A leaking, separating roof/windshield on the Range Rover often indicates a faulty windshield seal or, more commonly, clogged/disconnected sunroof so it appears to be separating parts or removing the glue. At this point its a matter of time there will be a separation or gap between the windshield and the roof and it will be unsafe and a disaster. While driving my 2019 Range Rover Evoque on the highway on [XXX], the headliner on my vehicle just suddenly collapsed, hitting me in the head while driving and blocking my view of my rear windshield and rear view mirror and startling me almost causing a serious accident at 70 miles per hour. Something like this should not happen on a car that is just a few years old and has less than 30k miles on it. The adhesive in the headliner just simply failed and the whole thing collapsed. I called my Land Rover Dealership and they just stated that the warranty expired 2 years ago and nothing they can do. So then I called Land Rover corporate at 1800-637-6837 option 9 and they told me they can't help either unless I take it to dealership and spend $300 to get a diagnostic report from them. Then they may or may not assist me. I brought to their attention that the model year 2020 Range Rover Evoque has 2 current recalls for the same issue, Failing headliner and headliner built missing materials and since the body on the 2019 and 2020 are exactly the same the recall should cover this as well, but they refuse and say it goes by year and VIN and 2019 is not covered under the recall. The recalls in mention are: Recall N412 (19V-840) and Recall N454. These need to be expanded to cover 2019 or a new recall needs to be added, because the issue of a suddenly collapsing headliner while driving is a serious and potentially fatal matter. My window is constantly leaking water. I am not the original owner. I went to get the window repaired and the shops say it’s a recall. I never knew it was one. I now have a problem with wiring and I believe that the leaks have lead to this!

The contact owns a 2020 Land Rover Range Rover Evoque. The contact stated that upon entering the vehicle, the contact became aware that rainwater had entered the cabin of the vehicle through the seal between the windshield. There was no warning light illuminated. The local dealer was not contacted, and the vehicle was not diagnosed. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 46,000.

Noticed a random crack appear on passenger front fender near head lamp. This appeared overnight while car was parked inside garage. Don’t know if the crack will grow and if so, how fast it will grow causing safety hazard with a potentially serious fender damage while driving on the highway. Aware of technical bulletin for this problem LTB00738NAS4 Land Rover said I have to pay for new bumper referenced in bulletin.

First off, my VIN info on the first part of this form did not mention the my car is a convertible With that being said , the car was in my driveway in the rain ( I was working on the garage door so I parked it outside) Its the first time in been in the rain since I owned it. When I pulled it in from the rain I notes water sloshing in the back quarter cavities. My concern is submerged electrical , corrosion. The convertible has back sets and the floor boards are wet I know Land Rover is aware of the problem because they have a TECHNICAL BULLETIN about it (LTB01227NAS1) these letters and numbers was on top of the bulletin. I also went on line and noticed I was not the only Land Rover owner that has this problem. Because this is a convertible there is more reinforced steal on this car so corrosion after time can be a serious issue. Vehicle has stress cracking bilaterally on front bumper where it meets the fender , looks like it is due to heat or excess tension from headlight. Cracks are split down the sides symmetrically and end result is requiring a brand new bumper at thousands of dollars. LTB00738NAS2 Is a technical bulletin describing exact issue but land rover states this bulletin doesn’t matter to me as I am out of factory warranty and there is no recall. The bumper being adrift reduces safety of the vehicle and interferes with alignments of sensors used for parking, collision avoidance, and other ADAS systems.

Water ingress manufacturing defect caused major electrical failures, including all central console components & mold/mildew growth due to inconspicuous 1st leak. Official Land Rover dealership replaced windshield in 2019 under warranty based on TSB N221. Another leak occurred in 2020 during pandemic, but no repairs completed. The last water leak in 5/2021 resulted in water visibly dripping onto interior surfaces by windshield. Water shorted more components -- unable to start car without emergency maneuver in manual, couldn't lock or unlock, use windshield wipers, all due to electrical system failure from water damage stemming from manufacturing defect. Extremely concerned the next leak could damage airbag functionality, steering, headlights, or any number of components reliant on electrical connectivity. Car has been at dealership service center since 6/23/21. LR stating it's "wear and tear"...refusing to cover repair under CPO warranty (ending in 5/30/22) or acknowledge poor workmanship leading to defect, though they state a new windshield is necessary. This is a very common problem with specific Land Rover vehicles...evidenced by countless experiences from owners in forums and complaint boards. I'm too scared to drive the car, as another water ingress issue could again lead to numerous hazards as a result of sudden electrical failures or visibility loss.

THIS IS ANOTHER COMPLAINT I READ ON HERE, SAME YEAR, MODEL AND MILEAGE, SAME LEAK PLUS MY WIPERS ON THE DRIVERS SIDE NEVER CLEAN THE WINDSHIELD PROPERLY. THE ENGINE WAS RUNNING AND THE VEHICLE WAS IN PARK AND I EXITED THE VEHICLE. I WENT INSIDE AN ADJACENT BUILDING FOR APPROXIMATELY 1 MINUTE. I RETURNED TO THE VEHICLE AND OPENED THE FRONT PASSENGER SIDE DOOR. I PICKED UP MY KEY FOB AND PRESSED THE IGNITION BUTTON TO TURN OFF THE ENGINE. WHEN THE ENGINE TURNED OFF THE VEHICLE BEGAN TO ROLL AWAY AND STRUCK A PARKED CAR AND PINNED ME BETWEEN THE VEHICLE AND THE OPENED PASSENGER SIDE DOOR. MY HAND WAS PRESSED BETWEEN THE CAR DOOR AND A LIGHT POLE IN THE PARKING LOT. THE TOW TRUCK DRIVER SAT IN THE DRIVER'S SEAT AND PRESSED THE ENGINE BUTTON AND THE GEAR SHIFTER EMERGED AND WAS IN THE PARK POSITION. THE TOW TRUCK DRIVER THEN SHIFTED THE VEHICLE TO NEUTRAL AND THE VEHICLE WOULD NOT MOVE. THE PARKING BRAKE CONTINUED TO ENGAGE AND THE TIRES WOULD NOT ROLL FREELY.
