as a persistent problem, and I was no longer comfortable driving the vehicle and feared that it would shut down while driving. I took my vehicle for diagnostic and maintenance at a local service center who also noticed that the transfer case "is making an unusual squeaking noise when driving".
