I need to file a complaint because there is no fix available for this and the recall has been in place for almost 9 months - i have been unable to rent or sell or use this vehicle with the open recall that there's no fix in place for. I heard that Stellantis (FCS USA) had said that these vehicles that were outfitted for private use were not under the recall anymore, but i'm not seeing any information to this effect. on some VIN recall lookup sites, it doesn't show anyrecalls. but NHSTA still shows that this VIN is affected by Manufacturer Recall Number67C NHTSA Recall Number25V-720 PLEASE message me - I am pursuing legal action against RAM because i can't use the vehicle.

12/2020 First the TPS sensor failed at 1,000 miles and almost caused an accident. Would not go over 25mph, was shifting hard, and the service engine light was on. Verified and replaced at dealership. Second, the rear view camera stopped working while backing up and almost caused an accident - no back windows - major safety issue. Replaced by me as they have no replacement for it even though its under recall. No warnings. Third, the transmission was shifting hard and fell out while I was driving on the freeway at 55,000. Damaged transmission and crankshaft and joints. Verified and replaced at dealership. No warnings, no lights Fourth, the transmission bolt was found loose, hard shifts, and has an internal breakdown at 71,000 miles. Verified first by independent shop - they tightened the bolt for me and is now sitting at the dealership waiting on another transmission that has been verified and approved under warranty. No warnings, no lights

I have had ongoing issues with the backup camera not related to current recall 25v-552. The image on the dash screen would flip between upside down and right side up. It still the flipped image after being “fixed”. After the dealership “fixed” that problem, it would flip and reverse the image. That was subsequently “fixed” by replacing the dash monitor. However, the poor picture quality during both day and night makes the camera unsafe to use. During the day the image may be completely or partially whited out with glare. At night there are lines and distortion across the screen. In. Addition, the new unit does not monitor van diagnostic information which could impact safety. The van is currently back in shop for another attempt to fix camera system.

My vehicle is subject to open safety Recall 67C involving the cooling fan module and related fuse protection in the engine compartment. The recall has been open since October 2025. The manufacturer and dealer have confirmed that the remedy/parts are still not available and that there is no ETA for repair. At this time, I have not experienced an obvious operating failure with the vehicle itself. However, the open safety recall remains unresolved, and because no remedy exists yet, the recall cannot be completed. This is my sole work vehicle, and the unresolved recall is preventing lawful completion of the import/registration process in Canada and preventing me from using the vehicle for work. The problem has been confirmed by the manufacturer and an authorized dealer as an open recall with no available remedy at this time. I am reporting that the manufacturer has failed to provide a timely remedy for this safety recall.

I own a 2019 Ram ProMaster. The vehicle previously received the manufacturer recall repair for the transmission park issue (software update). After the recall repair, the vehicle experienced a safety issue where it would roll freely while in “Park,” as if it were in neutral, even though the dashboard indicated “P.” This created a rollaway risk. This happened August 2025 intermittently. Miles on the vehicle 68k. I recently (4/17/2025) serviced the transmission (approximately 73,000 miles) and found significant internal damage evidence. The transmission fluid was heavily contaminated, and I found approximately 11 square metal fragments around 1/4 inch in size inside the transmission pan and filter. This amount and size of metal debris indicates internal transmission failure. The prior rollaway condition combined with internal debris suggests the recall repair did not fully resolve the defect. Although the vehicle is currently engaging Park, the condition was intermittent and may reoccur without warning. This presents an ongoing safety risk of unintended vehicle movement. I am concerned that the recall remedy (software update) is insufficient to address mechanical failure inside the transmission, and that other vehicles may have the same unresolved defect.

The backup camera failed and the screen is black with an error message. In a large cargo van it becomes nearly impossible to see behind you. The problem was reported to the RAM dealer in Broomfield, they inspected the camera and agreed it needed to be replaced. This issue had been going on for a full year at least.

Office of Defects Investigation National Highway Traffic Safety Administration 1200 New Jersey Avenue SE Washington, DC 20590 Re: Safety Defect Complaint — Ram ProMaster (2018–2025) — Cowl Water Intrusion into Engine Compartment To Whom It May Concern, I am writing to formally report what I believe to be a serious, systemic, and unresolved design defect in the Ram ProMaster van, affecting model years 2018 through at least 2025. I am requesting that the Office of Defects Investigation open or expand a formal investigation into this matter. Nature of the Defect: The windshield cowl on the Ram ProMaster is designed in a manner that permits significant water intrusion directly into the engine compartment. Water enters through the cowl seam and surrounding gaps, bypassing any drainage system, and flows onto critical engine and electrical components including but not limited to: the serpentine belt and pulley system, the engine fuse box, transmission components, and wiring harnesses. I brought my vehicle to two separate authorized Ram dealerships. The second dealer confirmed — based on testing conducted on multiple ProMaster vans dating back to 2018 — that this water intrusion behavior is consistent across the model line. In other words, the dealer has effectively confirmed that this is not a defect isolated to my vehicle, but a design characteristic of the ProMaster platform itself. This confirmation does not reassure me. It alarms me. A design that has permitted consistent water intrusion onto safety-critical engine and electrical components across a major commercial vehicle platform for over a decade is not an acceptable engineering standard. Given the size and weight of these vehicles — many operated commercially and carrying passengers or heavy cargo — the consequences of power steering loss, electrical failure, or mechanical failure are severe. We have tried dealing with Stellantis as well. Any help would be greatly appreciated. [XXX] INFORMATION REDACTED PURSUANT TO THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT (FOI

On [XXX], while driving my 2021 Ram ProMaster 2500 at highway speed in Florida, the van suddenly lost all power and came to a near stop, then re-engaged. Vehicles were in front and behind me, creating an immediate risk of serious collision, injury, or death. I pulled over ~30 minutes, restarted, but it could not exceed 20 mph while RPMs were high. AutoZone confirmed limp mode and advised a dealer. I drove it home to Port Charlotte, then had it towed to Gettel Dodge Chrysler Jeep Ram, Punta Gorda, FL, where after two weeks it was diagnosed with a failed transmission requiring replacement. The transmission can be inspected at the dealership. No warning lamps appeared before failure. Problem confirmed by AutoZone and the dealer. I contacted Stellantis (Case #[XXXX], contact Regina Knox; dealership contact Noel), but repair assistance was denied. The van also has two active recalls, including risk of rolling out of park, unremedied. This transmission failure constitutes a serious and imminent safety defect, creating a hazard to myself and the public. I request NHTSA investigate this defect, compel Stellantis to repair it at their cost, and consider any further regulatory action necessary to prevent injury or death. Recall Remedy Failure NHTSA Recall Numbers: 25V-720 (67C) & 25V-552 (59C) I am reporting a failure by FCA US LLC to provide a timely remedy for Recall 25V-720. As of Jan 2026, the remedy remains "under development" since Oct 2025. Specific Safety Concerns for RV Owners: My vehicle is a 2022 Thor Tellaro motorhome. The admitted "Risk of Vehicle Fire" is critical because the vehicle contains propane and lithium/AGM battery systems. Despite the Part 573 report on the NHTSA server listing a "Do Not Drive. Park Outside" advisory, the manufacturer has failed to check these boxes on the consumer-facing summary and has broken links ("File Not Found") for the 67C technical documents on their owner portal. This lack of transparency and the 90+ day delay for a fire-risk remedy has rendered my vehicle unusable. I request that NHTSA investigate why these safety advisories are being obscured from consumers and force the manufacturer to provide a buy-back or immediate repair.

I, [XXX] , hereby declare under oath that I have been a victim of fraud, negligence, and unfair business practices by Ford of Kendall. On [XXX], I purchased a 2020 RAM ProMaster 1500 HR (VIN: [XXX] ) for $45,906, based on the seller’s claim that it was inspected, certified, with a clean title and under manufacturer warranty, and eligible for an extended warranty.” A CarMax report dated September 28, 2025, later revealed that the vehicle had been involved in a severe prior accident that was never disclosed, valuing it at only $5,500 and causing a loss of over $40,000. Since purchase, the vehicle has only been operational for about four months, spending the rest of the time in repair shops due to serious and recurring mechanical failures, including leaks, oil contamination, and defects in the steering, transmission systems and other problems. Check Google reviews by [XXX]. The alleged “repairs” were superficial, mechanical failures persisted, and invoices, service receipts, and technical reports were omitted, demonstrating a total lack of transparency. The vehicle represents a road safety risk and direct economic loss. INFORMATION REDACTED PURSUANT TO THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6)

The emergency call / SOS system in my van has never worked. I have taken it in multiple times over the last 3 years to have this repaired to no avail. This is an advertised safety feature of the vehicle and has never worked properly and the dealership has avoided permanently fixing the problem for over 2 years now. I believe the problem is caused by an electrical shortage from bad factory seams on the roof leaking into the Emergency call unit.

On Sept 14 2025 we were driving our Promaster and heard a knocking sound then the vehicle immediately overheated. We had the car towed to a dealership and we were informed we needed a new engine as the fan module had failed causing the vehicle to overheat and ruining the engine. The extended warranty company also denied the claim citing that the fan module had failed. We purchased the vehicle on Sept 10th 2025. The prior owner had several repairs completed to the cooling system in the months prior to us purchasing the vehicle which included replacing the radiator, cylinder heads and gaskets as well as many other components. Per the dealership, there was a code that stated an overheating indicator showed approx 1000 miles prior to us bringing the vehicle in. The prior owner states that this indicator light never came on and it never came on for us either. When searching the recall database, our particular VIN does not appear to be included in the current recall, however the part number in question on the recall matches the part number the dealer is citing as the underlying issue which caused the engine failure and for the extended warranty to not cover the replacement. As for safety, the failure happened on a very busy highway requiring us to sit on the side of the road for several hours until we could get a tow company. The vehicle is currently at the dealer and they have plenty of documentation / photos of the damage and failed parts. No insurance company or police have been involved.

I am writing to formally file a complaint for gross negligence, excessive delays, and repeated mechanical failures regarding my RAM 2020 ProMaster1500 HR; VIN: [XXX] at the authorized dealership Bomnin-Doral in Miami, FL. The vehicle remained at the dealership for 1 year, 4 months, and 18 days due to transmission damage and other mechanical issues. Five days after final delivery, the transmission failed again. Despite multiple attempts to communicate, no effective response has been received, and the vehicle remains inoperable at my residence. A steering issue also persists: when turning the wheel fully to the left or right, it does not return to its original position and must be manually assisted, posing a serious accident risk, especially in turns under 90° or U-turns. The dealership claims this is “NORMAL,” which we strongly dispute. The transmission is covered by the manufacturer’s warranty, and other damaged parts by the GWC (POWERTRAIN PLUS) warranty. These problems have caused significant financial losses to my business, family, and me personally, as well as severe impacts on our health and emotional well-being. Personally, the stress and frustration led me to the Emergency Room at Jackson West Hospital, where I was diagnosed with an ischemic stroke (Right MCA Stroke) and later surgically treated at Jackson Memorial Hospital. To date, no one has contacted us or provided an effective solution, which constitutes gross negligence and a flagrant violation of my consumer rights. I request that this case be reviewed immediately, and a fair investigation be opened so that actions like this do not go unpunished. I also request full financial compensation for all damages, including emotional and moral distress, punitive damages, and a full refund of the vehicle. I have videos and other photos that I can send but it doesn't like me send it because the videos and photos are too big in storage, but I can send it via email. The subject vehicle, according to the third party administrator for the vehicle's insurance co. had a transmission malfunction. The vehicle is owned by a subcontractor for the purpose of delivery for a seller. The vehicle, according to the TPA, was put in park and the emergency brake was applied, as shown by the interior video camera, and the vehicle went in reverse while the employee was in the back of the van, getting the order ready to deliver. The vehicle travelled in reverse approximately 90 feet down a 40 degree grade, making a left turn into my yard, and slammed into my side porch, making a very loud noise as if there was an explosion. I was sitting approximately 30 feet away in my back yard, and several children were playing in the yard across the road from the accident location. If the vehicle had travelled several more feet down the road and then turned left into my yard, it may have hit the gas meter and caused an explosion, possibly lethal to me, my neighbors, the driver, as well as destroyed my home. This vehicle had been recalled twice previously for problems with the transmission. See "WOO/NHTSA 20V-036" and "61A/NHTSA 23V-301."
