The contact owns a 2025 Ram 1500. The contact received notifications of NHTSA Campaign Numbers: 26V059000 (Exterior Lighting, Electrical System) and 26V495000 (Seat Belts); however, the parts to do the recall repairs were not yet available. The contact stated that the trailer brakes, brake lights, and taillights were inoperable while towing. The contact disconnected the trailer from the vehicle, and the vehicle operated as intended. The trailer was then transported by a U-Haul truck. The vehicle was taken to the dealer, where the failure was confirmed; however, the contact was informed that parts were unavailable for the recall repairs. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and stated that parts were available and needed to be ordered by the dealer; however, the dealer stated parts were on backorder. The vehicle was not repaired. Additionally, the contact stated that the display screen had been replaced four times due to a black screen failure. EXTERIOR LIGHTING

My RAM vehicle has several open safety recalls. For more than six months, I have repeatedly contacted my local authorized RAM dealership (Dodge Chrysler Jeep Ram FIAT of Winter Haven, Address: [XXX], Phone: [XXX]) to have these safety recalls completed. The dealership has advised me that the required recall parts are unavailable and therefore they cannot perform the repairs. I also contacted RAM/Mopar customer service directly for assistance in obtaining the recall repairs and scheduling an appointment. RAM/Mopar has been unable to provide a definite date when the required parts will become available or when the safety recall repairs can be completed. I am concerned that I have been required to continue operating a vehicle with known safety recalls for more than six months without a clear repair date or an available remedy. I am requesting NHTSA's assistance in reviewing this matter and determining whether RAM/Stellantis is meeting its obligations to provide the required safety-recall remedies within a reasonable time. Dealer offerd for sale, sold, but didn't physically deliver the vehicle. On the 11th of July. On the 14 of July i was informed my new vehicle was ready for pickup. It was not repaired I was told I would just have to come back when the parts arrived. I declined delivery and requested unwind and was told that was not an option because they funded the loan. I still wish to unwind the contract and not do business as they were willing to break the law and if I had not known and declined, I would have been unknowingly taking unnecessary liability. This company is a risk to public safety. As "we sometimes do this for people."

I've tried to get my local dealer to repair my vehicles recall and no matter how many times I visit, they tell me there is a waiting list with 12 people in front of me and they can only get 1 part per week. So I wait 4 months and again there is 12 people in front of me for repairs. Benoit Motors, Rosepine, LA 70634

EXTERIOR LIGHTING

The emergency braking system initiated during operating my vehicle (has done it 3 times) for no reason. It locks up my engine and will not let me operate the vehicle. The software went crazy with warnings. Would not allow me to turn off the engine. It acted like it thought I was having a front end collision. I seriously have been afraid to drive. I have this feature turned off, it should never have activated. I have had several electrical issues; example: drivers side running light twice has had to be replaced (first time it was only a few months old); the passenger side had to be replaced. The air pressure warnings are inconsistent, the screen goes black on my Uconnect system; the clock settings change daily. It drops, freezes or reboots constantly. The first week I had my truck the check engine light came on, I took it back to dealer and they found nothing wrong. A few weeks later it happened again; took it back and they said it was a "KNOWN" RAM issue, nothing is really wrong and no fix was available. It comes on frequently, I get it checked each time. It goes off on its own now. I do not trust it. How will I know if it really has an issue???

This vehicle was purchased used from Carvana, LLC on [date] with three open safety recalls unrepaired at time of sale: NHTSA #23V-799, #24V-754, and Campaign #48A. The vehicle was previously owned by a rental car company and was transferred at auction while these recalls were open, in apparent violation of 49 U.S.C. § 30120(i), which prohibits rental companies from selling vehicles with unremedied open recalls. Despite Carvana's own signed Recall Acknowledgment listing these recalls as open, their delivery agent verbally represented the recalls had been fixed. All three recalls remain unrepaired as of this filing

The tail lights keep going out on both sides. The tail light harness does not fit the female adapter properly. You have to hold it pushed in to get the light to come on but when you let go it turns back off. I have already replaced the sockets with Mopar OEM parts and am still having the problem. After researching I found that this is a common issue with this vehicle. It is a safety concern because without tail lights keep other drivers may not be able to see my vehicle at night or when I am braking.
