Tire size 275 65 R20 entire tread came completely off the tire & caused damage to my fender & fender well. This tire had approximately 29,830 miles on it. It was 1 of the original tires from the factory on this truck.

Wrangler Trailrunner AT LT275/65R20 were on the truck when I purchased my new 2021 Chevy 2500. I only have 25K miles on it. I was driving on the interstate and the tread came off the tire tore my wheel base apart and damaged back of truck along with scratches on the side by wheel also tore wheel trim off.

LT265/60R20 121S E Yokohama Geolander AT4, manufacturer date of 2924. While driving south on Interstate 95, the driver’s side rear tire sidewall blew out, inside sidewall. The tires have approximately 14000 miles on them. There were no sidewall defects noticed approximately 4000 miles prior during a tire rotation. Nothing was hit in the roadway and proper pressure is maintained in all tires. There was no indication, tpms warning, that the tire was losing pressure prior to the blow out. There does not appear to be any damage to the tread area of the tire. Control of the vehicle was maintained to a stop in the breakdown lane. There were no injuries.

The contact owns a 2008 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 equipped with Bridgestone Tires, Tire line: Dueler A/T Revo 3, Tire size: LT265/75/R16, DOT Number: 9BW8 RE3. The contact stated that the tires were purchased in California. The vehicle was driven back home to Idaho, where the TPMS alarm sounded. The vehicle was taken to the dealer for an oil change and the vehicle was inspected, and the contact was informed that the rear tire was flagged and was informed that the tire needed to be removed. The tire was not removed. The contact notified the manufacturer, and the contact was referred to a Firestone location for an inspection. The manufacturer was informed that there were no Firestone locations nearby. The manufacturer approved the contact to take the vehicle to a Commercial Tire shop for an inspection. The vehicle was taken to the Commercial Tire Shop, and the contact was informed that all four tires were dangerous and needed to be replaced. The tread on the rear passenger’s tire was worn, the sidewalls of another tire were falling apart, and the tread and sidewalls on the other tires were separating. All four tires were replaced. The manufacturer was notified that the tires were replaced, and a claim was filed. The vehicle failure mileage was 169,508.

These tires are good year wrangler trail runner at size lt275/65 r20. My total mileage on these tires was 40970These were the original tires that were installed when the truck was purchased new. My tires are rotated every 5000 miles. Tire pressure is maintained at the exact pressure. I was driving on an interstate at 70 mph. A vibration started. I checked the tire pressure monitors and all showed normal pressures - I stopped and observed the tires were no longer round but had bulges to one side of the tread surface Both are likely to blowout and have to be replaced Two did this same thing in last 2 weeks

Three of four original Goodyear Wrangler TrailRunner AT tires (DOT 0222) on my 2022 GMC Sierra 3500 have experienced catastrophic tread separations under normal use with 28,095 miles. The first two failed under warranty and were replaced at my expense; the third failed at highway speed, causing vehicle damage and a $1,000 insurance deductible plus additional cost to replace the tire. The dealership advised GM sent the failed tires for analysis, but GM denies receiving or reviewing them. I bought tires from Walmart.com website in July 15 2023 and had them installed on a 2005 Chevrolet 2500 HD pickup. This was at the Walmart Laramie store. Between that time and Fall of 2024 one of the tires had a flat and Walmart Laramie, Wy replaced it. On October 7 2024 going to Riverton, Wy. the right rear passenger tire had a blow out. This was on I-80 going west towards Rawlins. It scared the beejeezus out of my young grandchildren. Four hours later, it was replaced with the spare (I did not have a jack in the vehicle and called a tow company). I took the tire to Walmart Riverton and they told me in the tire center that the tire was too badly damaged. They wondered where I had bought the tires. I told them in Laramie at Walmart. They looked me up online and found the tires. They told me they could not replace the tire although it was under warranty. The problem was that they are car tires and not light truck tires!!! They told me to call up Laramie Walmart and the tire manager would take care of me. I went home and did so. Jackson the tire manager said he wasn't going to replace them and that it was all my fault and that I forced them to put those tires on! He lied to me about what happened with the tires and them installing them. I went back to Riverton Walmart and again talked to the tire manager (Tyrone). He said that he would talk to the store Manager and they would make it right. He said he would order the correct ones, install them and then charge the Laramie store. I'm not driving the vehicle anywhere. What can I do about it? I know nothing about tires and have never been a tire company employee. This has been going on for months. Last week the Riverton store said they could mount and balance tires for free but I would have to seek a refund from the Laramie store to reimburse me after I buy new tires for $1200. I live on Social Security of $1229 a month!! 2 of 4 tires have failed and I don't have anywhere near the 60,000 miles warranty Can you help us?

I was driving to an event and I noticed my truck was pulling slightly. As I pulled onto the freeway and accelerated, I felt and heard a thumping sound but could not distinguish it between the pattern in the freeway or an issue with a tire. I continued to accelerate and the tire blew at about 55 mph. I was pulling a 5th wheel in a construction zone and was not immediately able to safely pull off the roadway. Extensive damage was done to the body of the truck with a current estimate at $4,832.18. The rim and tire were also destroyed with the rim being valued at $841.08 and tire at $408.

Tire = LT275/65R20. After 20 minutes on surface streets in 98° weather, entered freeway and heard a "thumping" sound every second at about 45 mph. Appeared to be the freeway but after accelerating to about 55 mph a loud bang was heard and the tire blew. This was a catastrophic failure where the tread fully separated from the wheel and did substantial damage to the side and wheel well of the truck. The rim was also damaged beyond repair.

The contact owns a 2003 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 equipped with Prinx Tires, Tire Line: High Country, Tire Size: 245/75/R16, DOT Number: 04N18HTPC1323. The contact had the tires rotated by an independent mechanic. Upon inspection of the tires, the contact discovered cracks along the base of the tire treads on all four tires. The contact notified the mechanic about the defect and was given a credit for the remaining mileage on the tires warranty. The contact notified the manufacturer about the failure through voicemail and email; however, the contact never received a response. The contact stated that the four tires were replaced. The tire failure mileage was 21,942. The vehicle failure mileage was 342,422.

Tires lt275/65r20 is the size. I purchased my truck Oct 2023. The day after i got home. I noticed a bulge in the sidewall of the front tire. I took it to the dealer the next day and they replaced it. But not after they accused me of hitting something. Luckily i had the picture the salesman had sent prior to me purchasing the truck and it was visible there. So a few weeks noticed 2 tires had same problem. Dealer again tried to say it was caused by an impact. They would not replace. so i called goodyear who had no problem replacing them at Belle tire. This past sunday, same tires that were replaced had a bulging in the side walls again! Belle tire replaced AGAIN under goodyear warranty but with 2 different good year tires. So I don't know if this is a good year defect or wrong tire being sold for these large trucks. The safety of my family is important to me, and these tires problems are scary. I purchased this truck from Hubler Chevrolet in Indianapolis.

Goodyear Wranger At Trailrunner 275 65R20. I was heading home with my 14 year old daughter Sunday night. When I was merging on the on ramp to the highway and I felt a vibration. So I was in the process of slowing down and boom. My truck went broadside in the highway. I gathered it up and got all together. I don’t have a single dash light on or anything. The tire was still holding air. A matter of fact it still is. But when the tread came off it destroyed my bedside and bumper. My truck only has 32,473 miles on it. The tires are rated for 55,000. I just want something to happen to the manufacturer. If that would’ve happened to the right front it would’ve been bad. Or if it happened to a mom and kids. This is not good.

265/75R16 9100 miles driven mostly on pavement with loads well within the vehicle capacity and never off road. Tires were rotated several months prior, about 100 miles ago and damage was not noted. Bubble appeared on sidewall which was noticed while parked; Tire shop dismounted the tire to inspect for possible causes and found nothing to explain damage (run flat, left deflated, road hazard damage). Secondary bubble slightly smaller on inside at same location. Smaller bubbles were felt inside tire and a longer, slight bubble follows the bead 1/3-1/2 of the diameter of the tire. Shop manager refused to remount tire due to risk to employees of catastrophic failure, indicating the tire poses significant safety risk if vehicle had been at highway speed and completed its deterioration. Mate to this tire on right rear shows same smaller bubble above the bead about 1/3 of tire diameter.
