-The front bumper of the car is nearly coming off. This is attached by a "bra" covering the front bumper and if not on the whole front bumper would fall off. The tires/rims are also nearly run down and need to be replaced. -This is caused me great concern when transporting my children as a divorced father to and from the other party's premise. At every turn I believe the bumper may fall off or one of the tires. -UNKNOWN -UNKNOWN -This problem has been happening for at least a year, and I would like for the (front bumper) of the vehicle to be replaced along with four (tires/rims) at the earliest.

Wheel lug nuts get swollen due to the material used causing problems when the wheels need to be removed. I was lucky to not be in an emergency situation needing to change a wheel out. This could have easily happened and I would have been unable to change a wheel on the side of the road. I went to Costco to get my tires changed and they refused to take the wheels off because the wheel lug nuts were ALL swollen and could cause issues on removal or/and installation. They were afraid of stripping the hardware during removal or being unable to torque to spec during installation. The replacement of the wheel lug nuts with parts that wont recreate the problem was about $90 and taking an extra day for the tire replacement appointment plus me replacing it on my own saved on labor.

The contact owns a 2014 Lincoln MKZ. The contact stated that while her husband was inspecting the vehicle, he was unable to remove the lug nuts. There were no warning lights illuminated. The vehicle was taken to a tire center, where they cut the lug nuts off. The local dealer was not contacted. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The contact was concerned that in the event of a blowout, the tire would not be able to be replaced. The manufacturer was not contacted. The failure mileage was approximately 100,000.

I brought my 2016 MKZ in for a Safety Recall on front brake hoses. I was told that the lug nuts were swollen and would have to be replaced and would cost 💲 166.27. Had to do it to have the brake hoses replaced. They were replaced with the same type of aluminum lug nuts. This defective type lug nut has been a problem for over 10 years yet nothing has been done to change it. Luckily I didn’t have a flat tire I couldn’t have changed.

Took car in for an oil change and tire rotation. The dealer did the oil change but could not do the tire rotation because the lug nuts needed to be replaced.

Unknown. I purchased the car like this from a car dealership. When turning the tires are rubbing against something that makes the car start shaking every time it turns. The seat started going sideways and won’t move anymore The tires make an ugly noise when you press on the brakes

When I was at the dealership today, I was informed the lug nuts on my car have swollen and that if they are not replaced I probably will not be able to change a spare tire alongside the road if needed. I was informed that there is a manufacturing defect that Ford is aware of, but has not recalled yet.

We have swollen lug nuts on our vehicle. We are unable to rotate our tires and our service technician states they all need to be replaced. They state the "outer shell is swelling". The vehicle is available for inspection. This is a safety concern since the lug nuts can break. No warning lamps or messages are shown. These were professional inspected by a trained technician at Chapel Hill Tire located at 502 W Franklin St, Chapel Hill NC 27516. 919-967-7092

After a year with the purchasing dealer we are still having on-going electrical issues with the vehicle. Apple Sync, voice control. Still have issues with rims pitting after only less than 10,000 miles on the vehicle. Bolt rusting on under carriage. Film on back window. Lincoln Corporate has been following this case for a year now and my rep is Mr. Dehane Davis. This file is still open at Lincoln Corporate.

Lincoln dealer advised during an unrelated servicing of my 2015 MKZ that the lug nuts were swollen and presented a danger and major problem with the definite hazard of not bring able to remove a flat tire on the roadside with the standard tire wrench. I see that my situation is not unique and repeated many times over based on reported cases. I believe that a Ford/Lincoln recall is the proper outcome to reimburse yhose already impacted and s replacement for those owners unknowing of the dangers involved.

The Lincoln Mercury factory chrome plated rims leak air all the time making the tires low on air or flat very often! This is a very dangerous safety hazard that can cause loss of control and having an accident resulting in serious bodily injury or death! There are many numerous other Lincoln car owners that report the same symptoms and problems. The manufacturer never plated the rims properly with nickle prior to chrome plating, thus the chrome coating constantly peels off and corrodes; thus air leaks past the tire bead and the rim surface. This sounds like a giant class action lawsuit!! I am are both very upset and scared to drive under these horrific conditions, but I have no choice as news factory rims are very expensive and I cannot afford them since I am disabled and on a fixed income.

2007 LINCOLN MKZ V6. THE WHEEL/RIMS ARE GARBAGE. THEY ARE FALLING APART, CRACKS IN THE METAL, FINISH PEELING, AROUND THE TIRE PIECES OF THE RIM HAS FALLEN OFF. I CAN'T BELIEVE LINCOLN WOULD USE SUCH JUNK. I HAVE TO KEEP CHECKING THE AIR PRESSURE BECAUSE THE WHEELS/RIMS ARE SO TORN UP. I JUST BOUGHT THE CAR TWO WEEKS AGO. LINCOLN NEEDS TO HAVE A RECALL ON THESE WHEELS BEFORE SOMEONE GETS KILLED BECAUSE OF THEM FALLING APART. THE WELDS ARE BREAKING APART. THESE WHEELS/RIMS ARE DANGEROUS.

AFTER REPAIRING BRAKES AT MY COST MANY TIMES NOW THEY ARE RECALLED. I HAD TO REPLACE THE LINCOLN WHEELS AT MY COST AFTER RESEARCHING THAT MANY PROBLEMS WERE REPORTED. ALSO WITH ONLY 65,000 MILES ON MY CAR MY TRANSMISSION IS OUT. I HAVE HAD MANY ELECTRICAL ISSUES. IT IS CLEAR THAT MAJOR ISSUES IS ON THE THIS MODEL YEAR. WHILE DRIVING MY TRANSMISSION FAILED. I TOWED THE CAR TO DEALERSHIP AND THEY WANT TO NOW CHARGE 4400.00 FOR THE TRANSMISSION. I AM OUT OF MONEY WITH THIS VEHICLE AND IT WAS CLEARLY POORLY MANUFACTURED.
