I took my vehicle on for am oil change and the mechanic brought to my attention that the front subframe of the vehicle had serious rot and rust. This lower subframe ties the front control arms together and other structural components, which is concerning with how fast this component has degraded. When researching this online, this appears to be a common issue on 2015 and later Transit vans, to the point that an investigation was started towards a class action lawsuit. My vehicle is only 8 years and has 95,000 miles, quite young for this serious of an issue to be found. Ford should be held responsible and a safety recall should be issued as other manufacturers have had similar ones in recent years.

Vehicle shakes violently on or about 65 to 70 mph. Upon slowing to approximately 60 mph the shaking stops. Also at slower speeds the vehicle pulls to the right. Contacted Ford Fairfield, California dealer two days ago; left voicemail no reply at this writing.

The vehicle was taken to another independent mechanic, who diagnosed the vehicle and determined that the torque converter had failed and needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. Van completely shuts down, lights on dashboard shut off, can’t not accelerate or brake, and hazard lights do not turn on. •Has the problem been reproduced or confirmed by a dealer or independent service center? Problem could not be reproduce at Ford the second time. The first time this happened, the Van was serviced at Ford for over 2 months for the same issues. •Has the vehicle or component been inspected by the manufacturer, police, insurance representatives or others? The vehicle has been serviced by Penske & Ford. •Were there any warning lamps, messages or other symptoms of the problem prior to the failure, and when did they first appear? No warning lights or messages, these issues comes up randomly and shuts the vehicle down completely.

In march 2024 my vehicle unexpectedly cutoff on [XXX] heading into wash. Dc. Called a tow to my mechanic and had the alternator and battery replaced. Mechanic noticed that the vehicles battery light remained and investigated further. After amonth in the shop we observed that components were utilizing battery power when the system should be off. We heard mechanical diagnostic sounds, and the battery would not maintain a charge after being driven. Upon getting it home and a day later upon jump starting again and when i began to turn the wheel, a violent jerking response came from the steering column. Cheched the dash and several popup windows had to be closed. AWD, BATTERY, and low fuel. There was also the wrench light on the dash itself. Went on the Ford forum and many others were describing the same issues, mainly battery drain. I thought i had disconnected the cargo area lights only to find out i did disconnect part but not them all only to further discover Ford engineered the vehicle where most of the features that were described in the forum not so accessible such as the fuse panel 'fuse 32' because theres no clear indication of where that is exactly on the diagrams. Ive have pretty much used the vehicle on occasions where im moving my equipment. As of september, i received a letter from fords "Customer Satisfaction Program" in which i responded only to be told from Bannister Ford that the Software Update that would fix High-Torque launches would not be installed because the battery light was on. Now to me, this sounds like a catch-22 because the issue is with their electrical design where if one problem occurs they have a fix but you wont get it until you fix the prom (ideally with them). all the while I'm setting up the appointment im being served ads for add-on services. Vehicle struggles and kicks to catch speed. At times in freeway/ street it will “jerk”/ hesitate to speed up. We have had to pull over in the middle of the freeway because it was not catching speed. No warning lights have turned on in the vehicle. It is dangerous to drive and vehicle looses speed or hesitates to pick up on speed, could cause an accident. Please help get vehicle fully checked, vehicle was made during Covid and chip shortage, I believe they rushed this vans out and did not make them properly. Other vehicles have had recalls for the problems I am experiencing with this vehicle, but mine has not been recalled. I strongly believe my vehicle is part of those recalls. Attached are the recalls made to similar vehicles, I believe mine should be included in this recalls.

Vehicle has an open recall for flexible coupling from the transmission to the drive shaft. This broke and damaged the fuel line, broke the brake lines and damage some other components. Took it to the Webb Ford in Highland IN and they informed me they will cover just the flexible connector and not the other damage caused by the failure, stating they send a lot of recall notices to the previous owner. Cost for the repairs are aprox $3,100. Since the failed coupling caused the damage, why i am asked to pay for the repairs caused by the recall component. I am a new owner of the vehicle and never received any notices from Ford. Thank you

All the dash warning lights come on. Parking limited braking. Pre collision assist not avail. Hill assist not avail. Turning hard mostly to the left the brakes are activating causing the vehicle to stop without depression the brakes. Also have to use half gas peddle to over come the brakes to get the van to move. While riding through a Walmart parking lot the power steering went out. I managed to manuever to a nearby Ford service station. While there awaiting service I read online that this make and model looses power steering. The Blog suggested turning off the vehicle and restarting it. I went back to my vehicle and started it and the power steering had returned. I was 5.5 hours away from home but when I got home I parked it until I could get it to the dealership. It has been at the dealership for 10 days and just last night the dealership told me that the vehicle has water and sand in it and that that is what is causing the problems with the vehicle. I have never been in water or sand in this vehicle.

I was notified for a **recall** on the DRIVE SHAFT sometime early this year ( Feb / March 2021)... I have about 24,000 miles on the van. I also reported humming noise after reaching 35 to 40 mph... and then more noise ( humming noise ) after reaching 65 mph on the expressway. I took my van to Northgate Ford, where I purchased new. They said they had the parts ordered etc. I left the van there for several days...Then I was notified that they put on the new replacement driveshaft,,,, assuming it was correct and BALANCED.... the service manager notified me that the replacement driveshaft installed was NOT BALANCED and was causing all kinds of vibration problems / issues... steering wheel, driving, etc.... upon taking the van back several times.... and getting a new corrected balance driveshaft, installed that. However,,, still more problems,,, humming and vibrations, etc. they looked at the DIFFERRENCIAL ,,,, and found that all the bearings were bad,,, had to wait 4 to 6 weeks to get replacements......I told them that anything that SPINS... and not balanced is causing more vibration problems through out the van,,, engine, transmission, exhaust system, brakes, name it,,, etc. I picked up the van on June 28, 2021.. note... they gave me an extended warranty until 2024 ( 3 years ) and milage of 75,000 miles... Looks like expecting more major problems, etc..... I still have the **humming noise over 35 mph... and getting louder... I have seen articles about possible exhaust / muffler baffles going bad, etc... now that they did the recall, etc.. my van is an accident waiting to happen... and with the humming noise... Now all I need to do is lose my hearing... bull ssssss... thanks

NOW NEW ISSUE ABOUT SOME SORT OF RATTLE WITH THE FRONT END... ETC..AND THAT CAR PULLS TO RIGHT? AND THAT THEY CANNOT FIX PROBLEM AS OF TODAY,,, WORKING WITH FORD,, LOOKS LIIKE THEY WANT TO KEEP VEHICLE....UNTIL ?? FIXED???
