Through a title search that ended up not being my title number at all And forcing me to do even more research I discovered that the vehicle I bought three weeks ago has a report on public record that caused structural damage to my vehicle and I still don’t have a title for this vehicle because Carvana has the title for my vehicle and I’m having problems touching base with them. They seem to be avoiding me. The vehicle is in my front yard available for inspection whenever you feel is necessary the damage to the vehicle happened in [XXX] where it ended up for sale at Carvana and then at wholesale to ADESA and then to a private used Dealership named Motion Motors LLC. I paid $9500 for this vehicle whose price started at $7260 And I know that ADESA deals with structurally damage damaged and junk vehicles. They have every resource at their fingertips to fix repair and restore all such vehicles if found viable. The used car dealership presented me with a title sent me a copy of it that is bogus. The title number actually goes to a 1993 Mercury that was destroyed in March 2012 along with that title number now underneath that title number. My Lincoln is also listed along with that 1993 Mercury under the same title number. Two vehicles I’ve never seen anything like that in my life. The title number printed on the title is XXX. The title for my Lincoln that is available underneath the VIN number is. XXX. Carvana has a title with a totally different title number that is still their title. It was never sent with my truck from [XXX] and it was never changed over to [XXX] and it still hasn’t been meanwhile my temporary Tag and temporary registration expire on August 4 I am going to have a vehicle in my driveway that I can’t drive and don’t own. I would also like to recover $9500 for the purchase of the vehicle that I don’t own. I have any and all documentation of all of this and more. The numbers don’t match the dates don’t make any sense. Something is happening. INFORMATION REDACTED PURSUANT TO THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT (

While driving home from work during rush hour, a warning light illuminated on my dashboard and my vehicle suddenly lost braking ability. When I pressed the brake pedal, the vehicle did not slow or stop. I was forced to pull onto the shoulder of the road and pump the brake pedal extremely hard multiple times before the vehicle finally came to a stop. This occurred in heavy traffic and created an immediate and severe safety risk. The vehicle was towed to a dealership for inspection. I was informed that only a “temporary fix” could be performed, and I was required to pay approximately $500 for this repair in order to regain use of the vehicle. The vehicle has not received a permanent repair, and the dealership has taken several months without completing a permanent fix. I have also been waiting several months for reimbursement of the almost $500 paid for the temporary repair, with no resolution. I am concerned that I was charged for a temporary repair related to a serious safety failure and that continued delays in both reimbursement and permanent repair place me at ongoing risk. I am filing this complaint due to the dangerous nature of the brake failure, the lack of a permanent repair, the extended delay in resolving a critical safety issue, and the financial burden placed on me for a temporary solution.

Catalytic Converter Issues with Ford after Emissions Recall I recently had an emissions recall on my 2016 Lincoln MKX by Ford (25E02) in which the "vehicle has an emissions control system that does not account for certain in-use conditions and might not control tail pipe emissions effectively over time." Now one of the catalytic converters in the car is not working and needs to be replaced. The safety issue is the emissions being released as a result of the emissions control system not working properly for years and damaging the catalytic converter. I believe the company is aware of the issue but is refusing to include catalytic convertors in the recall. This is an environmental hazard that should fall on Ford to resolve.

I have had to replace my rear brake pads, rotors, and the whole braking system (not related to sensors) three times in a year. I received the recall notice after the third time and had a mechanic fix my brake hose as a short-term remedy for my car. Not only does my car have a delay in breaking it is a delay in the monitoring service. Technically the sounds related to my vehicle are not related to braking at all by the speed in which a car slows down before it breaks. In this case that mean if I slam on my breaks the "emergency sound" does not go off. I have a minor fender bender as well due to these two problems associated with my braking system.

Rear back up camera turns blank/ black intermittently when going in reverse. Have seen that multiple other vehicles are being recalled for this issue but not my particular car even tho other 2015 Lincoln MKX are included in recall. Noticed problem about 6 months ago. Often camera screen blank when I need it the most . Have called Ford/ Lincoln twice and told vehicle has no recalls. This problem is definitely a safety issue so no car or person gets hit .

Backup camera will be upside down at times and this seems to happen when you really need the help of the camera. I have had the check with your dealership come up when it doesn't work at all and they didn't have any answers for me. I see there are several vehicles out there that are having the same problem and there is a recall on them. I would appreciate your help with this. I haven't had any accident with this but would really like to have this fixed. Thank you, [XXX] INFORMATION REDACTED PURSUANT TO THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6)

Was advised by a law enforcement officer the high-mount stop lamp lens had detatched from the lamp housing. Apparently, the adhesive holding the plastic lens had deteriorated and allowed seperation of the components. The LED circuit board is now exposed to the elements. This without a doubt will cause the CHMSL to fail due to water and salt intrusion. Additionally, the non-diffused LED's are blinding drivers behind this vehicle at night. This failure occurred on the highway, and the lens nearly struck a car behind me.

I am reporting a serious mechanical defect in my 2008 Lincoln MKX involving the internal water pump. This vehicle uses the Ford 3.5L V6 Cyclone engine, where the water pump is mounted inside the engine and driven by the timing chain. My water pump failed unexpectedly, causing coolant to leak into the engine oil. This design flaw poses a serious safety risk due to potential engine failure while driving. This could lead to the engine seizing without warning, loss of power steering and braking, and increased risk of a crash. Ford and Lincoln are aware of this issue, and many owners have reported similar failures, but no recall has been issued. Repairs cost thousands of dollars and often require full engine replacement. This is a known design defect that puts drivers and passengers in danger. I urge NHTSA to investigate and mandate a recall before someone is seriously injured or worse. This failure is unpredictable, dangerous, and affects many vehicles using this engine platform

My 2007 Lincoln MKX was in Drive with the brake depressed waiting to back up into a traffic lane from an angled parking space in front of a small shop in our historic downtown area. Suddenly, the vehicle accelerated forward at a high rate of speed jumping the shallow curb and slamming into the cement foundation of the store. Continuing to depress the brakes made no difference in stopping the jarring unintended forward motion. The speed moving forward was so high that in the 10-12 feet from the curb to the store entrance the impact demolished the entire front of the vehicle even bending the front axels. The airbags did not deploy at all. The witness interviewed, reported loud screeching tires as her back was to the scene during the collision. Local PD, EMS and Fire all responded, with a full police report filed. It was extremely fortunate no person was either on the sidewalk or in the entrance to the storefront. My injuries included severe bruising to the right side of my neck, as well as a hematoma on my right tibia and an oblique fracture to bones in my right foot. There were no passengers in the car with me. The accident, and extreme concern over the malfunction of the vehicle allowing it to take control away from myself as the driver, has been reported to Ford Lincoln and a claim number established. My insurance company took possession of the vehicle from the tow lot after three days after determining it was a total loss. To reiterate, there was no warning at all before the incident. I was simply waiting for traffic to clear, so I could put the vehicle from Drive into Reverse and pull out of the parking space.

Subject: Urgent Health Risk Due to Mold in Lincoln MKX & Additional Considerations I'm submitting a formal complaint regarding our Lincoln MKX, purchased in 2018 with an extended warranty valid through 2026. A significant water leak has resulted in extensive mold and mildew buildup, posing severe health risks, particularly to my immunocompromised wife. Despite minimal use of the vehicle, exacerbated by reduced mobility during the COVID-19 pandemic declared by the WHO on March 11, 2020, we've discovered this longstanding issue, indicating it likely existed since purchase. The remediation process requires complete removal of the contaminated carpeting and padding, thorough cleaning of the underlying metal, and replacement with new materials to ensure safety. Efforts to resolve this with Ford/Lincoln have been met with inadequate support, not covering the extent of necessary repairs. Attached documentation and photographs outline the severity of the issue, the health implications, and our struggle for a satisfactory response from the manufacturer. We urge the NHTSA to consider these factors and our vehicle's low mileage as evidence of the defect's pre-existence and the pandemic's impact on its delayed detection. Immediate action is necessary to address this safety hazard.
