I was driving down the highway and the right, rear window shattered and blew glass all over the inside of my truck (the cab). There was no incident, no stress cracks, etc. The window simply “exploded”. I drove to the nearest Ford Dealership, assuming it would be covered under my bumper to bumper warranty. After the dealership had my vehicle a full week, they informed me Ford would not pay. I told them to order the window and replace it as I needed my vehicle back. I ended up being without my truck for two weeks. I paid $591.60 and called Ford today, to ask for reimbursement. I was told they cannot do so as the warranty only covers “windshields” for 12 months. I reminded the agent that this is a rear passenger window to no avail. After a little research, I’ve found that hundreds of F-150 owners have had this occur. *My granddaughter could have been in that seat as it was the rear passenger seat! This is a dangerous issue. I am still cleaning up glass, I continue to find all over the cab.

Today 6/18/2026 I was stopped at a stoplight and the engine cut off as if often does and when the light changed and I stepped on the gas instead of restarting the car went into park and remained off until I restarted the truck. This is similar to the safety issue built into the truck if stopped and the front door is opened the truck automatically goes into park. This is the second time it has happened in the past year- the truck being stopped at a light and the engine stops running and when I step on the gas instead of restarting it has gone into park.

There is a manufacturing defect that is causing water to to enter the vehicle when driving in the rain. Where this becomes a significant safety issue is that the water enters somewhere near the bottom of the windshield (source still not determined) and runs down the pillar over the fuse box and BCM (neither is protected from the water). This could lead to an electrical short on any of the major modules of the vehicle unpredictably. the leak is confirmed but source is still to be determined by the dealership after 2 visits. In searching the web, this seems to be a fairly common issue on this generation of F150 trucks. I'll attach the pictures I could get but can never get one with the water actually coming in live

The turn signal stalk on my 2023 Ford F-150 Lightning intermittently requires excessive force to manually cancel after turns and lane changes. The stalk self-cancels normally roughly 50% of the time, but when the steering wheel does not rotate far enough to trigger automatic cancellation the driver must manually return the stalk to center. The condition is most reliably reproduced when the cabin has been elevated in temperature for an extended period and subsides once cooled. The issue predominantly affects right-hand turns and lane changes. The affected component is the turn signal stalk switch pack (multifunction switch), available for inspection. Diagnostic scanning confirmed DTC B124C stored in the SCCM. Based on my research this code indicates a Turn Indicator Stalk Switch Pack fault. The safety risk is threefold: first, a stalk that does not self-cancel sends false signals to other drivers. Second, manually forcing the stalk back to center diverts driver attention from vehicle control. Third, when the stalk releases under applied force it does so suddenly and without warning, and if the driver's hand is on the steering wheel this can cause an involuntary steering input, risking unintended lane departure at highway speeds. I am the second owner, having purchased from a dealership at approximately 60,000 miles. The defect was present at purchase and has worsened progressively to approximately 76,000 miles. The vehicle has not been inspected by a dealer as it is outside warranty. No warning lamp is present; however DTC B124C is confirmed via diagnostic scanning. I documented the issue in a video post which received responses from numerous affected owners: [XXX] INFORMATION REDACTED PURSUANT TO THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6)

The vehicle is subject to an active safety recall (rear axle hub bolt / axle assembly). The issue has been confirmed by a dealer inspection in November 2025. Despite confirmation, no repair was performed because the dealer did not initially order the required parts. This resulted in several months of delay. After escalation to the manufacturer, a parts order was finally placed in April 2026 and marked as priority. The dealer has since confirmed there is still no estimated time of arrival for the required parts, and the repair cannot be completed. This conflicts with recall information indicating that parts are available. The recall states that failure of the axle hub components can lead to loss of motive power or unintended vehicle movement. The vehicle is used regularly for towing and hauling, which increases concern about potential failure under load. The safety issue remains unresolved after several months, and there is no timeline for repair despite repeated attempts to address it through both the dealer and manufacturer.

St Francisville, LA Crash Fire 1 injured

UNKNOWN OR OTHER

After a crash into a tree on the passenger side the airbags deployed and the truck immediately caught fire and the doors locked and would not open for any reason. The only way I was able to exit was busting through the front windshield. had I been severely injured or knocked unconscious the outcome of this would have been much different. The truck burned to the ground in 11 minutes. It has been inspected by the police and awaiting insurance representative to inspect. There were no warning no recalls regarding a crash that would lock the doors and not allow me to exit.

I heard noise coming from my truck, sounded like it was in my wheel. Feb. 4, 2026 I took it to a repair shop. They told me it was the recall on my truck and gave the nut and bolt that had broken off my truck. I called Stanley Ford where I bought the truck to get the recall fixed. They told me they had the part and would get it out the next day (Friday) because I was leaving that Sunday on a work trip. They called me on Friday and said the part they had was for another vehicle and it would be 3-4 mths before they would have the part and I couldn't drive the truck. The software was not updating (even with a battery change) and I asked them to reset since we changed the battery. They told me it would $400 plus to fix that. They have not offered a vehicle for me to drive and neither has Ford. Ford was called and everything was explained to them. I am without a vehicle, with no real estimated time on when I will get my truck back and nothing has been done. No loaner, no paying for my truck since I do not have it. I have been without a vehicle for a month and 1/2. I work a full time job. I have a statement from repair shop and pic, but it won't let me upload.

The moonroof on our F-150 exploded going down the interstate. Nothing was hit and it sounded like a gunshot. The headliner remains intact with no damage and glass blew out at an upward angle. We submitted to Ford for a warranty claim but they denied it. Based on my research this is a known problem from Ford and they are not addressing it.

On 3 separate occasions, while traveling at highway speeds on the NJ Garden State Parkway in the left lane, my truck’s service engine light soon wrench would come on out of nowhere, the throttle would cut out, and the gas pedal would go limp and unresponsive. The only way to get it operational again was to turn the truck off, let it sit for 10-15 min to drain the computers, and restart. Imagine doing 70-75 mph in the left most lane and you lose all throttle and have to get your vehicle all the way to the right shoulder without the ability to speed up to avoid being hit in the process. Now imagine that same thing happening 3 times within a month. The dealership found failed factory power train wiring and a failed gateway module. This truck’s a 2023 with 50k highway miles. Shouldn’t be failing like this. Now it’s been at the dealership for 3 weeks…..

I have an open recall that has not been fixed. I’ve been reaching out to my nearest ford dealership and all I get back is the part is”ordered” or still on “back order”. I’ve been waiting since December for this to be resolved and still nothing. I bought the truck in November and immediately had it looked at. Now anything after market wheels/tires/supsension or lifts no shop wants to be liable or comfortable working on my truck until the recall is complete.

I received the first recall notice last May, 2025. Safety recall notice: 23S65 - 9.75" Rear Axle Bolt Breakage. No dealer within 3 hours driving has the parts for the repair 8 months later! And, they have no idea when (or even if!) those parts will be available. Once a safety issue is identified and a recall notice sent out, what time frame does the manufacturer have to make those repairs? It has been over 8 months - that is unacceptable. xxx INFORMATION REDACTED PURSUANT TO THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6)

"When driving on Interstate 15 in Draper/Bluffdale, external electronic interference forcefully disconnects the vehicle's infotainment and safety displays. This causes the main screen to go black, reboot, or freeze while moving at highway speeds (70+ MPH). This creates an immediate distraction hazard and disables navigation instructions during high-speed traffic flow. The vehicle's shielding is insufficient to protect the driver from this predictable external interference, leading to a recurring safety hazard in a known dead zone."

I first received notification from Ford concerning this Safety Recall but despite calls to numerous dealers throughout the area no parts as as yet , January 5th, are available to make the repairs. Transmission making whining noise. Started making whiny noise at 14,000 miles. Currently has 18,000 miles. Complained to the dealer, but dealer said that this type of transmission makes this kind of noise and it is normal. Which is not normal from everything that I’m reading. It’s basically the transmission is failing and it’s just a matter of time before it quits completely. I will attach a note from the dealer.

My wife went to back out of our driveway. She was on the side of the driveway in some stones. She put the F150 into 4 Wheel High which she has done numerous times. She shifted the truck into reverse with her foot on the brake and the truck accelerated and hit a tree 10' away from the rear of the truck, The truck has been taken for evaluation. I have to report my truck accelerated on its own. I called Ford Motor twice and was on hold for an hour with no luck. There were no warnings at all on the dash. Insurance Adjuster looked at it and told me to have it towed the the body shop for further evaluation. My wife was hurt and a contractor was standing in the are near the tree. Ford is aware of an issue on the 2023 Ford F150 with Pro Power Inverter. When the inverter turns on, the RF frequency emitted blocks the tire pressure sensors from sending their signal creating a fault. Dealers are recommending that owners replace their sensors rather than performing the fix. In many cases the vehicle is now out of warranty requiring customer to pay for the fix.

Moonroof Wind Deflector Detachment – Request for Inspection/Assistance.writing to report a recurring issue with the moonroof wind deflector on my 2023 Ford F150 Platinum Series. On two separate occasions, the deflector has detached while I was driving under normal conditions, at highway speeds. with no visible damage or signs of wear prior to the incidents. First occurrence June 2024 while driving up an on-ramp to highway estimated speed 45 mph entire part detached from my vehicle, was ran over by semi truck following behind my vehicle. My Vehicle was under warranty part was replaced by Ford dealership On [XXX]. Second occurrence July 2025 while driving in heavy traffic on interstate, estimated speed 60 mph. Entire part detached and struck the vehicle behind me. A manufacturer part flying off your vehicle once is a freak incident. safety issue. This has raised concerns for me regarding the safety and durability of the moonroof air deflector. because of the risk of damage to my own vehicle, but also due to the potential hazard it poses to other drivers on the road. A detached part at highway speed could easily cause an serious accident or injury. The part appears to be inadequately secured to withstand wind forces during normal operation. i believe this may point to a design or Manufacturer flaw and should warrant further investigation. While driving my 2023 Ford F-150 XLT through a parking lot at low speed, I attempted to stop and shift into reverse to avoid a tight turn between parked vehicles. With my foot firmly on the brake, I shifted into reverse—though the gear shift was abnormally resistant. The system indicated the vehicle was in reverse. Despite keeping my foot on the brake, the truck suddenly and forcefully accelerated on its own, overriding my braking input. It collided with two parked vehicles before I was able to bring it to a stop by turning off the engine. The vehicle continued to accelerate even while I applied firm pressure to the brake pedal, which depressed all the way to the floor and failed to stop the truck. At no point did I press the gas pedal. After impact, the gear shift remained in reverse with a blinking red light. No airbags deployed. This was an extremely dangerous situation that could have seriously injured someone had they been standing nearby. Additionally, for some time leading up to the incident, I noticed increasing difficulty shifting gears even with the brake fully depressed. At times when in park the light for other gear modes would turn on.  Indicating the vehicle may be in another mode other than park.  The brake pedal has also felt inconsistent, often requiring unusually deep and forceful pressure to stop, whether on highways, city streets, or in parking lots. This appears to be a critical failure of both the braking and transmission systems. I am extremely concerned for my safety and that of other Ford drivers. I am requesting a formal investigation into this matter
