My son’s car drifted to the right past the white line and he ended up hitting a hydrant and continued at least 100 ft before stopping. Our dash cam showed a slow smooth drift to the right without any lane assist being activated to pull the car back. All safety features were activated and turned on the day we bought the car for him. It was the main reason we chose this model. He is very lucky to be alive. After the impact, the car just barely missed a business sign, a telephone pole and a tree. The car was declared totaled. Unfortunately, the total amount the insurance is offering is about 4k short of what we still owe. Words cannot express how lucky we are that our son is okay, but we are very angry that the features we bought the car for, failed him.

on mopar recall service done shows it had been serviced and bunch of lies i have never taken my 2021 jeep to get serviced for power steering issue. barely came out 1 week ago and crazy service man at BOGGUS TIPTON JEEP in Brownsville texas named Josh, white male wanted to charge 4500 dollars to repair knowing supposibly there was an issue recall and i declined so wanted to charge me 2500 after i declined. he was more than likely gonna charge chrysler and me both ways to make the dealership double the money for a bull**** fix. my jeep has never been in service for the power steering recall. after readings previous comments i think chrysler is lying that the fixed and issue on many customers of recalls. [please check your vin and put a complaint and call chrysler like i am tomorrow and will get an attorney involved for a false fix and claim

For my 2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee, the Antilock braking system, Hydraulic control unit has failed. It is currently being repaired by the dealership, and I will request the old part so that it is available for inspection. The failure of the ABS control unit, disabled the electronic stability control, the forward collision warning system and the cruise control - and the issue appears to be directly equivalent to the current Stellantis recall for Ram 1500's of a similar year. The dealer was able to reproduce the error - and was inspected at a Jeep dealership.

Frequently all lights go on while driving check engine goes on here and there on the highway. Loud noise when you start the car and continues for about 2 min after the car is turned off as well.. All lights went on and was unable To move the vehicle in the middle of a street. I have taken the vehicle in several times to 2 different dealers and I am told there’s nothing wrong with it. In 2022 I attempted to back into a parallel parking space and the emergency braking system kept activating to prevent backing up. Attempted getting corrected at dealer but no trouble codes available. Was driving, slowing down to stop at about 22mph, emergency braking system kicked in, shifted into auto stick, switched back reactivated normal drive. Six months later, was at a stop sign, on green light, turned left from left lane, accelerating to approximately 25mph, suddenly emergency braking activated again, again had to use auto stick to kick out of emergency braking. On many occasions, warning lights come on for no reason. The dealer has "updated" software, but to no avail.. Collision warning, stop/start error, throttle body error and more. On the last event we were driving uphill, approx 25 mph, nobody in front of us, and the brakes slammed on with multiple errors showing.. the car then lurched forward with active breaking, stop start error, throttle body sensor all showing up and going away. This happened 4 times on the evening of Sep 15th. The errors and random and intermittent.. They replaced a "secondary" battery at one point, and that did nothing. They told us we needed to drive it for over 100 miles, to charge the battery, but it did not fix the stop/start or any other error. Now it is in the Cerritos dodge dealer and we have a formal complaint filed with Chrystler.. The dealer states they can't find any problems.. During most of the events, the errors and warning lights do not stay on longer than a few seconds. I have one picture I was able to take when the warning lights stayed on a little longer.

The contact stated that the Lane Keep Assist warning light was illuminated. The vehicle was taken to the local dealer, where it was diagnosed that the steering column needed to be replaced. While driving 45–50 MPH, the power steering became inoperable, and the vehicle shut down. Several unknown warning lights were illuminated. Crossing 4 way intersection with no cars or animals in site and while accelerating at about 40 mph vehicle came to a shuddering halt in the middle of the road for no reason. My husband and I were both thrown forward whipping our necks back and forth and my collar bone taking a direct hit with the seat belt. There were no sounds to warn us, no lights came on it just slammed its own brakes for no reason. My dealership brought me a loaner and vehicle was towed to them where they are working on getting the issue solved, but I am going to be terrified this will happen again and rightly so.

Not the first time but while I am driving the car steering will lock and I can no longer move it. The latest was when I went to see fireworks with my kids and while on the way there I was going to turn and while turning the steering locked and I couldn’t turn anymore so I had to break before I hit a pole but another car almost crashed into me, honked at me, and flicked me off. On the way home I was driving straight and Had to turn but couldn’t because the steering wheel locked and I almost drove into a canal. This is a safety issue that concerns me and I am scared for my life and my kids life and at this point I’m scared to drive because I don’t know when it will lock. I’ve taken it to jeep many times with no solution.

I was sitting in school pick up line with the Jeep off. I started it and everything was normal, until I pulled into the road. The power steering went out and the light on dash said lane management not working needs service. The light for the adaptive lane cruise control came on. I was driving and when I was trying to turn I would have to turn the wheel almost 360°! There was no issues or warnings lights prior to this happening. I called dealer and they got me in the next day. They say it needed a update but it's scary if this just happens without warning, especially if you are on the road.

I was approaching the location where I was about to turn and began to slow down. Out of no where, the forward collision detection system was set off and automatic braking was applied, causing the SUV behind me to go right off the roadway to avoid a rear end collision. Traffic was extremely heavy at the time. The motorist caught up with me at the location I eventually turned into and accused me of slamming on brakes on purpose. I explained to them the malfunction that occured; however, they were still rightfully upset due to them having children in their vehicle, which caused panic. I let them know I would be reaching out to report the situation, as well as turning off the supposed safety feature until the issue could be rectified. This was a very dangerous situation and could have resulted in a major traffic collision, causing serious injury or death. I do have a dashcam video of the incident.
