I have a 2019 Honda Accord the paint is completely chipping off and the clear coat on the roof and the hood is completely gone they had a recall on the white models doing the same thing I have the midnight pearl blue color the car is 7 years old I haven't even had it 5 years take very well care of it brought it to the Honda dealership in Palm harbor Florida the service manager Jared sent me over to the Buick dealer to get an estimate of almost $6,500 is what it would cost to get this fixed I've been trying to contact them for the last 3weeks never received a phone call back or heard anything and then in order for me to file a claim through the corporate of Honda I had to go and get the estimate from the gentleman at the Buick dealer and have an email sent to me because they refuse to contact me.. this doesn't even include everything else that I've had wrong with the vehicle prior to all this I've had to replace the head gasket fuel injectors bring the head of the motor to a machine shop to have it shaved down because there was a big gash from the manufacturer instead of them pulling the plastic off you could see someone cut it which ended up costing me another $300 this has been nothing but a nightmare. You can see on the edging of the hood all the paint is coming off and all on the edge of the back window and roof.. on top of paying almost $30,000 for this vehicle not even 5 years later this is the only vehicle that I own and the reason I bought it was because I thought it was going to be reliable it's been nothing but problems I take very well care of the vehicle always have it detailed and clean it's barely parked in the sun I have a carport it's always in the shade this is not from the Sun this is due to a defect from the factory when they painted it it's happening to other colors on the same make and model vehicle.. I'm sending pictures and the estimate

The plastic cover on the bottom is to low to the ground. Multiple times over the years it’s been torn or stuck on parking space separators or when I have to get my car towed it falls down. By this point half of it is gone and all the things under the car are exposed. Right now I barely have any plastic left. I pulled into a parking spot and it caught after it had been repairs and clipped back up there and almost ripped the whole bumper off. That part is too low or not built properly to even allow someone to park in a parking space properly. It’s very dangerous for multiple reasons. The way this was built is not even functional in real life

An accident occurred in my vehicle on 05/29/2026. It resulted in both air bags deploying even though the passenger side that was involved in the collision and damaged. It was considered a total loss due to the frame and passenger side as well as both air bags deployments. The driver sustained major lacerations on his forearm and was bleeding profusely from his arm during the time of the accident. The vehicle did not have comprehensive insurance therefore had to be salvaged and sold to the junk yard.

On this Car the AC drain hose causes unnecessary expedited rust of the subframe as it drips on the subframe where the steering rack and pinion are. this causes that part of the subframe to rust abnormally faster than normal due to the water. The hose whould have been redirected away from the subframe to prevent safety issues.

The moonroof is available for immediate inspection. Rudolph Honda in El Paso, Texas, refused to inspect it despite the severity of the incident. The glass shattered directly above my head while driving, creating an extreme risk of a major crash, permanent eye injury, or even death. This is not an isolated event—there are numerous reported cases of this vehicle’s moonroof spontaneously breaking. A third‑party autoglass specialist contracted by the dealership inspected the damage and confirmed an internal failure. The vehicle provided no warnings, alerts, or signs of any kind before the failure occurred.

The drivers side door on my 2024 Honda Accord Hybrid EX-L sounds hollow when closing the door, the other three doors do not sound that way. I took it to the Honda dealership and compared it to another Honda Hybrid 2024 model and the door also sounded this way, when closing. Makes the car feel and sound cheaply made. This seems like a defect that Honda should repair. Apparently they left out some insulation on the inside of these doors.

Everytime I try to turn my wheel it’ll get stiff and the notification will pop up saying “electric power steering system” but then it’ll go back to normal and when I start the car it sounds like it doesn’t want to start at all and like the cords are trying to connect because they start making a ticking sound. I’ve had issues with electrical before to where the airbags and lane assist had to be fixed but the issues seems to keep circling back around. Something going on with the electrical in the car and I have only had it for about a year and a half.

This is a second formal supplemental complaint. Vann York Honda sold this car as new, but a Honda America provided Carfax proved it was a prior personal use vehicle. The car has catastrophic phantom braking, causing a physical friction rash on my skin. Multiple witnesses are now afraid to ride in the car. The vehicle has suspension failures documented by irregular tire readings. Despite an active federal recall, Flow Honda refused mandated repairs. During a prior headliner repair, Flow Honda returned the car with a collapsed headliner and a Maintenance Minder A127 code. The oil life dropped from 45% to 5% without added mileage, yet I was told to drive it. Weatherstripping has been replaced. Recall work for seatbelt (which came apart) and fire risk in the engine. Manager Chris Moore falsely claimed a brake warning was merely a remote start issue. He has also shows a lack of understanding of the NC lemon laws. I have recorded complaints from well under 24,000 miles. Flow Honda held the car for four months, then claimed they did not know it was there. They sent a text acknowledging the recall but failed to perform it, trying to ship the car back to me to hide its 120-day neglect. The car has lot rot, tire rot, and an open battery exposed since [XXX]. My insurance company ignored warnings of retaliation and forced the car back to Flow Honda. They recorded a medical diagnosis of a panic attack on my paperwork without medical expertise and falsely claimed I requested a collision shop despite no collision occurring. This matter has reached my state representatives and the Governor. As a [XXX], this tax-exempt vehicle is a medical necessity. I am being denied federal safety repairs and discriminated against based on my sex, gender, and [XXX]. My first report to NSHTA was done March 2025. In late 2019 I noticed paint peeling around multiple areas of the car namely on the driver side, including the driver‘s door frame around the gas cap along the trim of the windshield and in areas on the trunk. I called Honda many times including emails include that included pictures of the areas. A local Honda dealership finally agreed to fix the issues of which they fixed all but one, the area around the gas cap in January 2021 within a year. The paint began to peel again in the exact same locations and they refused to fix it. I have sent multiple inquiries two Honda asking for it to be repair been denied the pictures below are the most recent photos, but I have pictures dating back over seven years of the issue if needed.

Hi, I think that this vehicle is major safety issue for both me and others, since bought new it tends to pull to the right , hard to steer or keep it in lane straight without wondering away! Pre mature Tire wear and tear vehicle inspected by different Honda dealerships multiple times with multiple alignments correction done and parts replaced under warranty to it with no remedy or resolution, filed case with Honda manufacture with no resolution as well! I took today for second opinion at Firestone I was told that vehicle can’t be aligned! due to right wheel caster is advanced or off by 0.6 inch which points to: 1 suspension issue ( got inspected multiple times) 2 subframe problems or frame damage due to manufacturing problems or geometry ratios defect I really don’t know what to do! Filled complain with you guys earlier …never heard back attached is Repair inspection from today and multiple alignments attempted by dealership on 10/2 10/29 and last 11/9 Parts was replaced at dealer 1 Rack and pinion component. 2 steering cable reel.

-The front subframe on the passenger side completely rusted through and broke. The driver side is perfectly fine and still has factory paint on it, but the passenger side is completely rusted out. Yes the vehicle and issue are available for inspection. -The front subframe is the frame component that holds and supports your front suspension, steering, engine and transmission. With the failure of the subframe the front passenger side of the car dropped down and the steering and suspension were compromised. Very unsafe for the driver and passengers to lose control of the vehicle. Loss of control is also very dangerous for others on the road. -The problem is very prominent for this year and model of car. It is an engineering flaw from the factory for years 1998-2002. The air conditioning evaporator drain hose is routed right onto the passenger side sub frame. The moisture from the drain is what accelerates the rust. The car only has 55,000 miles on it and it has failed this soon. -The car has been inspected by a shop previously and the shop welded a new support piece to “patch” the frame to make back home. -There were no symptoms, there was just a loud clunk on the front end and it dropped down.
