Odometer Fraud. The contact purchased a 2007 Nissan Quest. It was discovered that there was a mileage discrepancy. The vehicle was a dealer sale. At the time of the purchase, the mileage was 177,000. The contact stated that while driving at various speeds, the engine overheated and the vehicle lost automotive power. The contact made several attempts to restart the vehicle and continued driving. During one failure, the vehicle failed to start, and the vehicle was towed to the residence. The failure became more persistent over time and had occurred approximately five times. The vehicle failed to start and had to be towed twice. The contact stated that after refueling the vehicle, the vehicle failed to start and went into LIMP Mode. Several attempts were needed to start the vehicle. While driving at approximately 50 MPH, the vehicle continued to go into LIMP Mode. The vehicle was restarted several times and driven to an independent mechanic. The vehicle was inspected by a certified mechanic, who discovered that the vehicle had been subjected to odometer fraud. The mechanic informed the contact that the actual mileage on the vehicle was 230,000. The contact reached out to the Griffin Police Department, reported the odometer fraud, and was then informed to fill out a small claims case.

The front passenger door actuator stopped working so that you can lock and unlock the door. I saw that there is a lawsuit for other Nissan models of the same year for issues with the same part and figured it might all be the same part and should report it. It has been confirmed by monro auto repair shop.

Have fixed myself Ac compressor kit about 97,051miles on [XXX], maf sensor, two vvt solenoids having driven it 20,000 miles in five years trying to rid light. Nov 2019 purchased at 94,719 miles. Roberts nissan of manchester, tn checked and serviced on [XXX] at 95,186 milles in excellent condition. Light will not stay off for power train system, cam timing bank, timing chains, vct camshaft timing vct, power supply circuit. Nissan did replace recall ABS actuator. Had checked Cookeville Nissan [XXX] light on and they turned off saying it checked ok after a cold start for $230. It is loud now at 114,998 miles! This auto must have defective parts since Gateway has serviced it regularly. I am concerned about driving. Talked to consumer affairs of Nissan and was told it was over 65,000 miles and not valid. I was parking and barely moving with my foot in the brake when the vehicle suddenly reved up loudly. I had to depress the brake heavily to keep it from moving forward and put it in neutral. The vehicle continued to rev hard until I turned off the engine.

If I push the brakes to make the car stop, then try to have it accelerate again, like at a stop sign or anything, the gas pedal feels like it’s not doing anything, and the car doesn’t start for like 5 seconds, then when it does it goes about 5 mph for like 500 feet, then it goes back to normal, and because of this we feel it’s not safe to operate. This happens every time I drive it, so I only feel safe on not very populated roads driving it.

Well the problem is unknown to nissan and I filed a complaint with the BBB, and it is not resolved, the Mechanics at the Nissan in Hammond La, said they could not find the problem and in Mccomb Ms, The Mechanics stated that Nissan to had send a Electrical Engineer take a look the Vehicle. Customer Service never did any thing to solve the problem, The problem started when I had repairs Done on the Vehicle about year and half ago and started pulling in EMF from the power lines over or near the road ways, also shocking me if I touch the Door or console , I have used a Electricamagnetic Radiation tester to read how high the Radiation is in the car, Tester is a Erickhill RT-100 rated in the top 10, it is also shocking me on my left foot , I have to drive with left foot tuck under my other leg, this Issue needs to be fix I am thinking of suing if I find evidence there is foul play involved. I am 61 years old and never have I had a vehicle shock me and give me headaches,

Sent the van to Nissan for ABS recall repair and also got my serpentine belt replaced. The check engine light went on when I got the car back. I got a P0840 code which is for transmission pressure sensor. Nissan said I would have to replace transmission. They have a faulty transmission or they could have ruined my van after the repairs

Vehicle lost power multiple times while being driven. The alternator has been replaced three times last being 12/21. Battery has also been replaced. Vehicle has been to 2 mechanics. Potentially thought A/C compressor was causing problem. Replaced by mechanic number 2 May 2022. Vehicle runs until headlights are engaged, a/c or radio etc. Vehicle was driven 10 miles without radio, a/c or lights. Power drained within 2 miles of turning headlights on and cut out in traffic. Sputters and able to pull over without causing accident barely. Left stranded multiple times. Once on a major highway with traffic, stranded on side of road. Spouse rescued while waiting for tow truck. Multiple tows with major motor club. Catalytic Converter light is active and was checked by TJ's in Loganville, GA, it did not need to be replaced at this time. Affordable Auto Services, Mulberry Road Winder GA and B&B Auto Services, Dacula GA (3 alternators and 2 batteries).

The electrical system failed that connected the radio, navigation system and back up camera around four to five months after receiving bill of sale. When parked or stopped the vehicle stalls by dimming of lights and making a kind of stalling sound. The windows sometimes tend to slowly wind up or down(electrical). My safety and that of others were put at risk because of the electrical issues and so the vehicle is notable to perform at the level it should. The vehicle was inspected by a certified auto mechanic and was confirmed that it was an electrical issue. No warning was detected that i am aware of.

I WAS TRAVELING ON THE HIGHWAY AT NIGHT WITH MY DAUGHTER AND MY TWO GRANDKIDS. WHEN I NOTICED THAT THE CAR STARTED TO STOP AND THEN GOT OFF THE HIGHWAY AND CAME TO A STOPLIGHT THE CAR COMPLETELY SHUT DOWN. EVERYTHING COMPLETELY WENT OFF THE CAR WOULD NOT START, THE ELECTRICAL SYSTEM ALSO WENT DOWN THERE WAS NO POWER ANYWHERE IN THE VEHICLE. I THEN CONTACTED NISSAN CONSUMER AFFAIRS AND REPORTED THE ISSUE. THEY ADVISED ME TO TAKE IT INTO THE NISSAN DEALER AND HAVE IT DIAGNOSED. WHILE AT THE NISSAN DEALER THE REPAIRMAN THERE WERE THREE INFORMED ME THAT THERE HAD BEEN A CVT MALFUNCTIONING ISSUE WITH THIS TYPE OF VEHICLE. DURING THE TIME THAT I WAS AT NISSAN HAVING MY VEHICLE DIAGNOSE, THERE WERE TWO OTHER SAME MAKE AND MODEL OF MY VEHICLE THERE FOR THE SAME REASON. AND UNFORTUNATELY FOR ME THIS HAS BEEN AN ONGOING ISSUE AND NISSAN WAS AWARE OF IT. WHEN THIS VEHICLE WAS MANUFACTURED THEY HAD SEVERAL CVT ISSUES. AT ONE POINT THEY PUT OUT A NOTICE TO ALL OF THOSE AFFECTED FOR THE RECON. ONCE THEY REALIZE THE NUMBER OF COMPLAINTS THEY INTERN REMOVED THE NOTICE FROM THE ONLINE. AND DECIDED TO HANDLE IT ON A CASE BY CASE, WHICH NOW THEY ARE NOT REPAIRING BECAUSE THEY'RE MAKING IT A DECISION OF THEIR OWN AND NOT AS A RECALL. I'VE BEEN HAVING THIS ISSUE FOR THE LAST TWO YEARS I WOULD LIKE NISSAN TO TAKE OWNERSHIP OF THE MALFUNCTIONING CVT THAT THEY PLACED IN THESE VEHICLES. I HAVE DONE MY RESEARCH AND CAME ACROSS MULTIPLE HUNDREDS OF COMPLAINTS ABOUT THE SAME ISSUE THAT PEOPLE HAVE POSTED ONLINE AND NISSAN NEEDS TO TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR A FAULTY PART THAT THEY PLACED IN THESE VEHICLES. THIS IS ALSO A SAFETY ISSUE, BECAUSE HAD MY VEHICLE COMPLETELY SHUT DOWN ON THE HIGHWAY AS IT DID WHEN I CAME TO A STOP LIGHT SOMETHING MAJORLY COULD HAVE HAPPENED TO BOTH MYSELF AND MY DAUGHTER AND MY GRANDKIDS WE MAY NOT STILL BE ALIVE TODAY.

WHEN DRIVING DOWN THE ROAD MY VAN WILL START JERKING LIKE IT'S NOT GETTING ENOUGH FUEL. I HAD IT CHECKED OUT AND THE MECHANIC COULD FIND NOTHING WRONG WITH IT. WE DRIVE AROUND AND IT WOULDN'T ACT UP. SINCE THEN, I'VE NOTICED IT DOES WHEN WHEN USING THE WINDSHIELD WIPERS.
