1) incident 1: While changing lanes on an empty street emergency brake kicked in although there is vehicle in front or rear in adjacent lane. Incident date: 08/6/2026 2) incident 2: during snow time on a free way I75 towards airport. AEB kicked in multiple times. Environment Conditions: Snowing, Road is icy and vehicle was moving at 30mph. This situation was scary as we had vehicle in front and rear. If wouldn’t have intervened my car would be sandwiched between front and rear traffic cars. Incident date: Feb 2025

On XXX, about 8:30 a.m., in clear, sunny weather, I was turning my 2024 Honda Accord Sport Hybrid into a marked parking space. My foot was off the accelerator; I applied light brake pressure while the vehicle moved under 5 mph. Without warning, it suddenly and spontaneously accelerated at high speed. Within seconds it drove over a concrete parking stop, traveled through dense landscaping, and collided into a palm tree that prevented it moving forward. I immediately powered it off. The airbag did not deploy; no warning message preceded the acceleration. Before repair, Germain Honda scanned the vehicle; May 28 invoice the Shop Foreman and a Honda District Parts & Service Manager inspected it. The report’s Page 1 checklist all items marked green "Satisfactory" and no damage noted in vehicle diagrams. This is not reconciled with the packet's Lighting "NG" and B1036 results or estimates documenting a shattered right headlamp. The invoice attributes many codes to headlight/bumper impact but identifies neither the codes nor the basis. Native HDS data was not provided. Pre-repair records from Germain Honda (May 28), Caliber/ProTech (XXX), and Crash Champions (XXX) record DTCs/faults involving propulsion/powertrain, braking, network, steering, driver assistance, restraint, and body controls. They do not establish when findings arose or whether any caused or contributed to the event. After repair, on XXX, Honda of [XXX] reported zero DTCs. The precise cause remains unknown. I believe Speed Control, Brakes, and Fuel/Propulsion System most likely caused or contributed to the sudden spontaneous acceleration, complete loss of control, crash, and vehicle damage. If this same event occurred at a stop sign or stoplight, significant injuries and potential fatalities would have occurred to myself, or any pedestrians, animals, and vehicles in its path. While driving, my vehicle began shaking/rough running and the check-engine light came on. Multiple warning lights and system warnings appeared on the dashboard, including the brake system, steering, traction control, and TPMS warnings. The vehicle experienced noticeable shaking and reduced/abnormal performance. I am concerned that this may be a safety-related defect because multiple vehicle systems are being affected.

Whenever in park or reverse the vehicle suddenly power cycles. The vehicle also power cycles when steering and locks the wheel. This can be fatal if it happens on the public road in the middle of traffic.

I have keep regular maintenance up on my car. Recently all of the lights began flashing on the dashboard. I had oil changed, reset the battery, and all ignition coils. The lights came back on within a week. The car stalled while driving it and had to pull over inside of the highway, turn it off, wait a few minutes before turning it back on.

I have a 2019 Honda Accord Sport 1.5. I was driving on the freeway last week and my car did not allow me to accelerate anymore. Car went to an unsafe highway speed and it was hard to get to a shoulder where can safely stop. I felt my safety was compromised by this issue. All the warnings appeared on my dash and all the lights went on. No warnings prior to this problem. I am needing a new head gasket and repairs are estimated over 5K. I know there is a class action lawsuit against Honda because this issue is extremely common. I need help. I can’t afford these repairs and I depend on my car for transportation to work and child care daily. Please hole Honda accountable for this is very dangerous and very common.

Component Affected: Electrical System / Vehicle Speed Control / Forward Visibility / Navigation / Infotainment Description of Safety Hazard: I am experiencing a severe, highly unpredictable, and dangerous hardware defect involving the factory infotainment system on my 2022 Honda Accord Sport SE. The screen suffers from a hardware failure known as "ghost touching," where the digital interface registers rapid, erratic touch inputs completely on its own without being touched. This defect creates an immediate and severe driver distraction while the vehicle is in motion by automatically placing uncommanded phone calls to random contacts, changing settings, turning the radio on, and forcing sudden, loud audio spikes that startle the driver. Furthermore, these chaotic system glitches directly impact critical driving, navigation, and safety systems: GPS Navigation Failure: The ghost touches actively disrupt the GPS navigation system. The screen will randomly force the GPS map on when not in use, or it will glitch, freeze, and misroute while I am actively trying to navigate heavy traffic. This renders the primary navigation entirely useless, leaving me stranded and forcing my attention away from the road to attempt a manual override. Cruise Control Dropout & Auditory Panic Hazard: The system intermittently triggers a critical error on the dashboard that completely disables the vehicle’s Cruise Control / Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) systems at highway speeds. When this error flashes, the vehicle emits a loud, non-stop, continuous warning chime that refuses to turn off until the car's computer system randomly resets itself. This non-stop beeping creates an intense visual and auditory panic situation while driving at high speeds, completely shattering driver focus.

I am reporting a fuel pump module failure that has caused several drivability and safety concerns with my vehicle. Prior to the failure, the vehicle experienced intermittent difficulty starting, extended cranking before the engine would start, and occasional hesitation during acceleration. At times, the engine would lose power unexpectedly while driving, causing reduced performance and creating a potential safety hazard in traffic. The vehicle also experienced rough idling, sputtering, and instances where the engine stalled without warning. In some situations, the vehicle failed to start altogether despite having sufficient fuel in the tank. These symptoms became progressively worse over time and are consistent with a failing fuel pump module. Due to these issues, the vehicle became unreliable for daily transportation and posed a risk of sudden loss of power while operating on public roads. I am requesting that this failure be covered under the applicable fuel pump recall and that any related repairs and expenses be reimbursed or covered accordingly.

An accident occurred in my vehicle on 05/29/2026. It resulted in both air bags deploying even though the passenger side that was involved in the collision and damaged. It was considered a total loss due to the frame and passenger side as well as both air bags deployments. The driver sustained major lacerations on his forearm and was bleeding profusely from his arm during the time of the accident. The vehicle did not have comprehensive insurance therefore had to be salvaged and sold to the junk yard.

All lights on head dash are on , all components are not working properly or effected because of this. (Engine light brake light abs light tire light traction control light , sensors out all) while driving vechile reduces power does not operate randomly , have to pull over shut the car off and turn it back on. Has high vibrations lot of shaking, stauling. I have had it looked at with multiple shops and dealer . Everybody is playing a guessing game and can not pin point what exactly it is . Was told it was spark plugs and coils, alternator , fuel injectors. ALL have been repaired, and still have all lights on dash and still facing every problem listed after repairs. Been inspected by manufacturer. Say not been resolved was told if it wasn’t what was already fixed they don’t know and that this is very common right now . It first APRIL 2026 (3) times. The gas pedal failed to work on three separate occasions. The car essentially went into “limp” mode where the whole car stop driving out of nowhere. These models of Honda are known for the head gasket prematurely going out which has caused me car to have multiple misfires, warning lights, loss of power. I own a 2010 Honda Accord. While driving at various speeds, the vehicle jerks, and fails to accelerate as intended while depressing the accelerator pedal on the hwy. The check engine warning light VSA is on. In 2022, I had Honda replace the engine, However, just after the warrenty expired, I started to experince the same issues. The vehicle has been sitting since 2023, and so I have it in the shop now (2026). He has replaced the spark plugs but there is misfire code for cylindars 1 and 2. The mechanic states that it's an engine issue. The vehicle was had been diagnosed and repaired on multple occassions. A scanner has been used mutiple times to retrieved a code for a misfire in the engine. Replaced the engine, time and chain, spark plugs, catalac converter, ignition coil. Mileage is 165,000

My car started getting hot, began to overheat. I was on my way home on freeway. Second lane from slow lane. My car began to loose power, I could no longer excelerate. There was a big rig coming up behind me he was not slowing down as he got closer began honking I was trying to flag him that I could not move, as I was trying it started to go like 5 miles per hour where i began slowly to get over, cars in the other lane slowed down. Big rig went around me and avoided any collision. Thank God. I slowly made my way home on the streets with heater blasting. I towed my car to the dealer. I was told, my head gasket needed to be replaced, more than likely I would need a knew engine. Dealership said it was because when taken my car in for service I did not bring to the dealership. Cashier told me that there have been several incidents as mine.To my surprise I googled 2019 Honda Accord engine, and there were many with the same issue same car same year. Yet no recalls! I was lucky not to have been killed or have caused a multiple car collision. Are we waiting for someone to be killed to recall these engines. I missed several days of work, borrowed cars and rented a car to get back and forth to work not to mention the tramatic experience of a big rig coming at you honking on a FREEWAY. A week prior to this incident, my lights on the dashboard came on. I did call the dealership to set up an appointment. At that point they were no signs of overheating. I have taken my care in faithfully for oil changes where all fluids are checked, i was not told not once that any fluids were ever low, last visit was approx 5 months ago. I have called to have them send me all receipts. However in hindsight I do not need theses records as it has been proven by other people they have had the same experience. We are not talking about a faulty air conditioner we are speaking of an engine, in my case power failure. In the even records of oil changes and dealership diagnosis is required. I can email.

When Tpms light comes on, all safety features including cruise control become disabled. Lane assist and collision safety features become disabled. On top of that, I have had Honda look at my rear end after they replaced a rear upper control arm after being in a ditch and at 246,000 current miles, I have replaced my tires 16 times due to the rear tires ripping the tread off between 10-15k. If there was nothing else wrong, why have I spent between $10,000-$15,000 miles on tires? I have had numerous alignments at Honda and elsewhere. Marion Honda claims it’s normal! I was told I can put adjustable control arms on. I have met other Honda accord sport 1.5t owners with 50k miles on one set of tires, yet I can’t get more than 15k on the rear tires. Clearly something is bent or incorrect currently I am re replacing the upper control arm.. They say the alignment rack does not flag anything. I have bought between Goodyear, Michelin, and Pirelli tires they also replaced a turbo, only for a few months later to have a pressure problem that Findlay Honda found I was missing an oring in the turbo or intercooler. How? Orings do not call out. Fast forward 18 months and another bad turbo on this lemon!

The contact owns a 2019 Honda Accord. The contact stated that while at the stop sign to access the feeder road, while accelerating, the lights started flashing on the instrument cluster. The vehicle failed to accelerate above 5 MPH. The driver turned on the hazard lights, made a U-turn, and pulled over a block away at a stadium. The vehicle was turned off. The contact retrieved DTC: P0301, P0302, P0304, and P0300. A code reader was used to erase the codes. The vehicle was restarted and driven as designed. While the contact’s wife was driving, the vehicle failed to exceed 5 MPH. The vehicle was taken to the dealer for a routine recall repair on the fuel pump and software. The dealer informed the contact that the failure was not related to a recall. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was contacted and referred the contact to the NHTSA Hotline. The failure mileage was approximately 85,000.
