about 2 years old, I was with my family driving on the freeway when I felt the car veering to the right going off the road. I tried to correct the steering by pulling it to the left. I was not able to correct this steering as it seemed that the steering wheel was lock. I tried stopping the car from going off the road but the brake pedal was very hard to push. It seemed like the car had lose all power. The car went down the hill off the freeway and hit a huge road sign. I was doing 55 to 60 miles per hour and very mush alert. The car finally came to a stop in the middle of the frontage road. We started to push the car and it was hard to push so I attempted to start the car and to my surprise, it started. So I drove it to a safe place and called the police to make a report and the towing service. The damage on the front end of the was over $3,000. This was the first incident. The second incident happen July 2, 2026.My wife and I were traveling on a road with two lanes. It was about 4:30 PM and traffic medium. Suddenly I felt the steering wheel pulling hard to the left going to the left lane. I immediately turned the steering wheel to the right. I felt the steering wheel was very hard to turn the steering to the right. I pulled off the road to check of any problems. The car never shut off and I was able to drive home. I have driven the car several time since the last incident but I on always wary of the same happening again. I did contact the Chrysler dealer the first this happen and They stated that there had been no one reporting of any similar incident.

Florida title record shows 170,520 miles on 07/27/2019 and current brand NOT ACTUAL MILEAGE. Odometer rolled back 71,666 miles. This is federal odometer fraud. The vehicle's LCD screen has become delaminated which causes the control of the radio, air conditioning, navigation, and other features controlled by the "radio" portion of the car to become dysfunctional. The car will randomly beep, change air temperatures, start radio channels to scramble and back up camera works only sporadically. This is a safety hazard as it causes the driver to be distracted in order to attend to the incessant beeping and issues related to AC/heat, navigation or radio (volume, etc.). This appears from Chrysler Forums to be an issue among a large group of Chrysler 300 Year Model 2018 owners. I am encouraging them to file a concern with your group and to ask for a recall of the car for this reason.

The contact stated that shortly after purchasing the vehicle, the vehicle was taken to a dealer for several repairs, and the contact was concerned that there was a mileage discrepancy as per a Carfax Report. The vehicle was a dealer sale. At the time of purchase, the mileage was 117,338; however, the Carfax Report indicated that the mileage was 156,268 in February 2017. The Carfax Report also stated that the odometer had previously been tampered with in 2017 and indicated a mileage of 5,093 instead of 7,542. The contact stated that currently the approximate mileage was 166,801.

As I was driving my car felt like if it went on neutral. I almost crashed. Stopped. Then it would not come off of park. I kept putting it on drive and it automatically kept going into park mode. My car was parked at my house last nite and I came home to fire department at my house extinguishing my car that was engulfed in flames. The fire department said it was electrical fire. They told me they think the battery got to hot and caused the fire. The vehicle will be with progress insurance garage. For inspection. If me or my kids were in the vehicle we would of been either burnt beyond repair or dead. No warning lights at all. No noises nothing it ran perfect. My insurance progressive is taking my vehicle today or tomarrow for inspection.

This issue has been going on since February 2024. The vehicle will completely shutdown while driving ( no matter what speed I'm going ) it will say SERVICE THE SHIFTER and stop. The first time this happened I took (towed bc vehicle willl have no power since this a SAFTEY issue ) the Vero beach Chrysler dealership the vehicle to Commuter Cars in Port St Lucie which is the dealer I purchased the car from. They kept the vehicle for 2 weeks. I paid 644$ they said they replaced the shifter and that was the problem. 2 weeks later the same thing happened while driving , I took ( towed )the car to Chrysler . Chrysler charge me 200$ and said there was nothing wrong it was the safety recalls. 5 months later it happens again I take the car to Chrysler they charged me 1000$ and said it was some type of connecter . A month later it happens again I (towed) it to chysler they said the ECM shifter module had dried up coffee on it and they wiped it off and its working fine. They charge me 445$ said it needed a battery. Now it has happened again 2 months later and they are just now saying my ECM SHIFTER is bad. The service manager was rude and disrespectful. I have our conversation recorded. I said WHY am I just now knowing this after spending thousands of dollars towing this vehicle back and forth. My son and I could have been in a major accident because the car shuts completely down while driving. They never once check this and the car has been to them 4 times.

The rear passenger door light on dash come on stating that the rear door is open and the interior dome light go to flashing as well. When it first occurred, I was on the highway coming back from Indianapolis Indiana with my family and we were afraid the entire way home not knowing if the car would cut off on the highway. Yes, I took it to the dealership they stated that they couldn't do anything unless the problem happen while they had the car of course it never did. no not before just when it occurs even now I may go a week or two without it happening. Just had this problem on my 2019 Chrysler 300. Recall came years after I had it and after I sold it. I got lucky and found out and got a reimbursement for the repair. Recall issued for "faulty Diode on Alternator". Very dangerous b/c the car will just cut out on you when you are trying to accelerate... like crossing a road etc. My 2019 I didn't have long enough to see if it was an issue but now my 2023 Chrysler 300 is doing the same thing. Would not surprise me if it's the same faulty parts for every model. When you accelerate it just putters and loses power. My 2019 I got reimbursed on it had white smoke and ended up burning out another $1000 of electronics that I did NOT get reimbursed for. It's one of those things Idk if they can detect it until it breaks or not.

Chrysler needs to recall this issue. Many people are having this same screen issue. Chrysler, Please do something about this. This has been known to be a safety issue, as when it gets bad enough, the screen will black out. Delamination on screens has been known to cause the screen to black out, especially during backing, and buttons will randomly be pushed. Chrysler, recall this issue. Thank you.

Unknown. The car shut off while driving. Flashing a code put in park and the D on the shifter knob was flashing. Vehicle wouldn't start for about 30 minutes. It was making a loud noise while trying to restart.Then it ran like normal after that. We are not shure but we think the fuel gage and low fuel light are not working properly. We put a few gallons of fuel in it and it started normally with no no loud noise.
