AIR BAGS

I received a letter in August 2025 informing me about the passenger airbag recall for 2020-2025MY Land Rover Range Rover Evoque that said parts and remedy are not yet available. I received a second letter in February 2026 that said parts and remedy are available and advising I schedule a service appointment with Land Rover Range Rover dealer. I've called three Land Rover Range Rover dealerships in the DC-MD-VA area, and each one has told me "the parts are not available and are on backorder, and we don't know when they will be available" with no additional information about how I can get the parts/service when they are available. IF I'M DRIVING MYSELF AND MY FAMILY IN AN UNSAFE VEHICLE AND SOMEONE IS HURT OR DIES, WHO WILL BE HELD LIABLE? I WOULD JUST LIKE TO HAVE MY VEHICLE REPAIRED TO SAFE STANDARDS. THANK YOU.

2025 Land Rover Range Rover Evoque Carlsbad, CA

AIR BAGS

I am filing this complaint regarding serious and ongoing safety and quality issues with my 2025 Range Rover Evoque S. Since shortly after taking delivery, I have experienced persistent problems that have not been resolved despite multiple service visits over the past year. As a result, I have lost confidence in the safety and reliability of this vehicle. The issues include an overheating wireless charging pad that becomes unsafe to use. This issue has been acknowledged by the dealership as a known problem. During an early service visit, a representative advised me to purchase a third party wireless charger rather than offering a repair. The vehicle also has persistent interior rattling from the rear passenger side that continues despite repeated repair attempts. During my most recent service visit, I was told that the vehicle is built plastic on plastic and that this noise should be expected. Most concerning is an active passenger airbag recall issued Aug. 27, 2025. Due to a cyber incident affecting Land Rover systems, there is currently no remedy available. Because of this unresolved recall, I do not allow passengers in the vehicle, as I do not believe it is safe. This restriction has been in place for months and has significantly limited my ability to use the vehicle. I only drive when absolutely necessary. Because the dealership was unable to resolve these issues, a retailer representative who has been aware of the problems from the beginning recommended that I pursue a vehicle repurchase through Land Rover. I followed that recommendation and formally requested a repurchase. Land Rover denied the request without explanation and referred me to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration to file a complaint. I remain in possession of the vehicle but no longer feel safe or confident driving it. I am submitting this complaint so these safety issues are formally documented and reviewed. 2022 Land Rover Range Rover Evoque Austin, TX

AIR BAGS

My vehicle is subject to an active AIRBAG SAFETY RECALL. The recall has been open for 112 days. The authorized Land Rover dealer has confirmed that the manufacturer does not have repair parts available and no repair completion date has been provided. Although the vehicle is technically drivable, it is unsafe due to the airbag defect. The airbag system may fail to deploy properly in a crash, increasing the risk of serious injury or death. The manufacturer has failed to remedy this safety defect within a reasonable time. I am concerned for my safety and the safety of others.

2023 Land Rover Range Rover Evoque Mill Valley, CA

AIR BAGS

Recall N945 safety passenger air bag may tear I was notified July 2025. By December 2025 no solution has been provided. I called the dealership Land Rover Marin and they refused to repair saying I should not too worry and that this is not a safety issue. I find this false since the airbags are a primary safety issue and Im driving a car that cant guarantee the safety of the side passenger.

NHTSA complaint #11704015 — an unverified report by a vehicle owner.

2022 Land Rover Range Rover Evoque Englewood, NJ

AIR BAGS

I received notice of safety recall N945 for the 2021–2025 Range Rover Evoque concerning a defect in the passenger airbag that could tear during deployment due to improper folding during assembly. This condition poses a serious safety risk because a torn airbag could fail to protect the occupant or release hot gases that could cause burns. Since the recall was issued several months ago, I have repeatedly contacted my authorized Land Rover dealership to schedule the repair. The dealership stated that they are unable to perform the recall because their internal system was “hacked” and they cannot access recall information or confirm when parts will be available. The manufacturer’s website still lists the recall as “incomplete – remedy not yet available.” It has now been over three months since I was notified of the recall, yet no remedy or scheduling information has been provided. This delay prevents me from having a critical safety repair completed and leaves my vehicle in an unsafe condition for any front passenger. I am filing this complaint because the manufacturer and dealership have not provided a remedy within a reasonable time frame, and I believe this represents a failure to complete a federally mandated safety recall in a timely manner

2024 Land Rover Range Rover Evoque Miami, FL

AIR BAGS

It has already been 2 months, after the recall of the Range Rover Evoque 2024 for a faulty airbag. I went right away to the dealership located on 16750 SOUTH DIXIE HIGHWAY MIAMI FL 33157, and I spoke to the service manager named Henry. I asked for a loaner since it is very dangerous to drive this car with this faulty airbag, and he told me at the moment they cannot offer any loaner since it is not dangerous for the passengers if this airbag deployed at the time of an accident. He told me Range Rover will call me back when you guys get the new airbags. I called after 2 months and still no airbag solution for my car. I'm very concerned about my safety and passenger safety as well. and more since the problem is with the passenger front seat. i called as well to the RANGE ROVER headquarters and thy didn't offer any solution as well, and as a matter of fact they still have not any airbags to resolve the issue. I'm requesting a loaner or a rent vehicle while they fix the issue
